When was found abandoned on the streets. She was very fearful. She has really come out of her shell since she’s been here. She was alone and starving but now she’s sweet and her belly is full. She loves to be around people. She seems fine around other dogs as well. Poor Gwen. She went to the vet and possibly has cancer. She needs a hospice type home. *** She has been transferred to PAWS in white settlement***

Story
Meet Ronnie – A Loyal Companion Looking for His Perfect Yard Ronnie has been part of my family since he was just 3 months old, and he’s grown into one of the smartest, most loving dogs you could ever meet. Now 12 (born in 2014), he still has great energy and loves to walk, run, and stay active. He’s happiest outdoors, spending his days in a yard exploring and enjoying the fresh air, but he also comes inside when it’s cold. Ronnie has the intelligence and personality that make Border Collies so special and would thrive with someone who understands the breed. This is incredibly hard for me, but I’m moving out of state and won’t be able to provide the yard he needs. He deserves space, freedom, and love. If you have a yard and a big heart, please consider giving Ronnie the home he deserves.

Story
Starfire is a very sweet and affectionate girl, who’s estimated to be 1 year old. She came to us with a lot of anxiety and has really improved. We really have grown to love her, but really needs to be the only dog in the home, as she can get a bit snarky and territorial with other dogs. She has developed food aggression with our other dog and will snap at her over even the tiniest food wrapper. She is young and may continue to improve with the right environment and training, but I am just not able to provide it due to having to care for a disabled adult child and a an aging parent whose health has recently declined.Starfire loves adults and kids, enjoys walks, being outside with her humans, belly rubs and treats. We are working on potty training and she alerts to go out and will use potty pads inside, but doesn’t go outside for more than a few minutes without a human just yet, likely due to anxiety. She loves to be the center of attention. She is current on heartworm/flea prevention.
