Story
Loki is a little bit of a special boy. This guys is currently living in a wonderful foster home with his sisters. Loki is special needs as he does have some reduced vision. We feel he needs to go to his new home with his sister Helena as she seems to help him navigate around a little better. The eye specialist believes his eye issue as a congential issue and that he has had it from birth. They don't feel that long term her will require any more medical care for the issues. If you are interested in meeting Loki and Helena please don't heistate to email adoption@columbiahumane.org in order to obtain and adoption application. For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgApril 26, 2024, 8:34 am

Story
Monkey is a very sweet, active, and energetic Tabby Manx. He loves to be around people, play, have treats, and sleep in comfy beds. He was born with Manx Syndrome, which is similar to Spina Bifida in humans. Since he has no tail, it affects the nerves in his back end causing him to not be able to feel when he needs to use the litter box. He is able to poop and pee on his own but doesn't know when it is happening. To make sure he doesn't get constipated he is on a mainly wet food diet. To help with the incontinence he is in a diaper and a onsie or surgery recovery outfit to help keep the diaper in place. Monkey will need a home that understands his needs and is able to keep him clean and change him. He will need to have someone who knows the signs of when he might start getting constipated. He had been prescribed a medication to help keep him regular, but it became too much for his system so he was taken off of it and just given the wet food. Sometimes if he seems to be getting constipated he will be given some Miralax. As he's gotten older he hasn't needed it as often. Monkey has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and tested for feline leukemia and aids. If you are interested or have questions about him please go to www.sccpets.com to fill out an application.May 2, 2024, 1:25 am

Story
Wow! Talk about change! I was part of an extended family of cats (18 of us) until our owner passed away suddenly. Now I'm looking for a home of my own, but I'd love to have my buddy, Sammy, come with me. I'm still not a lap cat but I am very sweet and I will try to push in for my share of the attention when you are petting another kitty. I haven't been around dogs so that might be a new adventure! I think older kids that know how to be nice to me would be okay after I get used to my surroundings and them. I am only about 4 years old and have some spots and stripes in my brown tabby coat. Please consider me, and Sammy, if you're looking for some snuggle (eventually) company! Go to www.sccpets.com and fill out the adoption application and we'll meet to see how it goes!May 2, 2024, 1:25 am

Story
Galaxy is a sweet young mama who just wants a home of her own to hang out in. She was found feral and pregnant outside. As she spent more time inside around people she has warmed up to her foster mom and has started cuddling in bed. She's not big on being picked up but she enjoys pets. She is a sweet girl who loves playing or looking out the window from her perch on the cat tree. If she's not on her perch, she can be found playing with her toy mice. She will need someone who understands feral cats and allow her to take her time warming up to a new human. She will have been fully vaccinated, dewormed, tested for feline leukemia and aids, microchipped, and spayed. If you are interested in meeting her, please go to www.sccpets.com.May 2, 2024, 1:25 am
