This dog's adoption fee is $300. If you are still interested, please read more below. Hello! My name is Jeffery, and I am an adorable fellow who loves to hang out with my human family. I have a beautiful, low maintenance coat. I guess you could say that I am a real looker! My foster mom is patient and kind and says that I am a happy boy who’s just one awesome dog! However, my previous home wasn’t the friendliest, so I really need my space respected while I fully learn to trust again. As such, I need an adult-only home without any children under 12 years old. It would also be best that I am the only dog so I can get all the attention all the time, as I definitely like to be the fun guy in charge. And know that I will be your sweet and loyal shadow if you let me! I also love snuggling and watching TV with my people on the couch. Another one of my favorite things to do is to sit on the top of the couch and look out the living room window. I bark sometimes at the passersby, but, hey I’m a cool guy who just wants to say hi! I also love hanging out in the fenced yard sniffing around and playing with stuffed babies. Boy, I sure am a swell dude! Are you the right match for me? Max and Punzel (Maximus and Rapunzel) are brother (brown) and sister (black and white). We have had them since they were little and had them for one of our kids who has since left our home. They are very well trained. When they go out, they will quietly sit at your feet looking up at your face, and when they see you, they start running to the back door, stopping now and then to make sure they are still following. They are very cuddly and are very low maintenance dogs. Because they are little, they don't need long walks but can run around in the house. They enjoy wrestling with each other and chasing each other which is a lot of fun to just watch.

Bonita is a tiny bundle of love with a big personality packed into her pint-sized frame. This sweet Chihuahua adores playtime, whether she’s chasing toys or bouncing around with excitement. She loves going on walks, taking in the world one curious step at a time, and when the day winds down, she’s happiest curled up close, soaking up all the cuddles she can get. Bonita was originally adopted from us, but through no fault of her own, she recently found her way back after her previous owner had to move somewhere that doesn’t allow dogs. She’s adjusting well and is ready to find a forever home where she can share her affectionate nature and playful spirit once again.

BONDED PAIR -- Only adopting these two dogs together. We will not separate them. 2026 started off really hard on these two special boys. Introducing Blanco (white) and Shorty, a bonded pair of three year old, 10 pound, Chihuahuas seeking a new home. Their previous family lost their home and two dogs to a terrible house fire on New Years Eve, causing them to seek help for Blanco and Shorty since they had nowhere to live. Our rescue learned of the plight of this family and stepped in to help. Blanco and Shorty are initially shy but they warm up in no time. Both boys are super sweet, very affectionate dogs who love their person/people and each other. Blanco is dog social but Shorty (brown and white coat) prefers just Blanco’s company; they seem to seek each other out for emotional support. Shorty and Blanco enjoy keeping their foster mom’s lap nice and warm and are happy to cuddle with her a bit. They are thoroughly enjoying the large, securely fenced yard of their foster home where they can run and play. When it’s time to rest, they snuggle up together in the dog bed and keep each other company. Blanco and Shorty are completely housebroken; they are currently fearful of the leash so they require a securely fenced yard for potty breaks. ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: Blanco and Shorty require they be the only dogs in the home. Additionally, they are approved for adult households, or adults and children over the age of 12 years. These dogs have been examined by licensed veterinarians, provided inoculations, been tested for diseases, dewormed, neutered, and microchipped. Twitch is a good boy, but I made the mistake of thinking that because he loves being around other dogs, that meant he'd be happy with a doggy sibling. However, he became aggressive to our other dog, and despite our best efforts, it's continued to escalate. He needs a home where he's an only dog, but he does love visiting with dogs. He also loves being outside, and he'd be much happier with a yard. He has not taken to potty pads, but he's consistent with his potty training when he has access to a yard. He's quite shy with strangers, especially men, but gets very close with his caretakers. He quickly became buddies with a friend who watched him for 2 weeks. He's ok with kids but would do better in a home without them. He gets very excited for car rides and knows basic commands. He enjoys wearing clothes and loves showing off how cute he is in them! His favorite way to spend his time is napping next to his people. Just give him a little time to warm up and he'll be a great lap companion!
