Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Adoptable Junnie! Junnie is a 2 1/2-year-old, Malinois mix who is looking for his forever home! Junnie is a happy and sweet boy and loves to play and be active! He will require a very active family that has experience with working breeds. He would make a great running/ hiking partner and LOVES to play fetch. He needs to be mentally and physically stimulated so he would also do great with agility, games and nose work. Junnie is still learning how to socialize with other dogs and can be reactive and mouthy, as Malinois are, with other dogs. He needs to be the only dog in the home but with training and support could be fine around other dogs out and about. He will require a home with a fenced yard, no apartments. Junnie is not tested with kids but since he still needs to catch up on training and can be jumpy, he would be best in a home with older kids or adults. No cats. Junnie is on the wait list to be neutered and will be neutered prior to adoption. His adoption fee is $400.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Meet Mama! She is a beautiful, 1.5-year-old Belgian Malinois mix who came to us with a litter of 8 puppies from an overcrowded shelter in CA to find a better life. She is a sweet, loving girl, who is learning to trust. She is extremely intelligent and eager to please. She will need an active home with working breed experience. She walks well on a leash and enjoys playing with toys. She will need continued socialization and obedience training. She can be an escape artist and will need a securely fenced yard with a minimum 6’ fence. She would do best in a standalone home, so she has room to roam. Mama has done great with other dogs in our care. She would do well with another doggie companion in the home, or fine as an only pet with continued socialization. Mama is vaccinated, microchipped and will be spayed prior to adoption. Her adoption fee is $500.

Story
Animal Profile: Buttercup is a 3-year-old, 55 lb spayed female "Texas Brown Dog" who joined us from Texas on 7/15/22 as an unsure adolescent. We have worked diligently with her in training to improve her confidence so she can be successful in her forever home. Foster Update: This young and energetic girl will do anything for a treat and very much wants to please her humans. She is building confidence; however, her anxious energy translates to reactivity at times. Off-leash she greets humans with excitement or indifference both in the house and the yard. She is doing well with the three large resident male dogs in the house after structured integration. She can play all day and has benefited from dog companions who can gently correct and/or join in her exuberance, as well as lead her in confident appropriate behaviors. She is potty trained and crate trained and often goes into her crate on her own to relax. While in foster care, Buttercup has received training from Bulletproof Balanced Training; her adopter will receive a private take-home training session. This girl is destined to be a wonderful loving member of her forever pack. Adopter Profile: Adult-only household Large breed experience preferred Secure fenced yard preferred Other dogs preferred (not required) Cat testing available for approved applicants Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $400 which includes spay, core vaccinations per AVMA guidelines, negative heartworm test for dogs 6 months and older, and microchip. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization.  Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application  July 26, 2024, 1:04 pm

Story
🐾 Hello! I’m Sugar! 🐾 I’m a 3-year-old male Malinois mix with a sleek black coat. Weighing in at 35 kg, I’m a big, cool, and smart pup looking for my forever home! 🐶 My Story: I was rescued from a kill shelter just in time, and now I’m ready to find a loving family. I stayed in a foster home for a year, where I was friendly and had a good relationship with my foster mom. 🏡 My Personality: • I’m quite shy around strangers, but give me 3 days to a week, and I’ll become friendly. 🤗 • I like to greet other dogs, but I don’t always play with them. 🐕 • I’m generally friendly towards dogs my size or smaller. 🐾 • I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure how I’d react. 🐱 • I enjoy outdoor activities but also love to rest quietly afterward. 🌳 have plenty of walking experience and follow people well without pulling on the leash. 🚶‍♂️ • I don’t guard my food against people or other dogs. 🥣 • I’m a quiet boy and hardly ever bark. 🐾 • I’m calm when put in a kennel. 🏠 • I generally only do my business outside. 🚽 Important to Know: • It takes time for me to build a relationship with strangers, usually 1 to 2 weeks. 🕒 • I’m not food-motivated and don’t take snacks from strangers. 🍪 • I might seem unmannered or too aggressive with other dogs because I think I’m a small dog and try to play with them. 🐶 • Other dogs might be intimidated by my behavior because of my size. 🐕 Fun Fact: I’m very cool and smart, showing all the characteristics of a Malinois.🦴 If you’re looking for a sweet, smart, and affectionate companion, I’m your guy! Let’s make some wonderful memories together. 🏡❤️ Love, Sugar 🐾🖤

Story
Max is a sweet Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix who is about 9 months old. This handsome guy was found by a caring family in the woods in eastern Washington. They tried many avenues to find his home and had no luck. As much as they would love to keep him, it’s not in the cards for their family. He would love a fenced yard where he can run and play! He will come to ask to go outside, is house trained, and he has done well with kennel training. Max loves kids and lets them walk him around nicely on the leash and takes treats gently from them. He has done well with other dogs and likes to play. Max is through our house to home program and is currently not under the care of critters pet rescue. We are working on getting him a neuter appointment and up to date on vaccines. Message us to set up a meet and greet with this sweet guy!

