Story
Obi is a cuddle bug. He has a goofy spirit - he'll chase a laser pointer dot for hours, stare at reflective light splotches on the wall, and fetch a ball until he drops. He'll be your own personal vacuum for crumbs and little kitchen spills. He also loves on people by licking anything he can reach. He knows all the basic commands and responds well to kissing noises and snapping fingers. He's house trained and kennel trained (though he does whine for the first little while in the kennel). He loves other cats and dogs, sometimes too much - he'll follow them closely and some animals don't like that. He'll get excited and chase people around if they're getting rowdy - if he gets too excited, he'll try to nip at people's heels, so he needs to be watched if people are getting riled up. Otherwise, he'll follow you around all day and just wants to be with you and ask for pets.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hello, I’m Princess Buttercup, though my foster mom just calls me Shelly. I’m a 9-year-old mixed-breed pup, and I weigh 35 lbs. I'm the sweetest girl you’ve ever met. I get along great with everyone, and I'm gentle around kids and great with other dogs!  Don’t let that age fool you, I’m a “young" 9 – my foster mom is honestly shocked, she says I don’t look my age at all! For being an older lady, I sure do love to go for long walks!  I recently discovered that I love going out on hikes with my foster mom. It turns out, I’m a fantastic trail dog, if I do say so myself. I stay close to my foster mom and come to her when I’m called. I’m a low-energy pup for the most part, but I do have my “bouncy moments,” as my foster mom likes to call them. These are times when I’m excited about something, but I calm back down easily if you ask. When I meet my friends down at the park, I engage in some high-energy play too, though I need someone who will supervise playtime, cause if another dog is too pushy, I can get a bit upset and would love for my person to step in and help me out. Though for the most part, I get on just fine.  I can sit, lie down, and shake on command. Other than that, I’m fully potty trained, sleep quietly in my bed all night long, and I’m not a pup you’d have to worry about chewing up the house. I’m happy to lie around and nap while you are away. I’ll be thrilled to go on a walk when you get home, though. I just love going for walks! Then I’m happy to snuggle up with you for the evening. I’m a pro at cuddles.  The perfect placement for me would be with a nice, calm person or family, because I can be shy sometimes and a little sensitive to loud environments. I’d love to go with someone who is into outdoor activities like hiking and camping. I just love being outdoors, and I’m the perfect dog to bring along because of how calm and mindful I am to stay near my people. I’m a no-fuss kinda dog! I also wouldn’t mind siblings, human or dog, but I would prefer dogs with lower energy. Quick highlights about me: -   Small, convenient size, perfect for apartments and small vehicles – I love car rides! -   Quiet, I mean I am a dog, I do bark, but never in excess. -   Responsible, leaving for work? I’ll keep an eye on the place. It will be just as you left it! -   Expert cuddle dog. There isn’t a bad day that I can’t help with.   -   Outdoorsy – let’s go on so many adventures together! -   Sweet, loving, well-behaved – you can confidently bring me to any place that dogs are allowed.  Are you the outdoor enthusiast I’m looking for? I can’t wait to meet you. Bentley is tons of fun and then some! This silly guy likes to play fetch, bite water from the hose, and go on walks. Bentley is also affectionate and will cuddle up to you after he's done rolling in the grass. Bentley has previously lived with another dog successfully, though he likes to have his own space when he eats. Bentley has enjoyed doggy playgroups here at HSU and dog parks in his previous home. He loves to play chase and feels most comfy with dogs his size or smaller. Come meet this handsome lad at the Humane Society of Utah!

She is super sweet and snuggly would thrive in an only pet home where she doesn`t have to share her love. Julie has successfully gone hiking and in playgroup with other dogs, but we believe she would be best as an only pet in her home.Adoption includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, microchip (including registration), and more.
