Story
Kona is the sweetest, cuddly love bug of a dog I have ever had. I rescued her from a broken home where she was left to roam the streets in the snow as a pup. I have had her for about two years and it breaks my heart to have to give her up. She is very energetic and needs a lot of space to run. She is an escape artist and would do well in a yard with high fences. Unfortunately she is our 3rd dog and she has learned how to get out of her new yard and has been chasing the neighbor’s cat. She does very well with other dogs and loves to pounce and play. She loves kids and always tries to lick my 2yr old nephew in the face. If you let her, she will crawl into your lap for cuddles. Kona does well in the house, but I would not leave her alone with your food. She is crate trained but needs leash training. We work long hours and do not have the time to commit to training her the way she needs, but with the right owner she will make a great family dog.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi! I'm little Pedrito, I'm a 22lb, 1 year old bundle of love! I am a pretty shy little boy, still scared of this world - but I love being around loving kind people, and when I'm comfortable and feel safe, I really love to get pets! I am used to the crate and have been a really good boy - I just need a kind, gentle and loving human to help me learn the rest. I love to play with other dogs and would do best with a doggy sibling in my forever home, too! I live with 12 dog friends right now. I even know how to use a dog door! I'm calm and playful, a good mix - I just want to trust and love, will that be you? I would love to meet you and find my forever home! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi there, I’m Mama Bea!  My friends call me Bella. I’m a 6-year-old Border Collie mix and the perfect size at 40 pounds—just right for adventures and snuggles!  I bond quickly with my humans (people are my everything!) and, get this—I don’t bark much. Instead, I’ve got this adorable hum and mumble thing going on when I want something. You’ll hear it soon enough and know exactly what I mean!  As a working dog, I like to stay busy. I’m the ideal trail buddy and, because I’m low to the ground, I'd make an excellent mountain biking companion. Let’s go for daily walks and explore the neighborhood together—oh, and did I mention hikes? Count me in for lots of those!  I’d thrive in a home with school-aged kids (8+). I love affection and attention, but I also like to jump up—so they’ll need to be ready for my enthusiastic love!  I have to admit, I’m pretty curious about cats, but I might chase them, so I’d do best in a home without any. Squirrels in trees though? I could watch them all day long.  I’m a smart girl and already know my basic commands, but I’d love to keep practicing with you. It’s a great way for us to bond and have fun together! I’m house-trained and kennel-trained, though my kennel isn’t my favorite spot. But good news: you can trust me to roam free in the house while you’re out, and I won’t destroy a thing. I’ll happily snooze at the foot of your bed or curl up on the couch for a daytime nap.  I enjoy having dog friends, but let’s be honest—people are my absolute favorite! I’d be happy to share a home with other dogs, though I’m really only interested in playing if there’s a good game of chase involved. Otherwise, I’m all about hanging with my humans. If you think we could be a great match, fill out an adoption application and my foster mom will be in touch! I can’t wait to meet you!   https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 19, 2024, 11:11 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hey Hey! My name is Paulmer and I’m ready for fun! I’ve been in my foster home for a while now, getting ready for adoption. I didn’t know what to think of humans when I first got here, but my foster family has shown me that people are pretty great! Now I’m ready to find my own family. I’m a great adventure buddy. I love car rides and walks, and I’m off-leash trained with my foster mom. It’ll take a minute to get to that point with a new family, but once I do, let’s go all the places and do all the things together! I’ll stay right with you like a good, loyal boy. Also, guess what. I can swim! I’m a certified water dog. Let’s go into the mountains, let’s hike and paddleboard and swim and run – I’m ready! Okay, actually, I’m still kind of shy. I still need some safe exposure and socialization with new things. It will probably take me a while to trust you the way I trust my foster family. But I want you to know, I’m ready for that! I can’t wait to learn to love you. One thing I’m definitely ready for is doggie friends. I’m a great buddy to dogs, so if your dog is looking for a buddy, it might just be me! I’m crate trained and potty trained and ready to meet you. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Howdy there! My name is Kissin Katie and I’m the goodest girl in all the west! At the spry age of a little over 2 years old I’m looking for a new home to lay my head. It would be nice if my new family would take me on adventures like hiking, running, or even just some nice walks! I walk great on a lasso (or leash as my foster mom calls it). I know that we can’t go on an adventure everyday and on those days I’m happy to get my energy out with a game of fetch or an enrichment activity. I would say I’m pretty smart.  I already know basic commands like sit and down and I figured out my foster’s doggy door in just a couple of days. I’m also fully house-trained and great in my crate! It would be such a thrill if my new family wanted to continue my training. After all this work and play nothing would be better than snuggling up with my new family.  I love kids, however, I don’t have a ton of experience with them and if my new family had kids they would need to help me learn the correct way to interact with kids (not stealing toys, trying to get food from hands, etc.). I also haven’t had much experience with cats and so don’t know exactly how I’d interact with them. I’ve been told I’m a Catahoula Leopard Dog, but I’m probably a mix because I’m at the smaller size of that breed at only 40 lbs. If I sound like the girl for you, apply at  https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication .
