Well, butter my biscuit! Howdy, y'all! I'm Dolly, and I may be the smallest gal in my litter, but I'm pretty sure I got the BIGGEST personality! I'm a 4-month-old puppy, and my story started with a heartbreaking chapter. My human passed away, leaving my mama and all six of us puppies behind. Thankfully, we got our chance at a fresh start, and now I'm ready to find my very own forever family. We think I'm a Malinois x Australian Cattle Dog mix, which means I may have inherited some serious brains, a little herding instinct, and enough energy to keep life interesting. Mama weighs around 55 pounds, so we expect us pups to grow into medium-sized dogs. I may be the smallest of the bunch, but don't let that fool you. I have absolutely NO plans to let my bigger siblings get all the glory! In fact, I'm probably the most adventurous puppy in the entire litter. If there's something new to investigate, I'm already halfway there. If everyone else is wondering whether we should try something, I've probably already tried it, figured it out, and moved on to my next mission. And the brains? Oh, honey. These puppies are ALL smart, which makes being the smartest one quite the accomplishment! I'm basically the valedictorian of the puppy class. I love figuring things out, exploring my surroundings, and keeping my little mind busy. With my Malinois and Cattle Dog heritage, I'll need a family who understands that a clever girl like me needs more than a cute face and a comfy bed. I'll thrive with training, games, adventures, puzzle toys, and plenty of opportunities to learn. Fair warning: when you combine a tiny body, a curious mind, and a fearless attitude, you might end up with a puppy who thinks she can do absolutely ANYTHING. Climb that? Probably. Investigate that? Definitely. Figure out how to get the treat you thought was safely out of reach? Give me a minute. But underneath all that adventurous spirit and impressive intelligence, I'm still a sweet little puppy who needs love, guidance, and a family to help me grow into the amazing dog I'm meant to be. I'll need patience with puppy training, consistent boundaries, exercise, and lots of positive experiences as I learn about the world. I may be the littlest cowgirl in the bunch, but I've got enough courage, curiosity, and personality to fill a Texas-sized ranch! Despite his menacing name, this boy is a bundle of joy in a svelte package. Felon loves to go at full speed and would be a fantastic companion for someone looking to get into dog sports -- dock diving, barn hunt, IPO -- he wants a shot to shine! In typical Malinois form, he is highly intelligent, loyal, and athletic. He shows moderate food drive and high toy drive and is an exceptionally quick learner. He does have an off switch and is content to chill on place command with a stuffy toy, or in his crate. Felon is very friendly meeting new people and has lived with other dogs as well as cats, but will be best in a cat-free home. Felon has a strong grasp of basic obedience training including recall, place and loose leash walking. Animal Information: Mabel is an estimated 2-year-old, 60-pound female Malinois mix who wound up at the shelter as a stray. She had recently had puppies, and the responding officer believed she had been dumped in the area. When Mabel first arrived, she was very nervous and reserved in her kennel. With a little patience and encouragement from shelter staff, she slowly came out of her shell, and it didn’t take long for everyone to discover that she was actually a total lap dog! Mabel also did well in playgroups. She started off shy and unsure, but with a little time, she warmed up and began enjoying herself with the other dogs. When Mabel’s time at the shelter was up, we simply couldn’t say no to giving this sweet girl a chance at the good life here in the PNW. We’re so excited to see her chapter change from survival to the happy, loving life she deserves. Foster Profile: Mabel is a sweet happy girl looking for an active family to call her own. She does well with other dogs and would be happy for a dog sibling in her forever home but would also be ok without another dog. She loves exploring outside time and would be a great running and hiking buddy. She is working on her obedience and does well in the crate and on leash. FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Adoptable Junnie! He is a ~4.5-5 year-old, Malinois mix who is looking for his forever home! He came to us around 9 months old, and has been waiting for a foster or forever home with us for 4 years. He would love to find his forever family ❤️ Junnie is a happy and sweet boy who loves to play and be active! He will require an active family that has experience with working breeds. He would make a great outdoors (hiking/camping/running etc) partner. He loves to play with toys and loves fetch! Junnie has been working on his dog socialization skills during his time with us and has made massive strides in what used to be overexcited puppy mouthiness, pretty typical for a young Malinois mix! He has done great with other dogs in our care on walks, and during meets, and group socializing. We do not know how he will be with another dog in the home, so meeting any existing pets in the home is a must. He would also do great as an only dog soaking up all the affection and continuing dog socialization outside of the home. He will require a home with a fenced yard for running and playing, no apartments. Junnie bonds deeply to his person/people, and can take a bit to gain trust with new people. We are looking for a home with no kids or cats. Junnie is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $400.
