WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Sarah from the Hebrew origins means 'Princess'. What a dream come true, being YOUR princess!! I could totally get on board being treated like a princess, you know, like being spoiled rotten with lots of belly rubs and ear and under the chin scratches and whoa if you threw in some treats that'd just be the bomb...a life of a princess!! I am a total sweetheart of around 8 years, that was pulled from a local shelter where I was on 'the list'. I was shutting down being in a cold loud kennel but since being in my foster home, I've opened up and am starting to blossom. I do wonderfully with the other pups here, even occasionally trying to play. I'm also enjoying playing with stuffie toys. I even like that resident weird smelling thing y'all call a cat, I mostly just let her be (cuz ya know, she smells weird!). I also do great with the little kiddos, being oh so gentle with them. Most of the time I'm quite content to take a snooze while you're doing your thing. I am house broken and getting good at using the doggie door to come inside and am just starting to realize I can use it to go out too! I'm really getting to love this doggie door thing! I like going for our walks around the property but I'm more of a meanderer then a cruiser. I'm at that stage in my life where I like to stop and smell the flowers instead of bulldozing right over them! Coming in at around 43lbs I'm not too small that I get under your feet but I'm not too big that I take up the whole... everything. I would make a great companion type pup for someone retired or that works from home. I would even make a great first time dog parent pup. I will be good in the kennel but I definitely don't care to use one and I'm very good about not getting into things I shouldn't. Are you looking for that calm mellow gal that will be happy just to be in the same room? Are you looking for that someone to share in your daily life going on's from the mundane to the exciting? That constant, your princess, in your life that will never turn down belly rubs or treats? Oh wait, yep...that'd be ME!!!

Cooper is a great dog with a unique personality. He is extremely patient and does well with kids. He is still young so has lots of energy, but also likes being a potato and loves to cuddle. He loves to play- squeaky toys, balls, chew toys, rope. He is very sweet and has potential to be more behaved if trained (sometimes he jumps and barks) He is house trained and will stand by the door & eventually start crying to go outside. He knows basic commands (sit, paw, etc.). He is a little bossy and will force you to pet him by pawing at your arm, whining, and nudging with his head. Cooper a is a very very sweet and loving boy that only wishes to have love and attention

My husband surprised me with our dog Bruno 7 years ago when we lived in Los Angeles. At the time, we had 2 cats and another dog. He gets along well with both cats and dogs but outside of the household, needs to get used to other dogs. When we rescued him, we were told he was already an older dog but do not think that was the case. I am guestimating he is now around 11 years old but still has the energy of a younger dog. We had a fenced in yard and was able to let him roam outside as well as regular walks. However, we recently had twins, relocated and do not have the time to give him the outdoor activity or attention he needs. He is very friendly and cuddly and just needs someone who can play with him and give him the space he needs to roam.

Margo is a very sweet and playful 5 year old female Beagle. She was rescued from a hoarding situation a few years ago. Spayed and up to date on vaccines. She is great with kids and will do best in a single dog household. A perfect dog if you are looking for a true companion. She will love you until the end of time. Please note that Margo has severe separation anxiety, especially during transitional periods. She is fine for me now, but she would need someone who knows how to handle dogs with this issue. I do not recommend a multi-dog household, as she has tried to bite other dogs. I have not tested her out with cats. She is not crate-trained. She is mostly house-trained as long as she stays on schedule. I am traveling quite a bit for work and cannot spend the time and attention on her that she deserves. She would need to be with someone who is home most of the day. No adoption fee. She just needs to go to a loving home.

Wags looked for an owner, but no one came asking for him. Toby is the sweetest boy! Very chill, very gentle and loving. Toby gets along great with other dogs, he’s fine with cats, he’s good with kids. He’s just an absolute love bug.    Toby will be neutered soon and will be up-to-date on all his vaccinations before traveling to the northeast. I'm protective of my face, so a home with adults or older, dog-savvy kids is my ideal match. I'm also a bit of a goofball and adore the company of other dogs. Now, I might not instantly become your best buddy; I take time to trust and get comfortable in my surroundings. But trust me, the patience will be worth it. I'm brimming with love and loyalty, just waiting for the right family to share it with. Here's the good news - I'm house and crate trained, proving that, yes, young dogs can indeed learn new tricks. Oh, and there's more - I'm pretty chill around cats, though a gentle introduction is wise. And I've been curious and respectful around a human baby, so that's a plus. One thing to note, though, is that I've had some reservations around men. Despite two years together, I haven't quite warmed up to my human's fianc and have snapped at him a few times. So, it might be best if I find a home without men. During a short stay with Kathy, I was a little shy but kept to myself.
