Are you looking for a small, lovable little girl that needs her own best friend? I have loving 6 year old Chihuahua that deserves a life with someone that makes her the center of their world. One that has a ready lap for her to curl up on and stay for as long as you let her. I am gone soooo much. She needs a home with no small children or animals that move quickly or want to get her personal space. She loves humans but barely tolerates other animals. When it comes to small children, she will stay away because fast movements aren’t her favorite. She won’t go after them, but she will stand up for herself if she feels threatened. She doesn’t HAVE to have a new home. I love her dearly. It’s because of that love I want someone that can give her what I cannot - A consistent daily potty routine, lots of TIME, and A LOT of lap cuddles.

Meet Chopper, born Feb 8, 2025. When we brought Mom-Dog Helena up from an overcrowded shelter in Kentucky back in December 2024, little did we know she’d be delivering puppies a couple months later. Her six puppies, born Feb 8 2025, one boy and five girls, are absolutely adorable. Helena is likely a Chihuahua Mix and of course we have no idea of the breed of the father-dog. We expect the puppies are Terrier – Chihuahua Mixes Chopper is the only boy in the mix, and he’s the most precious pup ever! Chopper is a bit thin, weighing in at 22 lbs. We expect this to be his adult weight…but he can afford to gain a couple more pounds to fill out a bit. He’s a very picky eater and is not food or treat motivated. He is very people focused and is not fond of being left home (Or, even anywhere in the home) alone. Chopper is housebroken for the most part. He is not fond if being crated. He is up to date on all vet care…vaccinations, heartworm negative and on year-round heartworm prevention, neutered and microchipped. Dobby is a cute younger pup, with an estimated date of birth, October 2024. He is full grown at 16 lbs. We are not quite sure of his breed but suspect it might be part French Bulldog and part Chihuahua!. He’s a shy, quite boy, scared of new people and new experiences. We anticipate that it will take him quite some time to adapt to his new forever home. So a very patient, compassionate forever family is needed to allow him to evolve on his own terms, to be the confident pup we are sure he can be. Since he is scared of quick movements, a home with small children would be inappropriate for him. He enjoys the company of calm, well-mannered dogs and most likely another dog in the family would be very beneficial for him. Dobby is up to date on vaccinations, neutered & microchipped, heartworm negative and on year-round heartworm preventative. HELLO! We are Spuds and Winnie… the perfect senior dynamic duo. Our beloved owner passed away and left us without a home. CDR stepped up and helped us find a soft place to land while we look far and wide for our furever home together. We have been together for 10 years, but when you meet us, you will realize that we still have quite a bit of pep left in our steps! And we will still make the perfect companions for someone looking for fun and lots of love! Our foster Dad asked us to tell you a bit about us, so here we go: Hello! My name is Spuds, but you can just call me “silly boy” because my foster Dad says I’m just a happy-go-lucky little dude. I LOVE playing in the yard, exploring the yard, just hanging out in the yard! In fact, sometimes my foster Dad has to make me come in! I have a cute, quiet bark to let you know it’s play time, potty time or hey! I’m hungry! I am short-haired, which means I will always look my most handsome with a bath and some brushing! And speaking of eating, I would like a cozy space of my own to eat in because I will steal the other dog’s food every chance I get. I guess you could say I’m a chow hound! Even though I’m an older boy, I still love to run and jump, and I walk great on a leash! AND… Hello! My name is Winnie, or Win for short. My foster Dad says whoever adopts Spuds and I will be the WINNER! I am VERY sweet and very cuddly, and will curl up in your arms as much as you will let me! But don’t let my hold me, please attitude fool you! I am quick on my feet and love to play with all the other dogs at my foster home. I must admit that yelling and strange, loud noises scare the heck out of me, so a quiet home would be perfect! And full disclosure, I have a heart murmur that requires me to take ½ a pill twice a day, but that murmur doesn’t slow me down at all! Sonja was adopted 4 years ago in December from heartland animal shelter. My vet thought at time she was three years old so I’m guessing now she’s 6 or 7. Someone to love and care for her. She is trained to use the Peepee pads. She loves to sit on your lap under a blanket, loves kisses enjoys a fenced in yard. She sleeps in my bedroom in her bed. She’s tiny snuggly independent low maintenance. She eats a quarter cup of dry food twice a day and loves her treats!

She is also house trained and has an accident-free record at her foster home."
