A committed home is required for him to make the trip, and we’re hopeful the right person is out there. Meet Hamlet Hamlet is an approximately 7-month-old Border Collie mix and the brother of Romeo who just came up on our 2/14/26 transport. He has been waiting far too long at the kill shelter for his chance at a forever home. Hamlet is a sweet, friendly, and happy boy who loves people and does well with other dogs. He is so thankful for any attention he can get at the shelter and would love a family of his own. Like many young pups, Hamlet will need guidance with potty training, crate training, and leash manners, but he is young, adaptable, and eager to learn. His playful and affectionate personality makes him a wonderful companion for the right family. Age: Approximately 7 months Gender: Male Weight: 35lbs Breed: Border Collie mix (best guess) Spayed/Neutered: Scheduled Potty Trained: Not yet Crate Trained: Not yet Leash Manners: Working on it Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Needs to be tested Good with Kids: Yes, friendly with people Hamlet deserves a safe, loving home and a fresh start. If you are able to foster or adopt and help secure his ride to Wisconsin, please apply today. **More photos coming soon!** www.muttlife.org __________ Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter procedure, up-to-date dewormer, vaccinations, heartworm prevention (age appropriate), and certified veterinarian inspection within 30 days of adoption. __________ Review adoption requirements and ensure you meet the necessary criteria to apply! https://www.muttlife.org/adoption-policies _________ ADOPTION PROCESS: 1.) Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: After approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5-day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure it's the right fit. 4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue. 5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process, we conduct a home visit either in person or via Zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have. 6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. Story
Meet King! He is a 1-year-old medium sized Aussie who is neutered & up to date on vaccinations. He is a happy, easy-going dog who loves other dogs & gets along well with cats. He is crate-trained & we are working on potty training, but it is going very well & he catches on fast. He is a really good walker & loves to play in the snow. He is a little shy with humans at first, but after a few minutes, he will be your best friend & loyal companion, never leaving your side. He would be the perfect assistant for you if you work remotely from home.❤️ If you are interested in King, apply at RescueGang.org DATCP#483538
