Story
JASON is a gorgeous 7 month old beagle puppy looking for a home. He's everything a puppy should be: adorable, sweet, playful, friendly and silly. He loves people and playtime. Jason is currently 21 pounds and close to fully grown, he should remain under 25 pounds. He is a complete goofball specializing in puppy shenanigans. He's best suited to a home with another playful dog larger than his little self. Jason was rescued from a miserable life living outdoors at the end of a chain so he's got some catching up to do in terms of training but he's bright, amiable takes correction well. And when he's naughty, well, he's so cute it's impossible to get mad. He needs a home with a physically-fenced yard to keep him from following his beagle nose into trouble.  If you'd like to meet Jason, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Jason at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate. Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 29, 2026, 11:54 pm

Story
Stunning ARNOLD is a sweet timid boy looking for a home. Our best guess on breed is a beagle/brittany mix. He's around 2 years old and fully grown at 26 pounds. Arnold has been with us about a month, decompressing in his foster home. It's taken him a bit of time to figure out that he's safe and people are kind. He's come a long way and is ready to find his furever home. If you're looking for a dog who will immediately jump in your lap and kiss you all over the moment you meet, Arnold isn't the dog for you. But if you are patient and willing to spend a day or two earning his trust, he will love you with all of his heart. Arnold needs a calm home with a friendly, confident dog who will help him navigate his new life. He's housebroken, crate trained and fine with kitties. He requires a physically-fenced yard to keep him from following his nose into trouble. If you'd like to meet Arnold, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Arnold at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate. Story
WILLS is a devastatingly handsome little mixed breed boy looking for a home. He's 1-2 years old and fully grown at just 21 pounds. He's a playful guy who loves treats and playing in the yard. His breed mix is a mystery. Siri thinks he looks like dachshund mix but he has long thin legs and a slender body. Maybe some beagle? Chihuahua? Whippet? In reality he's probably 6 or 8 breeds. Whatever the mix, he's absolutely gorgeous. Wills has a bob tail and we have no idea if it's natural or was docked for some reason. Wills would love to find a home with a physically-fenced yard and another friendly dog. He's housebroken and crate trained. If you'd like to meet Wills, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Wills at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate. Story
Meet COWBOY, pure sweetness on 4 legs. He's a gorgeous mixed breed boy with the sweetest face, about 2 years old and fully grown at 34 pounds. Our best guess on breed is beagle/Australian Shepherd plus who knows what else. We're basing that on appearance not personality, he's a fun, playful guy who loves attention, toys, zoomies and hanging out with his people. Cowboy is best suited to life as an only dog. If you'd like to meet Cowboy, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Cowboy at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate. Story
BOONE, aka Booney Boy is a simply stunning beagle with long velvety black ears and perfect smoky eye liner. Boone has a very important job in life. He will sniff every inch of the yard like he's doing a grid search. Every blade of grass is thoroughly inspected. If a deer or squirrel should appear, Boone will definitely let them know they need to move along. Boone is an easygoing guy who will fit in anywhere. He's good with other dogs but isn't interested in a playmate. He is fine with a dog (or cat) roommate. He would also be fine as an only dog. When Boone is done inspecting the yard, he enjoys hanging out with his people cuddled up on the sofa. Boone is a middle-aged beagle, around 6-7 years old and fully grown at 28 pounds. He's housebroken and crate trained and will sit for treats. Standard beagle rules apply, Boone needs a home with a physically-fenced yard to keep her from following his beagle nose into trouble. If you'd like to meet Boone, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Boone at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30-1:30 at PetSmart Eastgate.
