Story
Pepper is a good dog. She likes to howl especially when she meets someone new. Very hyper and needs lots of walks. Loves to cuddle and loves to eat. I have had her since six weeks old and she is loved but I don’t have the time to give her the attention she deserves. She loves to run and catch. She is wonderful with kids. Never has bitten. I have never had her around other pets besides dogs she sees outside so I don’t no how it will go. She barks at them but I don’t think she would hurt a fly. She is very anxious and has separation anxiety. She is crate trained and highly recommend leaving her in there when you leave because she is destructive and has torn up furniture in the past. But this behavior is only if you leave her alone and uncrated. I will keep her until I find someone who I know will take care of her properly.

Samwell Tarly (aka Tucker) is back and looking for his forever home!  Samwell Tarly (knows Tucker) is a 10yo 20lb Boxer mix who was returned to us through no fault of his own. He is a polite, quiet boy who is house and crate trained, great on the leash and in the car. He has done well with dogs and children, greeting potential adopters with a friendly wag of his tail.  After 24 hours with him in his new foster home, we have learned many things about this sweet boy! 1. He is very well trained! He knows “sit”, “stay”, and “shake” and I’m sure there are even more!  2. He LOVES to be outside and to go for car rides!  3. He is such a smart cookie! He alerts for the bathroom and knows when it’s time to eat!  4. He has a huge heart and the softest ears! He’s a great snuggler!  5. He would make a perfect first pet for someone! Samwell is our first foster (and first pet) and he has done such a great job! He is still getting acclimated, but he’s been such an easy pup!December 1, 2025, 9:29 am

Meet the cutest gal on the block with the best smile, Lucinda! Lu is a 4.5 year old hound, boxer mix who loves her people, including kids, and is full of exuberance. She is also only a medium girl at 45 lbs— the perfect size in our eyes! She came into rescue at 6 months old & was adopted, but was returned 3 years later because the adopter was having a baby. Sweet Lucinda did nothing wrong, & she’s looking for a forever, loving family this time around!  Lucinda loves playing with energetic dog friends after slow meets & is working on manners (she can get a tad bit excited for some hehe)! She would love an active home where she can go on adventures with her people— a favorite of hers is hiking! A family that gives her lots of belly rubs? She says, “yes please!” This wiggly girl is healthy & ready to find her forever home! She is house trained, crate trained, & knows basic commands! We wanted a family dog so we adopted Alfie as a puppy from a farm Mayslick. I underestimated the need for this particular breed to have a purpose and a duty. He needs stimulation and activity. He is not good with little kids because of constant nipping and jumping, but he is very sweet and would make an excellent farm dog or dog with a steady routine and someone who makes time to play with him. Unfortunately in this situation there are little ones in the house and he doesnt know his own strength so we need to find him a new home with older kids or just adults or ideally a farm setting.
