Story
Smokey is a loving companion that likes to be a lap dog often. He loves being outside but space is limited to the apartment complex doggy park. As I work full time he is in a crate 2/3 of the day which isn’t fair to him. He is house trained and crate trained. He may experience separation anxiety when adjusting to a new environment. He does go through bouts when he’s not hungry. That’s normal for him. He has a lot of love to give!!

Story
Ember is a 2 year old Beagle Husky mix, we rescued her when she was 4 months old. She definitely lives up to those breeds. She is a very sweet and loving dog, but she does have some behavioral issues, which would be managed better in an active home. We believe she would be better suited in a home with no kids or older kids who can actively play with her. She is not aggressive towards kids but she does get very jealous over attention split between her and our toddler. She is a VERY active and playful dog. She becomes mildly destructive if she isn’t stimulated and left alone. She does well with other dogs and cats. She is crate and potty trained, and does well on a leash. She really is so sweet but unfortunately isn’t a good fit in our home with a toddler. She is up to date on vaccinations and spade but not microchipped.

Meet the cutest gal on the block with the best smile, Lucinda! Lu is a 4.5 year old hound, boxer mix who loves her people, including kids, and is full of exuberance. She is also only a medium girl at 45 lbs— the perfect size in our eyes! She came into rescue at 6 months old & was adopted, but was returned 3 years later because the adopter was having a baby. Sweet Lucinda did nothing wrong, & she’s looking for a forever, loving family this time around!  Lucinda loves playing with energetic dog friends after slow meets & is working on manners (she can get a tad bit excited for some hehe)! She would love an active home where she can go on adventures with her people— a favorite of hers is hiking! A family that gives her lots of belly rubs? She says, “yes please!” This wiggly girl is healthy & ready to find her forever home! She is house trained, crate trained, & knows basic commands!
