My name is Yolanda and I am an almost 9 year old chihuahua. 9 is a great age for a chi - I have plenty of life left in me, AND I'm already a super good girl!  I am leash trained, crate trained and potty trained. I have nice house manners and I along very well with other dogs, too. In fact, I would *really* like a doggy friend in my forever home! I like the companionship. Like many chihuahuas, I am a bit nervous of new people, but I warm up quickly and I'm quite friendly after I verify that you are a nice new friend.  I am also good with kids. Foster mom says kids over 8 would probably be best, but I'd  probably be good with even younger kids, as long as they are nice and mom and dad keep an eye on things.  I have a bit of a sassy streak. I will bark to let you know of danger - that's just part of being a good chihuahua! I am playful and fun, as well as affectionate and sweet. Foster mom says that I will be a great pup for any family. My name is Legend of Zorro - just plain Zorro to my friends - and I'm looking for my new forever home! I am a *gorgeous* boy, listed as a chihuahua, but foster mom says she thinks I'm more likely a Tibetan Spaniel mix. My brindle coat is soft and fluffy and I weigh in around 12lbs. I am about 5 years old, so full grown at this size. I am crate trained and close to house trained. I have very nice house manners and will even ask to get up on the furniture before jumping up to snuggle. I LOVE my people - all the people I've ever met, actually! I do get mouthy when playing, though (seems like I was never taught that my hands aren't for chewing on, haha) so we are recommending kids over about 10 for me. To be clear, I am NOT a biter...just a bit mouthy during play. I'm learning quickly that people don't like it much, though! I am great with dogs, too! I am a very sweet little man, looking for a patient home with a doggy friend (or two!) I am still quite shy with people, though I am coming out of my shell more every day and foster mom says I am ready to find my people. I am very sweet, I would never bite you - I'm just still very unsure of what people want from me. I think I must have spent very little time around humans, and my first instinct is still to run away and hide. A secure yard and home will be very important for me in my forever home, so I can stay safe. What I *really* love are my doggy friends! Having a pack to hang out and play with is very important for me! I learn so much from my pack, and they make me feel so much more comfortable! I'm happy to hang out with dogs of any age or size, as long as they will be nice to me! I am very happy to hang out in my crate and I am almost completely potty trained (no accidents lately!) though foster mom says a belly band is still a good idea for the first few days, since getting used to a new home can be rough!
