I am a pretty shy little boy, still scared of this world - but I love being around loving kind people, and when I'm comfortable and feel safe, I really love to get pets! I am used to the crate and have been a really good boy - I just need a kind, gentle and loving human to help me learn the rest. I love to play with other dogs and would do best with a doggy sibling in my forever home, too! I live with 12 dog friends right now. I even know how to use a dog door! I'm calm and playful, a good mix - I just want to trust and love, will that be you? I would love to meet you and find my forever home! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi there, I’m Mama Bea!  I am a six year old female border collie mix.  I am the perfect size at 45 pounds.     I bond quickly to my human and will talk to you when I want something.  I don’t bark much:  it’s more of a hum and a mumble.  You’ll soon find out what I mean!   Because I am a working dog, I like to keep busy.  I would do best in a home with other dogs.  I will model their behavior and partner with them to get all the important things done!  I love to play in the backyard, or just snoop around.  A backyard for me is a must in my future home.  We should definitely plan on some time everyday to go on walks and check out the neighborhood.   Speaking of exercise, I want to go on lots of hikes with you!   I would do well in a home with school age children (8+) who want to pay me lots of attention.  I’m working on not jumping up, so they need to stand up to my affection.   I am really curious about cats and will chase them, so I would do best in a home without them.  Let me look at the squirrels in the trees all day long!   I am a super smart girl and already know basic obedience.  I’d love to practice it more, in order to form a tight bond with my person.   I am house trained and kennel trained.  My kennel is not my favorite place, but the good news is, you can trust me to be loose in the house, unattended, and I won't destroy anything.  I will sleep at the foot of your bed in a dog bed all night and I you might catch me snoozing on the couch during the day.   I’m a little shy meeting new people at first, but give me a chance and I’ll warm up to you quickly.  If you’d like to meet me, please fill out an application for adoption and my foster mom will get in touch with you:   https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 17, 2024, 7:08 pm

Story
Hi! My name is Raine and I am 1 year and 5 month old Australian Shepard/Border Collie/Pitbull mix. I am a very playful girl who will make you laugh with my silly personality, and my howls! I am shy at first, but once you gain my trust I am extremely loving and cuddly. I am also very loyal, I will follow you wherever you go! I don’t do well with other dogs right away, I need someone who will take the time to let me warm up to other dogs by going on pack walks. I have been able to make other dog friends by doing this! I will do best in a home with no other animals. I LOVE to go on adventures, especially paddle boarding and hiking. On-leash days in Millcreek canyon are my favorite because I’m able to enjoy the outdoors without other dogs getting in my space! I also love the snow, I could roll and play in it all day long! I am spayed, up-to-date on my vaccinations, crate-trained and potty trained.
