Story
Meet Scout: Australian Cattle Dog Mix | High Energy | People Lover Scout is an amazing dog who deserves an active home where he can thrive. He's smart, affectionate, and has never shown aggression toward people; just the opposite. He loves to snuggle, play fetch, chase frisbees, and would be perfect for hiking and outdoor adventures. Why we're rehoming: Scout has resource-guarded food around our other dog a few times (never breaking skin, but concerning with young kids around). His constant high energy has also impacted our older dog's quality of life. Scout adores his brother, but Copper just wants peace. What Scout needs: An active owner who can provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He'd do best as an only dog or with a high-energy playmate. He's the type of dog you can take everywhere! 15-20 years ago, he would've been my dream dog. Scout is loyal, loving, and ready to be someone's perfect adventure partner. With the right home, he'll be absolutely incredible!

Story
Meet Lilly Beth Lilly Beth is a happy-go-lucky girl with a confident spirit and a loyal heart. She enjoys exploring her surroundings, keeping an eye on her people, and being part of an active home where she can feel useful and secure. She is spayed, house trained, and crate trained, and she does well respecting fencing and boundaries. Lilly Beth is also polite indoors and prefers to potty outside, though she will use potty pads if needed. Lilly Beth has been around horses and does well in rural or country-style environments. She can be dog selective, so a meet-and-greet is required to ensure a good match. While she generally respects fencing, she is athletic and can clear a 40' gate if she feels there is a perceived threat, so a secure yard and attentive handler are important. Stout and sturdy for her size, Lilly Beth is a strong, capable girl who would thrive with an experienced adopter who understands confident dogs and values structure, consistency, and companionship. Lilly Beth would do best in a home that offers: • Secure fencing • Proper introductions to other dogs • An adopter who appreciates a protective, loyal companion • Space to explore and stretch her legs If you’re looking for a devoted sidekick with personality, confidence, and heart, Lilly Beth may be the perfect addition to your family. Apply to adopt Lilly Beth today and give this wonderful girl the forever home she deservesVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 28, 2026, 5:07 pm

Story
Meet Cash, a senior Cattle Dog mix with a calm, steady presence that instantly puts everyone at ease. This easygoing gentleman has perfected the art of laid-back living—he’s quiet, gentle, and happiest just being part of the rhythm of your day. Cash enjoys his daily walks and loves spending time outside taking in all the sights and smells. He can be a little stubborn when his nose leads the way, but it only adds to his charm. Inside the house, Cash most loves spending time with his people snuggled up on the couch, getting as much love as he can get. Cash thinks he's a lap dog, but again, that only adds to his charming personality! He’s wonderful with other dogs, completely housetrained, and comfortable in a crate. If you’re looking for a mellow companion who’s content to stroll by your side, relax at your side, and bring a peaceful kind of joy into your home, Cash is your guy. Cash is heartworm positive, but please do not let that scare you away from giving him a loving home. We provide guidance and his medications will travel with him to his forever home. Cash is fostered in Pottstown (Montgomery County), Pennsylvania and will be able to join a family on or after 12/6/25. www.mostlymuttz.org https://facebook.com/mostlymuttz Cash is in our Meet Me Program: Dogs featured in our Meet Me Program are participating simply because their foster or a dedicated volunteer is willing and able to take part—this is not based on breed, personality, behavior, or how long a dog has been waiting for a home. Because Mostly Muttz Rescue does not have a physical shelter location, this program allows adopters to connect directly with the people who know each dog best. It’s a great opportunity to ask questions, learn more about daily life with the dog, and even schedule an individual meet & greet at an approved location—either before applying or while your application is pending. To get started, email meet_me@mostlymuttz.org with your contact information, and the dog’s foster or volunteer will be in touch. Story
COURTESY POST:  Maggie is a sweet dog who loves spending her days lounging around or going for short walks. She is a laid back girl who is happy to lay out back or post up on a couch in the sunlight all day long. Maggie is quite the hunter and mouser so if you have a mouse issue and are not interested in owning a cat Maggie, will handle the mice for you.   She walks perfectly on a leash and says hi well to other dogs. She is however dog selective within her own house and would do best with a confident dog or another dog who is also laid back.   Maggie is a people dog. She loves every person she meets and knows no strangers. She is fully house broken and has no interest in chewing anything up.   She is 8 and she is truly a mixed breed. We have no idea mix of what, but we have been told by the vet and trainer she is likely a cattle dog mixed with a hound.   If you are interested in Maggie please contact Haley at 6103315394 (tel:6103315394) .March 6, 2025, 10:24 am

Story
Birdie is an adorable 4 year old cattle dog mix. Due to no fault of her own, she is looking for a new home or a foster home. Her current mom says she is too much for the toddlers in the house with her herding behavior. She would do best in a home with older children and larger dogs. No cats for this herding dog!! She is house-trained, UTD on vaccines and spayed.  If you are interested in adoption or fostering, please reach out to sheplover5@aol.com for more information or go to our site to fill out an adoption application at the below link. Meet Stormy – The Silver Stunner At 1.5 years old and 36 pounds, this gorgeous girl is the perfect mix of mystery and magic. Cattle dog mix? Pomsky mix? Space wolf? Honestly… your guess is as good as ours but whatever she is, she’s absolutely breathtaking. With her silver‑gray coat and piercing, soulful eyes, she turns heads everywhere she goes. Found as a stray with no ID, she came to us for a fresh start and she has made it clear she is ready for her new home. She’s a happy, playful, joyful pup who loves fun, loves people, and has a personality as stunning as her looks. If you’re looking for a dog who’s equal parts sparkle, spirit, and snuggles, this gorgeous girl is your perfect match! She will come spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. If you are serious about adoption, please fill out the adoption application on our website www.phoenixanimalrescue.com Her adoption fee is $525.
