Story
Meet Korat, a playful and curious pup bursting with energy, charm, and a heart full of love. She’s always on the move—chasing her favorite squeaky toy, enjoying a good chew session, or splashing around in the water hose, one of her favorite pastimes! Korat loves to run and play with other dogs and brings a joyful, silly bounce to everything she does. Her tail never stops wagging, and she’s happiest when she’s right by your side, soaking up all the attention and affection you’re willing to give. She’s also a wonderful walking companion, especially through the park, where she greets passing people and dogs with her usual sweet nature. And when the car door opens? Korat’s already ready—she loves hopping in for a ride, ears flapping and nose twitching as she takes in the world around her. Her foster shares, “Once it’s time for bed, she lays down as close to you as possible and gives the best cuddles.” With her love for treats, friendly personality, and snuggly heart, Korat is ready to bring laughter and warmth into any home. Come and meet her today! She is a 11m old, Female, Mixed Breed, medium (up to 44 lbs fully grown) mix. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations and preventions. Story
Hardy is looking for a behavior foster so we can learn more about his personality and give him a break from shelter life. He previously lived in a home, so he should have experience with potty training. He knows quite a few commands, enjoys going on walks around the neighborhood, and loves to snuggle up on the couch. Reason for Foster: BehaviorFoster Time Frame: Minimum 2 Weeks Foster Care Plan: Hardy will go to his foster home with medication to help him feel more calm and to make the transition to a new environment a little easier. We strongly suggest that he goes to a home with no children under 12 and no other dogs. A consultation with our behavior team will be provided at your pickup appointment to ensure you are well prepared to care for this adorable boy.

SWEET SWEET SWEET! Found as a stray dumped in the country. Amazingly, Finn has a great temperament and has been evaluated by an accredited behaviorist. He passed all his tests with flying colors. We are happy to share her evaluation with any prospective family. Finn is about 3 years old, neutered, current on vaccinations, hw negative and microchipped. He is learning about toys in his foster home and how to live inside. Finn LOVES people! He kissed the vet, the tech, and everyone in the waiting room at the vet clinic. Finn is very smart and catches on quickly to what you are teaching him. He will make a fabulous addition to the right family. Story
My name is Fiona and I am a sweet bundle of energy! I am a very loyal companion who wants all your attention and absolutely love children! Although I sometimes have to be reminded not to jump I’m getting better at that. I am not a fan of cats when they run. It makes me want to chase them. I am more fond of women sometimes men can scare me at first, but once I get to know them and with a few treats I’ll be your best friend. I enjoy being around dogs. Except I don’t care for dogs with high energy like me. It makes me nervous. I really love to go on runs and I love my toys. I love chew toys. It feels good on my puppy teeth and I love stuffy toys. I do better in my crate after I’ve had plenty of exercise and if you have dogs at home meeting them first would make me feel better. I absolutely love water. My foster mom bought me my own kitty pool and it’s my favorite thing to do besides following around my foster mama. I’ve been living with two children, age two and seven and I love my foster kids. When I finally am awake I am a big cuddle bug. I like to give hugs and kisses if you let me, I am a big baby with a huge heart of gold! I’ve also got to spend time with some of my foster mom‘s dogs, and I do well with dogs who won’t make me feel intimidated I’ve not been around farm animals and since I want to chase foster mom’s kitties, she doesn’t think cats or farm animals are the best for me. A family with kids and maybe the right dog would be my perfect fit as I don’t like to be left alone for too long, but I do sleep at night now in my crate. It’s really big crate with plenty of space to not feel so isolated and my mom plays music for me and I love it. It helps soothe me when I am too excited. I’m not really bothered by thunderstorms or fireworks although I wouldn’t want to be taken to a firework show. I actually stay calm if I can hear them while inside. I love to talk/bark when I get excited my tail wags like crazy and I will do spins in circles to show you how cute and smart I am. I catch on pretty quickly to routines and overall just want to be around my people. I know my perfect home is out there and would love to meet you to see if you are the one. Puppy kisses Fiona ♥️ 🐾 If interested in adopting Fiona, please fill out our adoption application: info@salvagedsoulspetrescue.org.

Story
Meet Jasper! A soulful three-and-a-half-year-old Border Collie/Rottweiler mix currently in Colorado Springs, CO, whose calm, loving heart is wrapped in a stunning 70-pound merle coat. With the gentle spirit of a wise old friend and the quiet loyalty of a true companion, Jasper is the kind of dog who will melt into your side on a cozy evening and follow you room to room just to be close. Jasper thrives in peaceful surroundings and forms deep, meaningful bonds with his people. He does well around children and enjoys their company, but he would do best with calm or older kids who understand boundaries and know how to treat him gently. Loud or high-energy play can make him uneasy, so a respectful home environment will help him feel safe and content. He’s a mellow guy who doesn’t need much to be happy: a soft spot to relax, the comforting presence of his caregiver, and maybe a treat puzzle or two to keep his brain engaged. Food-motivated and clever, Jasper knows a delightful list of commands like sit, stay, paw, spin, and even “middle”, a trick that’s as cute as it sounds! He’s fully house-trained, crate-trained, and perfectly content when left alone, making him a great match for someone who works from home or has a flexible schedule. While Jasper doesn’t require intense exercise, he does enjoy slow, sniffy walks where he can take in the world at his own pace. His favorite pastime? Being in the same room as you, soaking up your presence like sunshine! After being involved in two traumatic incidents with unfamiliar dogs, one when he was a puppy and another more recently, Jasper has developed a strong reactivity to dogs he doesn't know. He may bark or lunge when he sees them, especially near fences or in close proximity, and he continues to work through that with training and patient support. That said, he’s done well with familiar dogs in controlled settings, showing that he can feel safe with the right structure and trust. He’s happiest in a home with a fenced-in yard and a caregiver who values companionship, consistency, and quiet. Loud noises can startle him, but with reassurance, he settles easily. Jasper isn’t just a dog, he’s a constant companion, a quiet presence, and a gentle soul waiting for someone to see the beauty in his sensitive heart. If you’re seeking a loyal, low-key friend who will return your care with quiet affection and soulful eyes, Jasper may just be the one waiting to share your next chapter!