These pups are in Shoreline, Washington too!

Story
MEET RED! Red is a 1-year old sweet and highly intelligent dog in need of a forever home! He is currently in a foster home in the Greater Seattle area. Red is great mix of smart and loyal breeds. He is part German Shepherd and Rottweiler, with a few other breeds like Border Collie and Australian Shepherd thrown in. (We did a DNA test - we're happy to share it!). Red is such a great dogs in many ways: He is dog friendly, kid friendly and active. He is eager to learn, and will be excited to continue his training with a human companion. (He is currently enrolled in obedience training!). He does well off leash on walks in the country, and has wonderful recall. Once he knows you, he does not run off. He is constantly looking for fun things to chase but will look to you for permission and “leave it” when told. Red is also praise motivated and a fast learner. He gets along well with other dogs (loves dog parks!) but needs some gentle correction when he first meets friends because he excites easily at play time. He loves to romp with similar energy dogs, and he would thrive in a pack. He has a strong prey drive, but with proper instruction he has left the cat alone in his current foster home. He is always looking to his person for guidance and commands. Red is also great with all people once he has been slowly introduced to them as his desire to guard his family comes naturally to him. He is not toy or food aggressive, and is crate trained. He loves going for car rides and can be left alone while running errands (he does get car sick now and then). For long trips he may need medication until he hopefully grows out of it. He gets bored easily, should not be left outside in the yard unattended and would do best with someone who works from home or is retired, and who can give him the exercise and stimulation he needs. At the end of the day, Red enjoys lying by your feet or next to you on a couch. He is a snuggler and wants to be close to his people. He's such an awesome dog and companion. If you are looking for a sweet, loyal and active dog and are excited to continue to be his partner in training, Red would be perfect for you. He weighs 70 lbs. Please email for an application.

Story
Say hello to Junior!  He is incredibly sweet and smart.  This adorable boy can be a little shy at first, but once he opens up you will feel all the love he has to give.  Junior has learned a few tricks and if you have a yummy treat he will be glad to show them to you.  Our adorable boy is also crate traned (not his favorite place as he loves to be part of the action, but will sleep very well in it).  This smart boy is also leash train and does very well in the car.  He will be an incredible fit for any family.    Why adopt from Texas? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future. An opportunity to be loved and cared for by good and loving families. There is a reason why we make the trip to your area every two weeks. You are worth the drive. We have AMAZING adopters and we need more like them.We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Due to Covid 19 restrictions all Meet & Greets have been cancelled to keep everyone safe. Our adoptable pets are in Houston living with local foster families making the transition into your household a whole lot easier. Our transport company leaves Houston every 2 weeks for Oregon, Idaho, Washington, and Canada (Canadian adopters will meet us in Bellingham, WA). Story
Say hello to Moana.  This girlie is patiently awaiting the chance to bring happiness and love to her new family. May she continue to thrive and grow, spreading joy and laughter wherever she roam. If you are interested in welcoming one of these precious puppies into your home, we are delighted to offer transport services from Houston to the East Coast and Pacific Northwest every two weeks. This demonstrates our commitment to ensuring that these little ones find a loving and secure environment in which to thrive. The next available date for transportation is right around the corner, once they have completed their puppy shot series, ensuring their health and well-being. For more information on the adoption process and to submit an application, we kindly invite you to visit our website at www.springbranchrescue.org.  Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future from a city that has an animal crisis.  We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets.  So many have been dumped and cannot find their way home.  Many never even had a home and were born on the streets.  WE gave them a chance.  Every animal deserves a chance.   If we are based in Houston, then how can you see our posts? We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. We do not have a physical shelter. All of our adoptable pets are living with local foster families which will make the transition into your household a whole lot easier.  We have been doing this since 2019 and have been very successful.   Please look at our adopter’s reviews https://greatnonprofits.org/org/spring-branch-rescue.   ##1983961##
