Story
Meet Lady Kensington! &#226&#152&#149With her elegant tortoiseshell coat and refined demeanor, Kensington carries herself like true feline royalty. She’s the kind of kitten who seems to be silently judging you over a dainty cup of tea — but don’t worry, she’ll still honor you with her affection (when she deems you worthy).Kensington has the air of a duchess and the heart of a sweetheart. She enjoys the finer things in life — a soft blanket, a sunny windowsill, and the occasional gentle head scratch. Beneath her sophisticated exterior lies a playful streak, and she’s not above batting at a toy or chasing a ribbon when no one’s watching. If you’ve been searching for a classy companion with a dash of sass, Kensington is ready to grace your home — and rule your heart — with royal charm. *Kittens under 16 weeks of age must be homed with another cat or adopted in pairs for their social developmentAll our pets go home:&#226&#156&#133 Spayed/Neutered&#226&#156&#133 Vaccinated&#226&#156&#133 Microchipped&#226&#156&#133 Treated for fleas and worms Interested in meeting Kensington?Email us at: adoption@columbiahumane.org to request an application.Adoption Fee: $175 eachFor more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgNovember 18, 2025, 5:50 am

Story
Sweet RosieJust like her name, Rosie is as sweet as a rose! This affectionate 1.5-year-old beauty was found caring for her kittens and brought into a loving foster home where she could raise them safely. Now that her babies are grown, Rosie is fully vetted—spayed, tested, vaccinated, microchipped, and healthy—and ready to begin a life of her own.Rosie loves being close to her person. She gently rubs against her foster’s legs for attention, happily soaks up chin and cheek scratches, and follows her foster around the house like a little shadow. At bedtime, she curls up on the bed for cozy snuggles. She’s also playful and energetic—she’ll chase her favorite string toy endlessly and zoom after tossed balls and toy mice with delight.Rosie would thrive as an only cat, but she’s shown curiosity toward other felines and will likely do well with a friendly male kitty after a slow, thoughtful introduction. She’s not expected to be a good fit with dogs, as she has no known experience with them.A wonderful blend of affection and fun, Rosie will make a loving, devoted companion for the lucky person who brings her home.To learn more or inquire about adopting Rosie, please email Patricia at dpcadams@comcast.net.For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgDecember 1, 2025, 6:06 am

Story
Meet M&M! M&M is a beautiful and resilient mama cat who raised four healthy kittens and is now ready for her own forever home. She’s a smart girl with a little sass, who can be vocal when she wants attention or a snack. Though she may take some time to adjust to new people, she’s very food motivated and quickly learns to trust once she feels safe.M&M has lived with dogs before and did well, but she has not shared space with other cats. Because of her personality, she would likely do best as the only feline in the home. Her foster also recommends a high-sided litter box, as she can be a bit messy at times. This sweet tabby would thrive in a quieter home without small children, where she can enjoy love, stability, and a family who appreciates her unique personality. M&M has given so much care to her kittens—now it’s her turn to be cared for and cherished. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143&#226&#156&#133 Spayed&#226&#156&#133 Vaccinated&#226&#156&#133 Microchipped&#226&#156&#133 Treated for fleas and worms Interested in meeting M&M?Please email: adoption@columbiahumane.org for an application.Adoption Fee: $175For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgAugust 30, 2025, 6:42 am
