Dunn is looking for a loving foster home where they can rest and recover while receiving medical treatment. Reason for Foster: Upper Respiratory Infection (URI) Foster Time Frame: Approximately 2 Weeks ( Recheck 7/3)(The foster timeframe may vary depending on recovery and any follow-up medical needs.) Foster Care Plan: Dunn is being treated for an upper respiratory infection, which is similar to a common cold. While recovering, they may have symptoms such as sneezing, congestion, and nasal/eye discharge. Because URI can be contagious to other dogs, we recommend keeping them separated from resident dogs until they have fully recovered.They will go home with medication and all the supplies needed for their care. Once treatment is complete, they will return to Operation Kindness for their spay/neuter surgery and adoption. How to take this pet home:Adopt: Dunn is available through our Foster-to-Adopt Program, which allows prospective adopters to take pets home before they are available for adoption.Visit Operation Kindness and speak with our Client Services team. SWEET SWEET SWEET! Found as a stray dumped in the country. Amazingly, Finn has a great temperament and has been evaluated by an accredited behaviorist. He passed all his tests with flying colors. We are happy to share her evaluation with any prospective family. Finn is about 3 years old, neutered, current on vaccinations, hw negative and microchipped. He is learning about toys in his foster home and how to live inside. Finn LOVES people! He kissed the vet, the tech, and everyone in the waiting room at the vet clinic. Finn is very smart and catches on quickly to what you are teaching him. He will make a fabulous addition to the right family. With the gentle spirit of a wise old friend and the quiet loyalty of a true companion, Jasper is the kind of dog who will melt into your side on a cozy evening and follow you room to room just to be close. He does well around children and enjoys their company, but he would do best with calm or older kids who understand boundaries and know how to treat him gently. Maverick is a very sweet boy. He is crate trained and potty trained. We have young kids and unfortunately Maverick doesn’t do very well with them. He is high energy and needs a lot of room to run around or someone who is very active and able to take him on runs. He is extremely fast and any sort of agility training also would be helpful. He is a purebred border collie so hunting and running are so natural to him. We want him to be happier at a new place that will be as active as him. We have a crate to give along with treats and toys.

Firu is a sweet boy who loves his snuggles and his people. He is a 7 year old border collie mix. We found him on the side of the road in Austin when he was around 11 months old, and we could not locate his previous owners. He can get along with other dogs after a very slow introduction but displays food aggression, so he would be better suited as an only pet. He is extremely food motivated and smart. He can figure out all the lever door handles. He likes to run in the yard and hang out with his people. We are so sad to have to rehome our pup after 7 years, but unfortunately, he needs a family without children as he has bite history when they have gotten in his face. While he can still see, Firu does have some visual impairment especially in low light or dark spaces. He would be great company for a calm, child-free home as he is a people dog that listens well and likes to be in close proximity to his owners.

Maple came to Humane Tomorrow when she was only one week old, along with her Mom and nine littermates. She is now four months old and ready to be adopted! Maple was born without a front left paw, but foster mom says that doesn't slow her down much. She loves to toss her toys up in the air and catch them, and she enjoys running around the backyard. She gets along with the other dogs and the cat in her foster home. Maple is super sweet. She will follow foster mom around the house and take naps in her lap. She sleeps through the night in her crate and is working on potty training. She will be able to take short walks, and if you take long walks or runs, she would love to ride along in a stroller!
