Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Cinnamon! 35lbs and full of the need to cuddle, Cinnamon is a precious gal searching for her forever spot to lay.   We don't think Cinnamon had the best start to life, but somehow she still LOVES people.  Cuddles and pets are her top 2 favorite things, naps are her 3rd.  When her foster mom can't find her it's because she decided to snuggle up on the couch and just hang out by herself. Cinnamon is looking for a quiet family who is home more often than not.  She does fine with other dogs but would probably prefer to be an only dog since that means she'll get the most attention.  Apply for Cinnamon at allieshaven.org!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 29, 2023, 7:24 pm

Story
Meet Star! This spunky, sweet Border Collie mix is the perfect combination of energy and affection. Star plays great with other dogs, whether it's at the local dog park or here at the shelter in play group time! She has even lived with other dogs before and done well. She can be a little shy getting to know new people and being around other dogs gives her confidence! She also enjoys spending time outside, whether its at the dog park, in a back yard where she can squirrel watch and sunbathe, or on a walk where she can sniff and explore!Star is very smart and knows commands for "sit" and "down" (and is getting better at doing "sit," even when excited). She likes puzzles and bully sticks and stuffed squeaky toys. She enjoys getting treats and toys and would likely learn a lot more tricks with training! If you want to come meet this tail-wagging, snuggly, sweet gal, come and visit her today from 11am-7pm at 3201 Earhart Drive, Carrollton, Texas 75006!Star is eligible for a 7-day trial adoption through our Foster First program. This program gives you and our pets time to ensure it's a great match before finalizing the adoption. If interested in fostering through our Foster First Program, come to our Earhart shelter location for a meet and greet and to sign up to be a foster. https://www.operationkindness.org/foster/

SWEET SWEET SWEET! Found as a stray dumped in the country. Amazingly, Finn has a great temperament and has been evaluated by an accredited behaviorist. He passed all his tests with flying colors. We are happy to share her evaluation with any prospective family. Finn is about 3 years old, neutered, current on vaccinations, hw negative and microchipped. He is learning about toys in his foster home and how to live inside. Finn LOVES people! He kissed the vet, the tech, and everyone in the waiting room at the vet clinic. Finn is very smart and catches on quickly to what you are teaching him. He will make a fabulous addition to the right family. For more information on adopting Finn, please email can.adoptions@yahoo.com or call 903-967-3226.

Story
Meet adorable little Kirby. She is 2.5 months old and weighs 6 lbs. She was found as a stray at a local park, so we have no idea about her heritage, but we are guessing that she could be a Border Collie/Beagle mix, emphasis on guessing. Foster mom says that Kirby is super sweet and cuddly. She loves people and other dogs. At night, she loves to sleep snuggled up to the resident big dog. Since Kirby is so young, she will do better in a home with another friendly dog who will help her feel more secure. If she will be an only puppy, she needs an adopter who is home most of the time. Housetraining is a work in progress, but she is food and treat motivated, so she should learn quickly if a little treat is offered as a reward. If you are interested in meeting Kirby, please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

ADOPT ME HERE (click on or copy and paste link into web browser): https://tinyurl.com/ycknepseHello! I am Oscar and I am about 11 months old. My previous family surrendered me because I grew up and became too strong for them. I'm still fairly new at the shelter but I am a smart boy who could learn to walk well on the leash easily. The staff here said they had no problem walking me so maybe I just need some consistency with my commands. I'm very picky about my dog friends, so I would appreciate a proper introduction. I am vaccinated, wormed, microchipped, heartworm negative, had flea treatment applied, and sterilized. If you are interested in adopting me, please copy and paste the link above into your web browser and fill out an adoption application. I cannot wait to meet you!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.*****Courtesy Post***** please contact the foster directly for additional information.  These sweet girls were found by their rescuer in a barn stall at the end of September, two days apart, we assume they’re littermates. Their foster has had them fully vetted and been caring for them while trying to find forever homes.  They're typical puppies and spend their days sleeping, eating, chewing, and playing. House training is going well (they make noise when they need to go out), are very good at taking treats from people, comfortable with being held, and are good at the vet. Both girls get along with other dogs and are currently living with three much larger dogs in their foster home. They do not need to be adopted together. If interested, please contact Ric at rjbonner@yahoo.com for additional information. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 29, 2023, 7:24 pm
