Story
Meet the beautiful Bessie Mae! She is currently 17 pounds, is only 2.5 months old, and we think she may be a Border Collie/Lab mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Bessie Mae’s video here: Bessie Mae is currently in a loving foster home with her sister Elsa Anna, with several small kids and lots of other dogs (and a few cats too, that they mostly just ignore). Both Bessie Mae and her sister are extremely well socialized, friendly and outgoing, and gentle and loving. Bessie’s foster mum confirms that Bessie is the party-starter personality – she has the inquisitiveness and curiosity of a playful dynamo, but is also mellow enough that she will roll over and hold that position until you give her the belly rubs that she clearly desires, lol. (She will stay right there in position until you do, and we admire and support this adorable dedication!) Bessie is well on the path to potty training and does well in her crate, so this clever girl is learning all the right things! Sweet, soft Bessie is quite the cuddlebug and is quite used to being smooshed and squished and getting all the love you can offer. Bessie is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, she will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/66be09fec6495848fe088302 Please email tim@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $825.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi! I'm little Pedrito, I'm a 22lb, 1 year old bundle of love! I am a pretty shy little boy, still scared of this world - but I love being around loving kind people, and when I'm comfortable and feel safe, I really love to get pets! I am used to the crate and have been a really good boy - I just need a kind, gentle and loving human to help me learn the rest. I love to play with other dogs and would do best with a doggy sibling in my forever home, too! I live with 12 dog friends right now. I even know how to use a dog door! I'm calm and playful, a good mix - I just want to trust and love, will that be you? I would love to meet you and find my forever home! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi there, I’m Mama Bea!  I am a six year old female border collie mix.  I am the perfect size at 45 pounds.     I bond quickly to my human and will talk to you when I want something.  I don’t bark much:  it’s more of a hum and a mumble.  You’ll soon find out what I mean!   Because I am a working dog, I like to keep busy.  I would do best in a home with other dogs.  I will model their behavior and partner with them to get all the important things done!  I love to play in the backyard, or just snoop around.  A backyard for me is a must in my future home.  We should definitely plan on some time everyday to go on walks and check out the neighborhood.   Speaking of exercise, I want to go on lots of hikes with you!   I would do well in a home with school age children (8+) who want to pay me lots of attention.  I’m working on not jumping up, so they need to stand up to my affection.   I am really curious about cats and will chase them, so I would do best in a home without them.  Let me look at the squirrels in the trees all day long!   I am a super smart girl and already know basic obedience.  I’d love to practice it more, in order to form a tight bond with my person.   I am house trained and kennel trained.  My kennel is not my favorite place, but the good news is, you can trust me to be loose in the house, unattended, and I won't destroy anything.  I will sleep at the foot of your bed in a dog bed all night and I you might catch me snoozing on the couch during the day.   I’m a little shy meeting new people at first, but give me a chance and I’ll warm up to you quickly.  If you’d like to meet me, please fill out an application for adoption and my foster mom will get in touch with you:   https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 8, 2024, 4:58 pm

Story
Our titer biter, we’re moving to another country and are unable to take him with us. We’re so sad and have had him up for adoption for awhile now. He’s a high energy boy, loves to run and play. He’s a quick learner too. He does basic commands, sit, stay, heal but as he is still about a year and a half year old he sometimes loses his training when new people come around. He gets better everyday. We love him and hope he’ll find a good place to go
