Story
Meet two adorable orange kittens, who were born July 30, 2025, and saved by a caring and dedicated park ranger who upon her discovery promptly called HUG. In her honor we named these precious kitties after leafy trees—Bonsai, and London! This little boy is London. This bouncy duo is eager to put down roots in a new loving home. They’re excited to be adopted together as London and Bonsai are a totally bonded team. Kittens thrive with a playmate by their side—it means double the fun, extra purrs, and way less mischief! If you live in Nassau, Queens, or Suffolk County and are ready for double the fun, and100% unconditional love, please complete HUG’s online application at http://humaneurbangroup.org/adoption-application and we will get back to you in two flicks of a cat’s tail. You will be so glad you did!

Story
Say hello to Coddle—the tiniest ball of purrs and happiness you’ll ever meet! This little heart-stealer, born August 21, 2025, had a heroic start in life when she was discovered at the local firehouse at only a week old. She was bottle-fed and pampered as she prepared for her grand entrance into the world of play and snuggles! Coddle is pure sweetness with a side of bounce—she’s got energy for days and adores playful adventures. She’s dreaming of furever home with a young kitty pal to share zoomies and mischief with. If you live in Nassau, Queens, or Suffolk County and ready for a whirlwind of kitten fun, just imagine this black and white fluffball filling your life with nuzzles and purrs! Every HUG kitten is tested for FIV/FeLV, is up to date on vaccines, spayed or neutered, and microchipped for peace of mind. If you’re ready for endless snuggles, silly antics, and fuzzy festivity with this healthy, adorable little girl, complete HUG’s online application at http://humaneurbangroup.org/adoption-application and we will get back to you before you can say “catnip!”

Story
Charon and Hydra, both born June 3, 2024, made their grand entrance right in our bottlefeeders’ garage—talk about a VIP arrival! Say hello to Charon: This handsome black-and-white boy is cool, calm, and collected—the perfect chill companion. Charon loves string toys, gentle play, and soft rubs on his head and back (butt scratches are a no-go for our distinguished gentleman!). He’s not the biggest fan of being held, but don’t worry—he’ll show his love with quiet loyalty and sweet quirks. His signature move? Splish-splashing in any water he finds! If you catch him pawing around in a bowl or sink, just know he’s living his best aquatic life. Charon and Hydra are two peas in a furry pod—they’re the ultimate best friends and really love being together. While we’d love for Charon and Hydra to be adopted together, we’d consider letting them go to separate homes, as long as there’s always someone around to give them plenty of attention. If you’re in Nassau, Queens, or Suffolk County and your heart is ready for a bucket of cuteness and unconditional love, just complete HUG’s online application at http://humaneurbangroup.org/adoption-application and one of our friendly humans will zip back to you quicker than a kitty chasing a laser dot!
