Estimated to have been born around January 3, 2021, she has already overcome a battle with heartworms and was successfully treated. Mrs. Puff was briefly adopted, only to be returned through no fault of her own when a new "fluffy" canine housemate didn't warm up to her. She has lots of love to give and absolutely loves to play in the play yard. Mrs. Puff tends to favor women and would do great as an only dog or in a home with just one other canine companion. Her adoption fee is $250. If you are interested in meeting this loving girl and potentially offering her a forever home, please complete an application on the A Doggie 4 You website at www.adoggie4you.org. This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. We were told that a rescue agreed to take the puppies, but wouldn't take mama because she was so terrified. It's been a journey getting Patsy ready for a home, but she's finally ready! Patsy Puggle is a puggle (pug/beagle)-type mixed breed girl, 5ish years old and fully grown at 25 pounds. Patsy needs a quiet home with a patient adopter who will help build her confidence. Patsy Puggle needs a well-balanced dog sibling to help her navigate life. She adores her confident foster sister. She MUST have a fur sibling, no exceptions. Patsy Puggle needs a secure, physically fenced yard to keep her safe. Patsy Puggle is housebroken, crate trained and dog and cat friendly. She is not a suitable dog for a first-time pet parent. He is a polite, quiet boy who is house and crate trained, great on the leash and in the car. He has done well with dogs and children, greeting potential adopters with a friendly wag of his tail. After 24 hours with him in his new foster home, we have learned many things about this sweet boy! 1. He is very well trained! He knows “sit”, “stay”, and “shake” and I’m sure there are even more! 2. He LOVES to be outside and to go for car rides! 3. He is such a smart cookie! He alerts for the bathroom and knows when it’s time to eat! 4. He has a huge heart and the softest ears! He’s a great snuggler! 5. He would make a perfect first pet for someone! Samwell is our first foster (and first pet) and he has done such a great job!
