Whether it’s hikes, runs, playtime in the yard, or learning new tricks, Rancher is always up for the next activity. Animal Profile: Looking for a partner in crime? Meet Felon! He's a neutered male Belgian Malinois that is around 18 months old, 55 lbs, and is ready for a person to call his own. Despite his menacing name, this boy is a bundle of joy in a svelte package. Felon loves to go at full speed and would be a fantastic companion for someone looking to get into dog sports -- dock diving, barn hunt, IPO -- he wants a shot to shine! In typical Malinois form, he is highly intelligent, loyal, and athletic. He shows moderate food drive and high toy drive and is an exceptionally quick learner. He does have an off switch and is content to chill on place command with a stuffy toy, or in his crate. Felon is very friendly meeting new people and has lived with other dogs as well as cats, but will be best in a cat-free home. Felon has a strong grasp of basic obedience training including recall, place and loose leash walking. With this foundation he's ready to shine with a family dedicated to providing ongoing mental and physical stimulation, structure and leadership.  Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Adopter Profile: Large breed dog experience required Working breed dog experience preferred Other dogs of similar size OK No small dogs or cats Secure fenced yard preferred Interest in training/dog sports  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, and microchip with lifetime registration. Felon's adoption will include a go-home training session to set his future family up for success. The adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 non profit organization. Story
Animal Information: Cupid is an estimated 7 month old male, 56 pound German Shepherd/Malinois mix. Cupid is the Roman god of love. He was found as a stray with his mom and 9 siblings. He had been at the Devore animal shelter for 2 weeks and was on the euth listed due to space. Thanks to a Seattle area foster stepping up to take the family in, they were all saved. We will share more about Cupid, his mom and siblings as they settle in. Foster Profile: C upid is pure, gentle love wrapped in the sweetest package. Of all the God Litter puppies, he’s the calmest soul in the bunch; quietly observant, thoughtfully taking in the world around him before leaning in for affection. He has a soft, engaging presence that draws people right to him. His signature move? The tiniest little tongue “belp” that makes a regular appearance in photos, a small detail that somehow captures his whole tender personality. Cupid truly hasn’t met a stranger. He charmed everyone at our recent adoption event, happily soaking up attention and offering tail wags to new friends like he’d known them forever. We absolutely adore this soulful, social little dude.  Home with securely fenced yard and breed experience preferred. We will not be considering apartments for Cupid.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from in Devore Animal Shelter in CA. He will be transferred via Wiggle Butts, arriving to foster care on 01/25/2026 and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.July 25, 2026, 12:31 am

How is she still not adopted! Delilah is one of the sweetest and most loyal dogs here at the rescue. She’s been here way too long. She’s raised her last litter over 2 years ago and now she needs you to give her the love she’s patiently been waiting for. Pleae open your heart and home to her WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🌟🐾 Meet Delilah — A Loving, Lively Girl Ready for Her Forever Adventure 🐾🌟 Delilah is a Shepherd (best guess), born 10/01/2021, weighing in at a healthy 55 lbs, and bursting with personality, affection, and zest for life. If you’re looking for a dog who will love you wholeheartedly and keep you smiling, Delilah might just be your girl. She is sweet, affectionate, and eager to please, soaking up attention like sunshine. Belly rubs? Yes please. Cuddles? Absolutely. A game of fetch or a splash in the water? Even better! Delilah thrives on interaction and loves being part of the action. Delilah does great with other dogs and enjoys their company, though she prefers to dine solo — a girl likes her personal space at mealtime, after all. No issues with people around her food or toys, just a polite request for her own bowl. She’s still polishing up her manners (sometimes those paws get a little excited!), but she’s learning quickly and wants to do right by her people. Because of her energy level and curiosity, Delilah would do best in a home without cats and with a secure, tall fence. She’s an explorer at heart and would love an active family who enjoys outdoor time, play sessions, and giving her the mental and physical stimulation she thrives on. 🐾 Delilah’s Highlights: ✅ Born 10/01/2021 ✅ 55 lbs of love and personality ✅ Sweet, affectionate, and people-oriented ✅ Great with other dogs ✅ Loves water, fetch, and belly rubs ✅ Active and playful ✅ Eats separately from other dogs ✅ Needs a secure yard Delilah is the kind of dog who will make you laugh, keep you moving, and remind you every day how special the bond between a dog and their person can be. With the right home, she’s going to absolutely shine. ✨ Apply today at haydudeequine.org and give Delilah the loving home she’s been waiting for. 🐾💛

