Story
2.5 year old, high energy herding dog with no where to put all this energy. She loves to have a task or mission and loves to learn new tricks for treats. She knows sit, stand, circle, lay down, wait, touch (nose to hand), hand (paw in hand), bring it back (fetch). She is stubborn but will listen when she wants to or if given a good treat. She had a rough start in life, living outside competing with a dozen other puppies. This shows in her behavior, getting anxious at things happening she doesn’t understand or snarling in her crate as she eats her food. She is house trained, crate trained, and has experience being in fenced in yards or on a leash tie out with supervision. She is a good girl and wants to be praised. She doesn”t like much petting but wants some firm butt pats. She needs a good home where she can have more space and attention. She loves to play fetch with small Chuckit balls. I am highly allergic to her and need to find her a good home for both of us.

I am Ruby! my foster mama says I love to snuggle, I liked being in her sweatshirt but now she says I can't fit in there with her because I am a big girl. I don't feel like a big girl, I still like to snuggle like before. I like my toys and my siblings, but I sure would like to find my forever home. I am learning to do some fancy tricks, besides being in the sweatshirt. I am told I am a "good girl" and get these special yummy treats when I am told this... Can you see if I am a "good girl" for you too?

♥&#239&#184&#143 Meet Cassie, a gentle, resilient tripod ready for her second chance    Cassie’s life changed in an instant. She was found running loose in a subdivision off Cockrell Hill after multiple neighborhood dogs had already been hit by cars. With police assistance, TexasACR stepped in, and learned Cassie had not only been struck, but had previously been hit with a bat by a neighbor.   Despite all she endured, Cassie never lost her sweetness.   Her leg was so severely damaged that surgeons had no choice but to amputate. She handled surgery like a champ and has recovered beautifully, now navigating life as a tripod with ease, joy, and confidence.   Today, Cassie is safe in foster care and thriving. She is house trained, rides wonderfully in the car, loves to play, and has a gentle, loving personality. She has been wonderful with people and other dogs, and her forgiving spirit is nothing short of inspiring. Judge is a one and one/half year old heeler. He loves people, other dogs, really anything and anyone who will spend time with him and play with him. He is completely vaccinated, recent rabies shot, on flea prevention tablets, dewormed, etc. He has been neutered. Judge really is a sweetheart, super friendly, and needs/wants an active owner who will spend time with him and keep him busy.
