Story
Thanks to a generous grant from the Grey Muzzle Organization, my adoption fee is partially sponsored! My new family can take me home for $90! Danica is an 8-year-old, 30 lb beagle mix with big brown eyes who just loves kisses, scratches and cuddles and being close to her people. Her superpowers include being a fast and eager learner, loving all people everywhere, and getting along great with other dogs and her cat sister. She loves to just explore the outdoors and sniff around still. She’s good on a leash. In terms of house training, she’s does well during the day but sometimes can’t make it through the night. With more regularly scheduled potty breaks, we think this can be fixed! She loves to love on you and her people and to be rewarded for a good job! Some of her favorite things are her Kongs (stuffed with peanut butter, of course). If you're looking for a loving companion who will greet you and other of your four legged companions with full body kisses every time you walk in the door and loves spooning and snuggling at night and at naptime, she might be your perfect match. Danica is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. Her adoption fee is $90.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene… She Won’t Steal Your Man—She’ll Steal Your Heart! ❤️🐾 Jolene is a sweet 2-year-old, 20 lb Beagle who wasted absolutely no time making herself at home. On her very first night with her foster family, she hopped right into bed, snuggled under the covers, and decided that was exactly where she belonged! ❤️ Jolene is looking for a forever family who agrees that dogs belong in the bed, because sleeping snuggled up with her people is one of her favorite things in the world. This sweet girl is housetrained, great with other dogs and kids, and politely ignores the cats in her foster home. She is also trained on an invisible fence. Jolene does have some impressive jumping skills, so her forever home will need a high, secure fence or an invisible fence to keep this adventurous , squirrel chasing Beagle girl safe. Jolene loves people, treats, attention, and—did we mention?—snuggling under the covers. She is affectionate, social, and incredibly sweet. If your idea of the perfect dog is a lovable Beagle who wants to be part of the family by day and your personal bed warmer by night, Jolene may be your girl! 🐶💕 Jolene is currently being fostered in Northern Kentucky. Her adoption fee is $400.00. Rowdy is a little shy with new people. Shes great with all dogs she meets and would be best on a home with another dog to help her adjust. Rowdy is curious in new situations, but life up until recently, hasnt been kind to her..... so she will need time to get comfortable and then her true goofy nature will emerge! Like a butterfly, Rowdy is a much different pup than when she 1st came to us from the pound, with no hope of getting out :( UNTIL the rescue chick saw me and knew i was a diamond in the RUFF ;) Rowdy needs a patient home who will give her time to warm up, open up & trust. Older kids only would be best for her and a fully fenced yard is a must. Until she settles in she'll be an escape risk. An apartment would work for Rowdy as well. She is ready for her furever family!! Apply soon! Local adoption fee is $300(in TX)
