Story
Meet Violet Beauregarde Lonestar, a 7 year-old, 60-pound bundle of energy! Saved from a Texas shelter with minutes to spare, this beautiful girl is eager to find her forever home. She would thrive with active owners who can match her energy level, and although she's good with dogs, she appreciates canine friends who mind their manners. Violet loves a good game of fetch and will spend hours in our kiddie pools if we let her.  Violet is excellent in the car and a superb walking companion; she even enjoys a good run with her volunteer friends. She is sweet and cuddly but sometimes prone to over-excitement, so she would do best in a home with older children, if any. An owner with some dog experience, who can provide structure, rules, and a quiet home will be her perfect match. Since she can become protective of her people and space, she may need to be put away when guests come over, but she's perfectly fine with that! Ready to give Violet Beauregarde Lonestar the loving environment she deserves? Fill out a canine application and mention her name! 📌 Important Adoption Information All of our dogs are currently living in private shelters or foster homes in South Korea. Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. • Rescue Story : Meet Taeri👋 Taeri was fostered for 3 months as a puppy, so she grew up with great social skills! Everyone thought she’d find her forever home quickly—but somehow, three years have flown by at the shelter🥲 • Personality: Friendly, Easy-going, Affectionate Taeri is super friendly and easygoing—she quickly warms up to new people and loves being around humans! She’s very affectionate and loves cuddles. You’ll often find her lying on her back waiting for belly rubs🥰 Her energy level is moderate—playful but not hyper. • Affinity with -Cats: Not tested -Dogs: Taeri gets along well with other dogs at the shelter and adjusts easily to new friends. -Adults/Kids: Good with all people, including men! She hasn’t met kids yet, but we think she’d do fine with gentle, respectful children. • Shedding: 6 • Food Allergies/Appetite: No allergies found so far / She's a good eater. • Walking Manner: She’s great on walks and enjoys being outside! • Housetrained: She uses pee pads indoors and goes potty outside as well. She'll need house training in a new environment. • Bathing/Brushing: She’s also a pro at bath time! • Separation Anxiety: None. • Bark or Howl: Barks only a little when other dogs bark. • Carsickness: During her foster days, she often went on car rides and handled them well. • Like: Taeri loves belly rubs more than anything! She enjoys all kinds of treats and likes toys she can chew on, like balls or wood sticks. • Health: Healthy and happy pup! 💪 💙 Adoption Fee Information The adoption fee already includes all major expenses, such as: International transportation, Customs and export documentation, Medical care (spay surgery, vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.) For this reason, we kindly ask that you refrain from requesting a breakdown or negotiation of the adoption fee. Your support directly helps us continue rescuing and caring for dogs in need, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding.

Story
Dexter is a sweet, goofy older boy who just wants someone to cuddle and play fetch with. He has been known to toss a ball or frisbee to himself in a pinch, but he definitely prefers a human companion for these sort of sporting activities! Dexter also loves walks and is very good on the leash, but he tends to tire out after a mile or two. He is house trained and crate trained, and while he has on occasion managed to Houdini his way out of his crate, he has never caused any actual damage to the crate nor gotten into any mischief after he freed himself. He does very well with other dogs, but would do just fine as an only dog as well - he definitely prefers the company of humans over canines! He is generally a very quiet, low-key dog. That said, we recommend he not be placed in a home with cats (he has not shown any prey-drive tendencies, but he is a little too interested in them for their comfort level). While he is a very gentle boy, he does sometimes get a little jumpy (especially when meeting new people) and can inadvertently head-butt with his big blocky head, so a home with older kids would be ideal. He is very smart and knows basic commands (sit, stay, come, crate) and LOVES treats! Dexter has not shown any resource-guarding tendencies regarding food, treats, or toys but he can be a vocal player with other dogs. Dexter would love a home with a nice fenced yard for playing fetch, where he gets lots of human attention and snuggles. And he's pretty well trained too, check him out here: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/DTMYniyrDmJqV4BY/ Here's some videos of his dog interactions: https://youtube.com/shorts/s50zqB8XoTs https://youtube.com/shorts/OxRzjbUOVXw Playing in the yard: https://youtu.be/mqxHcfH5Ryc Elect Dexter https://youtube.com/shorts/yOA6KScobN0?feature=share   Dexter loves walks and exploring, loves his pool, so his trainer recommends he goes to an active home. He'd also do great with a veteran or senior who still has some pep in their step. When he's not out and about, Dexter enjoys snuggling up on the couch with his humans while watching Netflix. Age: 9 years  Weight: 55 lbs  Temperament: good with all adults, and enjoys other dogs, should be fine with older respectful kids Vetting: Neutered, up to date on vaccines,  heratworm  negative  Training: House trained, crate trained, knows sit, down, stay/wait, his name, follow, come, look, and touch.  For questions, please email. ali@doggieharmony.org To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself .  February 26, 2026, 7:27 pm

Story
Moon Pie's Story Meet Moon Pie 2 Years Old | 80 lbs | Spayed | UTD on Vaccines | House Trained Moon Pie is an 80-pound athlete wrapped in pure affection. She will be two years old on June 27 and is a Boxer × Hanging Tree mix — which means brains, drive, and heart in one powerful package. Her story began with resilience. She survived a severe back injury after being trapped under a pallet. A veterinarian stepped in, treated the wound, and gave her the second chance she deserved. You’ll see the scar — it’s part of her story, not a limitation. Moon Pie is deeply people-oriented. She believes she is a lap dog. She thrives on connection, attention, and having “her person.” Temperament & Home Needs * Loves people * High energy, working-dog drive * House trained * Spayed (September 11) * Up to date on vaccinations She does well with a small dog in her current home, but she has had conflict with a similarly sized, high-energy dog. For everyone’s safety and success, we are recommending: ✔ An only-dog home, or ✔ A home with a calm, opposite-sex dog after proper introduction ✔ Experienced handler preferred ✔ Secure fencing required ✔ Active lifestyle strongly encouraged This is not a couch-potato dog. Moon Pie will excel with structure, exercise, and clear leadership. Think hiking partner, property companion, training enthusiast, or someone who understands working-line energy. She is not aggressive toward people. She is powerful, athletic, and needs management that matches her drive. Ideal Home Someone who: * Appreciates strong, smart dogs * Understands arousal management * Provides daily mental and physical outlets * Wants a loyal, affectionate companion Moon Pie isn’t difficult — she’s driven. There’s a difference.
