Story
**Currently in Marysville, WA!, and available for adoption across Canada, Oregon, Utah, Idaho, and Washington!** 🐾 Meet Oreo! 🐾 Watch me on video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AtQXsDVBH-c Oreo is a really fun and sociable pup who's just as friendly as he is playful. He thrives on interaction, whether it's with people or other animals, making him the perfect companion for a full-of-life household. He is not a high energy dog who needs constant stimulation or exercise, but can definitely get up and go and would enjoy going on adventures. Here is what is foster has to say about this guy: "Oreo Reads the room and can be very calm/lazy. Good office buddy! Does fine in his crate. Big and small dog friendly! Very non- confrontational and will run away if a dog gets crappy with him. He is super sweet and loving. Vocal player. Super smart! Has a very gentle spirit, and very soulful eyes. Such an amazing dog! " Oreo's intelligence shines through in everything he does. He's excellent on a leash, responsive to recall commands, and highly motivated by food, making his training sessions fun and productive. Despite his enthusiasm, he has a submissive and gentle nature with people and other dogs. He is often found lying on his back, eagerly waiting for belly rubs. Playtime is Oreo's favorite time! He loves playing fetch and tug-of-war, and he even learned how to swim this summer, retrieving toys from deep water. He's ready to join you on all your aquatic adventures when the weather warms up. Oreo knows various commands, both verbal and hand signals, and he's generally good with recall—though he can get distracted when other fun playmates are around. He is potty trained and comfortable in his crate, Oreo shows no separation anxiety, though he appreciates having company at home for part of the day. Given his love for running and playing, a home with a fenced yard would be ideal for Oreo, providing him space to expend energy. He manages some skin allergies with a special diet of fish-based kibble and treats, and he's even got a taste for human snacks like raw veggies and coconut whipped cream. If you're looking for a loving, playful, and intelligent companion ready to add joy and adventure to your life, Oreo is your perfect match! Meet him, and let the fun begin! 🐾❤️ Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6570c78c0e1bab335b044a70 Please email jacquelynn@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! Story
Looking for a loyal companion? Meet Mama Angel! She might be your new best friend! This beautiful, bouncy, black beauty weighs 50 pounds and is approximately 2 years old. She is being fostered in Houston, Texas (we transport across the USA) with dogs 7-120 pounds, male and female, and is a favorite of the dog pack. She isn’t a HUGE player, but she does LOVE to run and chase with her 12 pound foster sister. They are so cute to watch, zooming around the house and bouncing from couch to couch. It is like watching a game of hide and seek that you can’t help laughing at. Even though Mama Angel is dog friendly, she would love to be the queen of the house, so we are adopting her out as an only dog. She wants to keep her toys and people to herself! Do not adopt her if you prefer to sit on the couch to drink your coffee alone or watch TV. Every morning when her foster mom comes downstairs she greets her like she has been gone for weeks. She bounces around, wags her tail and wiggles her bottom then races her to the couch to claim her spot next to foster mom while she enjoys her cup of coffee. Evenings after dinner are no different- or anytime Angel thinks her humans are headed to the couch. She loves to sniff your face and stare into your eyes. Angel doesn’t mind going in her crate. We just tell her to “get in bed”, toss in a treat and she will go right in. Once in the crate she is quiet until she hears you come home. Then she makes sure you know she is ready to see you! Potty trained? Yes! She hasn’t had any accidents in her foster’s house where she goes out on a regular schedule. Car rides… Yes! Her foster family had to work on building her confidence so she can go to new places. She is still a little nervous in loud busy environments and will stick close to her people but she has gotten so much better so fast. She needs a family who will continue to help her know she is safe outside the home. She is great on a leash when she is comfortable and in a quiet place like the park. Cat friendly? She does not live with cats, but she has met cats and did not seem interested. If you have a feline in your life we can have her spend more time with a cat to see how she does. If you are looking for a furry angelic love bug to add to your life, apply below and a foster coordinator will reach out to you. Story
It is with a heavy heart that we are having to rehome our 3-year-old border collie mix, Koda. I have loved this dog. We rescued Koda with the intention of him being a forever part of our family, but unfortunately, he isn’t getting along with our other dog and has been showing signs of dominance. Koda does have a few behavioral issues listed below. He needs to be in a single dog home and needs a backyard for his energy! Koda has a lot energy and thrives on mental stimulation and activities. He is kennel trained and will play outside with a ball all day if you’d let him! Absolutely obsessed with fetch, running and playing, this dog will surly get your exercise in! He is a very sweet dog who needs someone to be patient with him. He could use some training. Koda has some anxiety and can whine, has the occasional accident but knows to go outside. He does bark at the fence sometimes. He will come with his kennel and bed, a small bag of his food, his favorite toys, treats, and blanket.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hello I'm Mr. Jack, a well behaved gentleman with impeccable house manners. At the distinguished age of four doggy years old, I'm very calm and easy going. I'm not interested in getting into human things, and I'm very keen on reading the room to find out what is and isn't allowed. You can trust me alone at home without a crate almost right away. Overall, I'm very easy to take care of, and you'll love having me around. Not to brag, but I have an impeccable record of having zero accidents while at home.   I might be a little shy while figuring out my new home. However, I'll be your best friend and won't leave your side once I get to know you. Give me a spot to sleep next to you during the day and I'm a content pup. Just check in once in while. I think it's fine if you want to check my ears or paws as well. I generally don't mind a little handling because I know it's good for me. And don't worry, I'll let you know when I need to go outside.    My favorite thing is going outside and being able to stick my nose into all of the plants and grasses on a walk. I love to sniff, and that's how I get my stimulation I ask that you give me some slack for smelling everything, and in return I'll follow along for everything else. I'll learn your habits for walks really quickly. Speaking of learning. I'm super smart. I'd love for you to teach me some new tricks. I'll do almost anything for some treats. So far I know how to sit, stay, and paw really well.  Apply to meet Mr. Jack today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 17, 2024, 12:10 am
