Her elderly owner passed away, and suddenly the only home she had ever known was gone. Theresa is good with dogs, good with cats, and is housetrained! She has a cute way of letting you know when she needs to go outside—she’ll simply pace the floor until you get the message! 🥰 Theresa came into rescue with her friend Winnie, who is also available for adoption. While they were surrendered together, they do not need to be adopted together. Theresa would be perfectly happy finding a loving family of her own. This sweet girl has a very low activity level and is happiest just hanging out with her people. She would love a home where she can relax, lounge around, and curl up with you on the couch while everyone watches TV in the evening. She isn't looking for an adventurous, high-energy lifestyle—she's looking for a soft bed, a peaceful home, and someone to love. ❤️ At 10 years old, Theresa is well beyond the puppy craziness and ready to settle into her golden years. Rowdy is a little shy with new people. Shes great with all dogs she meets and would be best on a home with another dog to help her adjust. Rowdy is curious in new situations, but life up until recently, hasnt been kind to her..... so she will need time to get comfortable and then her true goofy nature will emerge! Like a butterfly, Rowdy is a much different pup than when she 1st came to us from the pound, with no hope of getting out :( UNTIL the rescue chick saw me and knew i was a diamond in the RUFF ;) Rowdy needs a patient home who will give her time to warm up, open up & trust. Older kids only would be best for her and a fully fenced yard is a must. Until she settles in she'll be an escape risk. An apartment would work for Rowdy as well. We started out as a litter of six, but our sister Laurel was recently adopted. Now, five of us are still waiting for our forever homes! Our mom, Maple, is a petite 18-pound Beagle mix who took wonderful care of us. Thanks to her, we are all happy, healthy, and thriving. According to our DNA test, we are 54.1% Beagle, 20.6% Shetland Sheepdog, and 8.1% Dachshund, with just a sprinkle of Chihuahua, Poodle and some other breeds mixed in. Since our mom is so small, we expect to stay on the smaller side once fully grown. Meet the crew: Birch (That’s me!): The biggest boy of the bunch, weighing in at 8 pounds at 8 weeks old.
