Story
Animal Profile: Looking for a partner in crime? Meet Felon! He's a neutered male Belgian Malinois that is around 18 months old, 55 lbs, and is ready for a person to call his own. Despite his menacing name, this boy is a bundle of joy in a svelte package. Felon loves to go at full speed and would be a fantastic companion for someone looking to get into dog sports -- dock diving, barn hunt, IPO -- he wants a shot to shine! In typical Malinois form, he is highly intelligent, loyal, and athletic. He shows moderate food drive and high toy drive and is an exceptionally quick learner. He does have an off switch and is content to chill on place command with a stuffy toy, or in his crate. Felon is very friendly meeting new people and has lived with other dogs as well as cats, but will be best in a cat-free home. Felon has a strong grasp of basic obedience training including recall, place and loose leash walking. With this foundation he's ready to shine with a family dedicated to providing ongoing mental and physical stimulation, structure and leadership.  Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Adopter Profile: Large breed dog experience required Working breed dog experience preferred Other dogs of similar size OK No small dogs or cats Secure fenced yard preferred Interest in training/dog sports  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, and microchip with lifetime registration. Felon's adoption will include a go-home training session to set his future family up for success. The adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 non profit organization. Animal History: Felon was rescued from a chain in Baton Rouge Louisana by Trample Dog Rescue and taken in by The Good Dog, who relocated to Bellingham. He is currently being fostered by The Good Dog Way in Bellingham and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area. Potential adopters will need to be available to meet Felon in Bellingham, WA.December 21, 2025, 11:30 am

Story
Animal Information: Waffles is a 10-month-old neutered male Malinois mix who currently weighs 70lbs, but does need to lose a little weight! He and his littermates were left in a parking lot at Devore shelter when they were just 8 weeks old. Unfortunately the shelter was full so one of our rescue partners took the puppies home to vet them and find them families. Waffles is the last of the litter many months later, and he has been living in a trailer park with other dogs and people. We look forward to meeting him! Foster Profile:  Waffles is such a big love! He would do great in a home with a balanced dog friend but would also be fine as an only dog with an active family. He loves all people and other dogs and is quite a “leaner” so be prepared for lots of affection from this sweet boy. Waffles is crate and potty trained. He can be a little vocal when he is first settling in, so we are not considering apartments for him at this time. He’d love a home with a fence yard and a bit of room to run and play.  Waffles is an energetic boy and would make a great running/hiking partner, but he does have a good off switch when inside and it’s time to chill. An owner with Malinois/Shepherd experience would probably be best for Waffles as he is a big floppy/jumpy puppy at this point and will benefit from continued balanced training. As is common for his breed and age, he is a bit mouthy when playing, so would be a lot to manage with young children, but older, dog savvy kids would be just fine. Overall Waffles is a sweet boy with lots of love to give to a lucky PNW family. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from CA via Wiggle Butts, arriving to foster care on 12/13/2025 and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.January 2, 2026, 12:11 am

🐾 Meet Waffles! 🐾 Age: 3 years old Breed: Belgian Malinois Mix Status: Spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventions Waffles is a stunning, smart, and athletic Belgian Malinois mix looking for her forever family! At 3 years old, she’s past the puppy stage but still full of energy and enthusiasm. This girl is incredibly sweet and eager to please, but she will thrive best with a breed knowledgeable owner who understands both the mental and physical needs of a Malinois. Waffles loves a good game of fetch, and she’ll happily play for hours if you let her. She has had professional training, which makes her a fantastic partner for someone who enjoys structure, exercise, and continued learning. Her trainer is also willing to work with her new adopters should they like to continue her training. Like many Malinois, she has prey drive and will definitely keep the squirrels out of your yard. With cats, she’ll need slow, careful introductions. If they run, she may want to chase. She does well with other non-dominant dogs, but proper introductions are important to set her up for success. If you’re looking for a loyal, athletic, and intelligent companion who will love adventure as much as she loves downtime with her people, Waffles could be the perfect match. 💌 Could Waffles be your new best friend? Apply today and give this amazing girl the home she deserves! $200 Local Adoption Fee (in Texas) $450 Out of State Fee (includes transportation to your area)

