diesel is a five-year-old mixed breed dog. Diesel is our longest resident but a staff favorite. He loves long walks and playing in the pool in the summer. He loves stuffed toys and will play like a little puppy when he receives them. Diesel is house trained and may be able to live in the home with a female dog. Diesel does not show well due to him not being a fan of strangers, but once he gets to know you, you are in his heart for good. Diesels ideal home will be an adult only home with someone who understands the responsibility of owning a dog who does not warm up to people right away. Diesel will benefit from training and does great with the schedule and structure

TAM-TAM is a darling beagle mix, 15 weeks, 23 lbs. WHAT a cutie! TAM-TAM is one of 5 pups born to Momma Risa. Rescued in West TN by a visiting relative from Colorado. That does not happen very often. She and her Family picked them up and went over and beyond to help them. VAL-ANN, KIMMIE, JULIUS, GAGE are also available for adoption. Momma Risa will be ready to leave soon. She is a great mom. Remus is a sweet 9 year old Beagle who loves to snuggle. He is a rescue from a lab- which you can see from the tattoos in his ears. Although we love Remus very much, we have had to make the heartbreaking decision to find him a new home. Unfortunately, he bit our young daughter. We have managed the situation but feel this is the best decision. Remus absolutely loves people and would do well in a house with either an older couple or with a family with teens or older. He has never shown aggression to my husband or I or anyone in the past, he has even been great with other kids before, he has just been unsettled with a toddler running around the house. Although we tried some training with him he is still fearful and you can tell he is uncomfortable with her. Remus loves to go for walks and also loves to snuggle up on the couch with his people. Adoption fee is negotiable as we really just want to make sure he finds a good and loving home. Any fee earned will go to a local rescue.

He was found on the street in South Korea at 3 months old and taken to a high-risk city shelter along with his five other siblings. Luckily, they were rescued right before euthanasia by the rescue team and started living with other dogs in the local shelter. Despite some time spent at the shelter, Ohgong was given a chance to live in his current foster home in June 2023. His current foster family has been taking good care of him since, and Ohgong has learned how to harmoniously live with people with love, and now he is ready to find his forever home😊 • Personality: Friendly, Sweet, Gentle Just like when OhGong was widely known for his super friendly personality among the shelter staff, he continued to be very loving and sweet to his foster family. He loves to kiss you and be petted by you. His energy level is medium. He is usually calm at home but becomes active when playing with toys! Plus, he is such a gentle walker. • Affinity with - Dogs: Very dog-friendly! He doesn’t even bark towards other dogs. - Cats: He tends to chase cats out of curiosity but doesn’t show aggression. - Adults/Kids: Good with people in general but a little bit shy around male adults / Okay with kids. He is rather indifferent to them. • Walking Manners: Super well-mannered! Pacing with his person without pulling the leash. He responds to “Let’s go” while sniffing around. • Housetrained: Fully housebroken, going potty outdoors as well as using pee-pads indoors • Bathing/Brushing: Tolerates both very well. • Car Rides: Very comfortable with car rides. • Separation Anxiety: None. He showed some signs of separation anxiety at the beginning of foster, but not anymore when two months of foster passed. He spends most of his time sleeping while he is left alone at home. • Barks/Howls: Almost none. Just a little bit of barking only when greeting his family at home. • Appetite/Food Allergies: No allergies. • Likes/Dislikes: OhGong LOOOVES playing with toys, especially squeaky ones! He seems to even prefer toys to treats. • Shedding level (1~10): 5-6
