Story
Available 6 Years 84 lbs Fostered in Illinois Fenced yard required Meet George – a gentle soul waiting for a second chance. George is a tall, beautiful Collie with the heart of a teddy bear and eyes full of stories. At first glance, he may seem shy or uncertain—but give him time, and you’ll discover a loyal companion who will quietly nuzzle your hand or follow you from room to room, just happy to be near you. George has had a rough start in life. Coming from a backyard breeder where he lived outside alone and was frightened by harsh treatment, he’s still learning to trust. The world is a big, unfamiliar place to him—but he’s making brave steps forward every day. His crate is his safe haven, and he sleeps through the night like a champ. He’s not the kind of dog who will jump into your lap right away—but when he kisses your hand or gently leans against you, it means everything. George loves toys (every day is like Christmas!), and watching him discover the joy of play is a gift in itself. He would do best in a calm home with adults or older, respectful children, and ideally a confident dog friend to show him the ropes. George startles easily—reflections, noises, even passing cars can make him nervous—and he still barks at anything new or loud outside. He’s especially cautious around men, but with patience, he warms up. George is crate-trained, rides quietly in the car (you may need to lift him in), and is food-motivated-never turning down a treat. He’s not yet used to stairs or leash-walking, and grooming is a work in progress, but he’s smart and eager to please. With time, love, and a gentle hand, George will blossom into the devoted companion he was always meant to be. If you’re the kind of person who understands that healing takes time and love, George will be forever grateful. He’s looking for someone who doesn’t need perfection—just a best friend to grow with. George isn’t perfect—but he’s perfectly worth it.

Looking for a fun-loving bundle of fluff? Puppy might be your perfect match!About 2-years-old, this chow/collie/golden retriever mix is a charming boy who loves a squeaky toy and a romp with his canine friends. Puppy is always ready to bring a smile to your face. Now let’s talk about treats, Puppy is a big fan (I mean who isn’t?) and will be sure to win you over with his adorable `please give me a snack` eyes. It takes Puppy a little time to really trust the humans in his house but patience & a pocket full of treats will definitely help.Puppy would love for his forever home to have a fenced in yard and a canine buddy though he does like a nice walk and is working on his leash manners. If you’re looking for a sweet and playful friend, Puppy might be the one for you. Story
Hi, I’m Pip—50% sass, 50% snuggles, and 100% ready to steal your heart! With my spotted coat and spunky spirit, I’m the kind of pup who turns heads and melts hearts. I’m about a year old, full of love, and currently living my best life in foster care while I wait for my forever home. My foster family says I’m bursting with personality. I’ve got a happy tail, goofy expressions, and a big heart that’s always ready for cuddles. I love being near my people—whether we’re playing, snuggling, or just hanging out. I’ll be your shadow, your sidekick, your biggest fan. I already know how to sit, I settle nicely in my crate when it’s time to rest, and I’m doing well with my house manners—as long as I get regular potty breaks (a girl’s got needs, after all!). I’ve got lots of playful energy and am learning how to take a breath when I get extra excited. I just love people so much, it’s hard not to wiggle with joy! Because of that, I’d probably do best with bigger kids who won’t get knocked over by my enthusiasm. I might also enjoy having a calm dog friend who matches my vibe. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, loyal sidekick with a whole lot of heart—look no further. I might just be your girl. Pip is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventions. $200 Local Adoption Fee (in Texas) $450 Out of State Fee (includes transport to your area)

Born: December 24, 2024 I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $650 Say hello to Aaron, the most dashing Red Heeler/German Shepherd mix you ever did see! This clever canine is on the hunt for his forever family and he's bringing a whole toolbox of tricks with him. While he might be a tiny bit timid at the vet's office, he's always on his best behavior. Plus, he's a dedicated student of potty training and is this close to earning his diploma! Aaron dreams of a home with older kids (think 13 and up), and he's a social butterfly who gets along famously with both cats and other dogs.