Story
Animal Information: Gaia is an estimated almost 18-month-old female, German Shepherd/Malinois mix, weighing approximately 73lbs. Gaia means "Greek mother of all life". She was found as a stray with her 10 puppies. She had been at the Devore animal shelter for 2 weeks and was euth listed due to space. Thanks to a Seattle area foster stepping up to take the family in, they were all saved.  Foster Profile: Gaia is an incredible girl. Everyone who meets her becomes an instant fan. After raising her pups, she is more than ready to be a puppy herself. While she was originally estimated to be around 6 years old, our team feels confident she is closer to 18 months. Her playful personality shines through in everything she does. She is engaging, affectionate, and always up for fun. That said, she is still a Malinois. Smart, active, and occasionally a little mischievous if she gets bored. Gaia is great on leash, rides well in the car, and is fully potty trained. When left alone, she does need a high quality crate, we use Kennel Boss, as she is clever enough to let herself out of a standard wire crate. In the home, she settles in nicely, but like any Malinois, she thrives with structure and engagement. She is confident and neutral around other dogs. Happy to play when invited or coexist peacefully depending on their energy. We would love to see Gaia placed in a home with working breed experience that can appreciate her intelligence, drive, and fun loving spirit.   Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! ❤️ Casey is a 1.5-2 year old, 65-70lb Malinois, who came to us as a stray from California. He is a happy, friendly, and active boy, and will make a great dog for the right home! Casey is your typical Malinois, and is an active boy who will need a home that will keep him exercised and mentally stimulated. He loves walks, playing and the outdoors. He would make a great adventure buddy! He is attentive to his handler, and a great learner. He also does well on car rides! Casey has been friendly with all people we have seen him with, and is social. We are still testing him with other dogs and he can do well around some, and reactive/overstimulated with others. This is not uncommon for working breeds in a kennel environment. He would thrive in a home that can work with him on continued training and socialization. He is not tested with kids or cats. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Adoptable Junnie! He is a ~4.5-5 year-old, Malinois mix who is looking for his forever home! He came to us around 9 months old, and has been waiting for a foster or forever home with us for 4 years. He would love to find his forever family ❤️ Junnie is a happy and sweet boy who loves to play and be active! He will require an active family that has experience with working breeds. He would make a great outdoors (hiking/camping/running etc) partner. He loves to play with toys and loves fetch! Junnie has been working on his dog socialization skills during his time with us and has made massive strides in what used to be overexcited puppy mouthiness, pretty typical for a young Malinois mix! He has done great with other dogs in our care on walks, and during meets, and group socializing. We do not know how he will be with another dog in the home, so meeting any existing pets in the home is a must. He would also do great as an only dog soaking up all the affection and continuing dog socialization outside of the home. He will require a home with a fenced yard for running and playing, no apartments. Junnie bonds deeply to his person/people, and can take a bit to gain trust with new people. We are looking for a home with no kids or cats. Junnie is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $400.

Meet Our Malinois/German Shepherd Mix Puppies! Think you know high-energy dogs? These stunning puppies are here to raise the bar! Their mom is a purebred Belgian Malinois, and their dad is a German Shepherd, creating an incredibly intelligent, athletic, and driven combination. They are expected to grow into beautiful dogs weighing 50+ pounds. These puppies are already showing exactly what you'd expect from this mix. They're incredibly smart and are already learning "sit." They are mouthy, nippy, energetic, tenacious, intense, and always looking for their next job. Everything is a game, a lesson, or an adventure! These are not puppies that will simply "grow out of it." They need owners who understand working breeds and are committed to daily training, structure, enrichment, and exercise. You must be intentional with these puppies. If you're inconsistent or lax, they'll happily take charge of the household! Because of this, breed-specific or similar working-breed experience is required. We are always selective with our adoption applications, but for these puppies, we will be especially thorough. We want homes that truly understand the commitment these incredible dogs require and can help them become the amazing companions they were bred to be. If you're looking for a loyal adventure partner, training companion, and a dog that will challenge and amaze you every single day, one of these puppies might just be your perfect match. Local adoption fee is $350(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $650 (includes transport to your area)

These pups are in Bothell, Washington too!

