Story
Hello everyone! I'm helping to spread the word for a friend of mine thats trying to find a good home for this sweet dog. My friend who's an older lady had temporarily taken in this dog when her daughter & family initially lost their home. My friend's daughter & her family can no longer care for this pooch and my friend ( again who's older ) can't care for her anymore. This is a sweet dog, female, about 5ish years old. She is spayed, however I'm not 100% sure if she's microchipped or how current she is on her shots. She currently has no shot records. She is house trained and is good with other dogs, cats, and children. I will say she can be needy, clingy, and demand quite a bit of attention. She has alot of energy ( one of the reasons why my older friend can't care for her anymore ). Her name was initially Snowflake, but my friend renamed her Shadow. But this pooch seems to answer to anything since she's so eager to please. Thank you! :]

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This is Ily! Which is short for I love you, because we guarantee she does, Ily knows no strangers! This sweet girl is 55 pounds of pure goodness! Ily is for sure an intelligent mixed breed, our best guess is some sort of a cattle dog/border collie mix. She would be a fun girl to get a DNA test for!   As afore mentioned Ily loves EVERYONE! She has yet to meet kids, but would likely be a huge fan. Ily does really well with her foster dog siblings she is usually submissive with them and has great and respectful body language when asking to play. Ily is house broken and crate trained! She quickly figured out the doggy door and is always a good girl about taking herself out to go potty.    Ily’s favorite activities are playing with other dogs, chewing on her toys on a fat fluffy bed, and tossing them around the house so she can pounce on them (as far as we know she has no cat DNA in her bloodline), and getting all the loves.    Ily has been really great at practicing not jumping up when she is struggling to contain her excitement to see you. Ily runs into her crate on command and knows how to sit. Ily loves food and is extremely treat motivated in her training. She is learning the leash and always improving!   Ily has yet to meet a cat but would likely adjust to living with them in the right home. Ily needs love, walks, and good structure in her home and she will flourish. This lady is a delightful companion!   If you’re looking for a special valentine this year then apply to meet Ily @ https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 21, 2026, 1:14 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This special and darling girl is “Flopsy Pants” but we call her “Milly”. She is a 7-year-old female and is currently winning on a weight loss journey. Although likely mixed with a smaller breed (Border Collie) Milly lived in a home that unfortunately overfed her and didn’t take her out for exercise and this caused Milly to gain a LOT of weight. Her previous owner said she was a lazy dog and didn’t like to get out and be active. We are pleased to announce that since coming into her foster home she has lost 15 pounds and is continuing to drop weight, she is currently 92 pounds but still has some more work to do. Contrary to what we were told, Milly LOVES to be active! This girl’s favorite activities are hiking, playing (and lying) in streams, running around the park, and playing in a kiddy pool in the backyard. She can happily nap at home but truly loves to get outside, she has a perfect energy level. She does great with hopping into the car and riding quietly. Milly does well with almost any dog she meets, she is polite and friendly, a lovely disposition. Milly is beautifully housetrained and uses a dog door to take herself out to go potty. Although Milly has been crate trained, she loves to sleep in her lush bed with the rest of the pack. Milly is at a wonderful mellow age where she is not destructive in a home. She is a great guard dog and will alert you if a stranger is coming but warms right up to new people. Milly is fantastic with respectful kids! She has had a lot of exposure in her life to all ages of children. She is a favorite among her foster mom’s grandkids (sometimes they come over just to see Milly). Milly does good on a leash and even gets walked by the grandkids. Milly would likely have no issues living with a cat We've held on to Milly her extra-long because her foster mom has cancer and Milly has been such a sweet comfort; concernedly walking her mom from room to room and sticking to her bedside whenever she lays down so that her soft ears are always within reach. Her foster mom is finally ready to have Milly move onto her home forever. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and just had her teeth cleaned and examined by the vet! She is excited and ready to be adopted into a wonderful home. If you are looking for one of the sweetest, most ideal dogs around, you can provide a loving home with exercise and a healthy amount of food, then come meet Milly AKA Flopsy Pants! Milo is a cutie that loves to play ball. My daughter rescued him from her father’s home where he lived with and got along with 2 smaller dogs. He is about 11 years old. He does not get along well with my large husky and my daughter has moved out of state. We are hoping to find him a home where he can be himself and loved.

Story
Meet Benito – Your Happy-Go-Lucky Adventure Buddy! Basic Info: Name: Benito Breed: Border Collie / Australian Cattle Dog Mix Sex: Male DOB: April 10, 2022 Weight: 46 lbs Intake Date: April 9, 2024 Personality – Happy, Playful & Full of Zest: Benito is pure sunshine on four paws! Always ready to play, explore, or lean in for a pet, he’s got an infectiously joyful personality that will keep a smile on your face. He loves interactive games, running around the yard, and getting belly rubs. Benito thrives on connection and fun—he’s a dog who wants to be in the middle of the action and part of the family. With him, every day is a new adventure. Breed Information: As a mix of Border Collie and Australian Cattle Dog, Benito is naturally intelligent, alert, and active. These working breeds are known for their stamina, loyalty, and sharp minds. Benito will benefit from regular physical exercise and mental stimulation to keep him balanced and happy. Puzzle toys, training sessions, and active play will help him shine. He’s eager to learn and eager to please! Owner Responsibilities: Provide daily exercise: walks, play, fetch, or dog sports Offer mental stimulation through training, puzzles, and games Use positive reinforcement training—Benito is smart and responsive Maintain regular veterinary care and vaccinations Ensure he’s part of the family, not left alone for long periods Provide structure, patience, and love Create a safe, indoor home environment Commitment for Life: Benito is not a short-term companion—he's a lifelong partner. Adopting him means committing to his care, well-being, and happiness for all of his days. He needs a family that understands that dogs are not disposable—they are forever. In return, Benito will give you loyalty, laughter, and love every single day. Do Not Leash Your Dog Outside Unattended: Benito should never be tied up or left outdoors alone. He needs companionship, safety, and interaction. Tethering a dog outside is not only dangerous but also deeply unfair to a social, intelligent dog like Benito. He deserves to be inside, where he can be close to his people and thrive. Why Adopt Benito? Because Benito brings joy wherever he goes. He’s playful without being overwhelming, smart without being stubborn, and affectionate without being clingy. He’s the perfect match for an active individual or family who wants a loyal sidekick with a big heart. Adopt Benito and experience the happiness of having a dog who truly loves life—and loves you.