Story
Meet Ranger, the intelligent and active Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and boundless energy. This handsome boy is a fast learner and has mastered essential commands like sit, down, wait, and shake. He's so clever that he tackled a level 3 puzzle on his first try! Ranger is a well-behaved and well-trained pup, making him a pleasure to have around the house. He's house trained, crate trained, and shows no signs of destructiveness indoors. However, he does experience some separation anxiety when his human leaves the house, which is why he's kept in his crate during errands. But don't worry, when he's playing in the backyard with his furry friend, he's perfectly content and doesn't exhibit any separation anxiety. Ranger is an active boy who loves going on walks, and he'll gladly accompany you on all your outdoor adventures. While Ranger is intelligent and affectionate, he can be barrier reactive, meaning he may react when he encounters certain barriers or boundaries. Patience and positive reinforcement training can help him overcome this behavior. This is very typical behavior for both breeds and he absolutely has to be adopted into a Mali/GSD knowledgeable family/ Ranger was in pretty rough shape when rescued and the vet initially thought he had an intestinal disease. Nothing was definitively diagnosed but the vet believes he has small intestinal issues. He is on a folate vitamin daily and will just need annual lab work and a high quality RAW FOOD diet. Ranger's charm and charisma shine through in the photos and videos provided, capturing his playful and loving nature. If you're looking for a smart, active, and affectionate companion, Ranger is the perfect match. Give him the love and care he deserves, and he'll reward you with loyalty and companionship like no other. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
HI - I'M FREYA! I'm a sweet and gentle 2-year-old Belgian Malinois mix in need of a foster or forever home. I was rescued from a crowded California shelter in the nick of time. While there, I was kenneled with another dog, and was calm and gentle. I can be shy/timid when you first meet me. But I love playing with other dogs, and I also tested great with cats! (We have videos!) I would do best with an active person or people who can take me for long walks, hikes and other outings. I weigh 55-60 lbs. I'm currently in California, but can be transported to you in Montana (no extra charge beyond adoption fee). Please email for an application and additional photos.

Story
Toby is a 5-6 year old, 90-100lb Shepherd mix who is looking for his perfect forever home. Toby was abused in his past and due to this will need a very specific family. He is very sweet and loyal with his people once he is bonded. Toby is looking for a home that has a fully fenced yard out of the city. Somewhere rural and quiet would be perfect for him! He prefers women to men and can take some time to trust men. His ideal home would be female only, but could do ok with a female/male couple if the man was patient and could build trust with him. Toby needs a home without kids and other animals. No other dogs or cats. Toby can walk fine on leash around other dogs but needs to be the only dog in the home. Toby loves to run and play and will love to spend time with his people in his backyard soaking up the sun and running around. Toby is neutered, UTD on shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is $200.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Say hello Greta. She is a ~2 year old, German Shepherd who was dumped near a partner rescue in California. She is hoping to find her forever family in the PNW! The kennel environment is very hard for Greta and she struggles to keep weight on. She is currently underweight and will need a family that can help get her to her ideal weight. Greta will thrive with a family that can bring love and routine into her life. She is very loving and bonds deeply to her people. She is treat motivated and very smart, she is eager to please her person and will do great with proper training. Being a GSD, she would love a family that is active and wants to include her on adventures. After activity, she is happy to lounge with her people. Greta can be reactive with other dogs at this time and will need a family that can help her decompress from the stress of being in a kennel environment, and work with her on confidence and socialization with other dogs. Like most working breeds, the stress of a kennel environment greatly affects how these dogs act around other dogs. With time, love, and proper training, we believe Greta can feel safer and calmer with other dogs. Due to her reactivity, she would not do well in an apartment or busy city environment, she is best suited for a calmer, more rural neighborhood. Greta is an extremely loving girl and deserves to be in a home where she can feel safe and supported. Greta is on the waitlist to be spayed and will be spayed prior to adoption. Her adoption fee is $400.
