Story
Hey Arnold! Meet our 3-year-old Border Collie Mix weighing 56 pounds of stunning good looks. While he may be a bouncy boy who hops with paws up for attention, it’s best to fight the urge to hug all that floofy fur as he’s not a fan of handsy humans. Throw some toys his way and he turns into one playful pup. Yummy treats are another way to win over his heart, but he’s not one to share, so a life of being the only spoiled pet would really help him thrive. An experienced mature home ready to welcome this gorgeous guy into their family will be in for a life of fun! The Monmouth County SPCA is open for walk-ins every day, starting at noon!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.wagoninn.rescuegroups.org Koda is a handsome puppy who is looking for a home! Koda is now in a NJ foster home. Koda is described as super affectionate and loves to play! He loves to be around people, play outside and run around the yard. Koda loves other dogs. This little cutie loves toys and can entertain himself. He enjoys spending time outside AND snuggling on the couch. Koda is housebroken, crate trained and is good on the leash. We think Koda is a mix of Catahoula Leopard Dog, Heeler, maybe some hound and/or Swissie but we can't be sure. He can be silly and overexcited sometimes but mostly because he wants to meet and make friends with everyone. We found out Koda can jump a 4' fence so we are recommending a home with a 6' fence or one where he will always be walked on a leash. Koda would love an active family and may do well at agility! Koda is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. He tested negative for heartworm. His adoption fee is $450.  Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.   How to Adopt Me! If you are interested in learning more about me, and possibly making me part of your family, please go to  wagoninn.rescuegroups.org . Click on the orange Online Adoption Application button to fill out an application. A Wag On Inn volunteer will be in touch soon! Story
Between July 8th and 31st my adoption fee is sponsored! Thanks to the Bissell Pet Foundation's Empty the Shelters campaign, my new family can take me home for only $25! Please apply online to start the adoption process-- I can't wait to meet you! Are you looking for a playful, energetic, gentle and loving companion? Look no further! Know is a 1.5 year old mixed breed weighing in around 50 lbs. Knox loves to play and is always ready for a game of fetch or tug of war. He loves exploring the great outdoors with his humans by his side, followed by a cozy cuddle on the couch to relax at the end of the day. He's a shining star when it comes to leash manners making strolls through the neighborhood a pleasure. He's a quick learner and is incredibly adaptable and confident despite his hearing loss. He knows several hand signal commands including sit, stay, come, crate, shake a paw, down, etc. He came from a home where he was spending long hours in a crate with medication. He's now working towards crate training without meds and is building his comfort level and amount of time he's able to spend in the crate at a time. Knox would thrive in a home where he can have a fenced backyard to run and play, as well as someone who is home regularly to help him continue to work on crate training. He loves kids and would do well with older kids that would be less likely to startle him from behind. He likes playing with other dogs, though may be best in a home where he is able to get your undivided love and attention. In return he promises to be a devoted and affectionate companion who will bring endless joy to your life. Knox is currently being fostered in Jackson, NJ. His adoption fee is $425. To adopt this pet, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, fully up to date on vaccinations, including rabies (if age appropriate) and Bordetella, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Introducing Brockton, a 5 month old border collie mix weighing about 25 pounds. When meeting Brockton you will immediately notice his striking eyes and sweet demeanor. Brockton is a bundle of love! His ideal day would be spent by going out on walk, cuddling on the couch, and playing with some doggie friends. Brockton enjoys playing with toys, specifically rope toys but he'll be happy with anything! Brockton walks extremely well on a leash and adapts quickly to new situations. He is doing fantastic with house training, as long as he is kept in a constant schedule. Brockton sleeps through the night in his crate with no issues.
