Forrest is a lovable 40 pound rescue. Great with all dogs and crate/house trained. He was apparently dumped and no one came forward to claim him. Forrest is in a loving foster home and one of his favorite things to do is run errands with his foster parents. So outing to dog parks or road trips will be the highlight of his day. Forrest will bring lots of love, joy and companionship. Forrest loves the company of other dogs big & small ! Very smart and has learned to sit for a treat. If you are ready to add some love and fun to your life, look no further. Each dog will have 2 distemper/ Parvo vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, be dewormed,be heartworm tested, and if positive will be treated with Immiticide and be spayed or neutered. Each dog will also be on flea/tick/heartworm prevention and be microchipped. Adoption fee is $300 which includes the above vetting plus the additional vet visit and health certificate required for the puppy to get on transport to travel north from TN where it currently resides. Laker is a silly goofy boy who is a little scared at first but once he feels comfortable he won’t leave your side. He does take confidence from having a dog friend around, so if you have a dog at home who could use a best friend this might be your boy. He loves his bones, walks on trails, lots of cuddles, and watching tv sometimes! He walks well on the leash and would be a great hiking partner. He will need a little patience but with some love I see him being an amazing dog!He`s spending some time in a foster home so we can learn even more about him!