Please note that we are a foster based rescue in TX. All of our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. We transport them to new states once adopted. ALL ADOPTERS MUST BE 21+. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Meet Mercy! Mercy is a beautiful 3-4 month old German Shepherd mix weighing about 25 pounds, and she has a heart every bit as beautiful as her name. Mercy and her three siblings were born into an unwanted litter and rescued from a small Texas town just days before they were scheduled to be euthanized. Thanks to that second chance, this sweet girl is now searching for a forever family who will love her for the rest of her life. Mercy is the definition of a people puppy. She loves everyone she meets and will happily follow her favorite humans from room to room, always wanting to be part of whatever you're doing. Whether you're working, relaxing, or heading outside, Mercy just wants to be by your side. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, should do great with cats, and is great with kids, making her a fantastic addition to just about any family. She also has an adorable playful side—you'll often catch her wading around in the kiddie pool or sticking her nose into the water to blow little bubbles, a quirky habit that's guaranteed to make you smile. And those eyes... Mercy has the sweetest puppy dog eyes that can melt even the toughest heart. One look at her soulful expression, and you'll be completely smitten. Mercy has already overcome so much in her short life, but she hasn't let it dull her loving spirit. She's ready to leave her past behind and start the next chapter with a family who will cherish her forever. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, fun-loving best friend, Mercy is ready to fill that role—and your heart.

PLEASE NOTE! WE ARE A TEXAS BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN TEXAS AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO YOUR STATE ONCE ADOPTED. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Meet Patriot! Patriot is a handsome 3-year-old Presa Canario/Lab mix weighing around 50 pounds with a gentle heart and an easygoing personality. He spent his puppyhood growing up on a Mennonite farm and is now ready to discover what it's like to be a beloved member of a family. Patriot is the kind of dog who wins everyone over with his sweet nature. He loves people, is great with kids (his foster has children that range from toddler to teen and he shows lots of patience and gentleness with them), and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Whether he's playing in the yard with his canine friends or relaxing at your feet after a long day, Patriot is simply happy to be with those he loves. While he's currently living outdoors, Patriot is eager to embrace indoor life. With a little patience and a consistent routine, he should learn potty training very quickly. More than anything, he's dreaming of a soft dog bed to curl up on, a few toys to call his own, and a family that will shower him with the love he's so ready to return. Patriot is affectionate, loyal, and always ready for a good ear scratch or belly rub. If you're looking for a sweet, laid-back companion who will fit right into family life, Patriot is waiting to meet you and become your newest best friend.

Story
Animal Profile: Leo is an estimated 5-year-old male slight-structured Shepherd mix who was adopted as a young puppy after we accepted him from California where he was found as a stray in a Chino dumping zone along with his sibling Sansa and mom Catelyn. He joined us in Seattle on 10/10, along with Sansa and Catelyn. Leo was returned to the rescue after a couple of years due to a divorce in the family, lacking socialization and training. He was fostered with a trainer for several weeks and is now thriving and ready for a loving forever home.  Seattle Foster Update: Leo has progressed well in his time with us as a foster. When Leo arrived to us from training he was moderately reactive, but quickly blossomed to a friendly, tail wagging, bouncy boy. Leo is in a word eccentric. He is a cuddle bug and a hermit and assumes the oddest positions imaginable to get close to his owners. He is crate trained perfectly and enjoys the safe environment the crate provides for him. If you’re unwilling to give Leo a crate then you’re not the right home for him. He needs his escape and downtime to be the best boy. Leo warms up slowly to new people and dogs, and his new owners should be selective in dog introductions as he will react if confronted and doesn’t like in your face dog encounters. He plays well with male Collie and male Malinois and he has a firm truce with our selective female Bulldog. He lives with our cats and is completely disinterested in them. So, cat friendly. Leo will never be a dog park dog. So no dog parks. We don’t have kids in the household so don’t have awareness there. He has no food aggression but he's still working on taking treats gently. Leo will be a great hiking buddy and walks beautifully on leash. He doesn’t have marked stranger danger but again the policy will likely be "please don’t pet my dog without proper introductions." Adopter Profile: Dog experience required Fenced yard required Other dog/dogs in the home a plus Cats okay Older kids okay Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $400, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.  Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org  July 25, 2026, 12:31 am
