Lady loves to keep busy, whether she's playing, exploring, or simply enjoying time with her favorite people. Her fun-loving personality and happy spirit make her a wonderful companion for someone looking for a lively little sidekick. At the end of the day, Lady is ready to bring plenty of love, laughter, and puppy-like fun into her forever home. If you're looking for a pint-sized best friend with a big personality, Lady could be the girl for you!

if you have a little patience and a lot of love, this gal may be your match.   Animal Information: Honey is an adorable, 9-month-old Dachshund mix with a bubbly spirit and sweet personality. She was surrendered to our rescue partners in Oklahoma when her owner was no longer able to care for her due to mental health. Honey has been in foster care since, is friendly with other dogs, potty trained and does well in her crate overnight. We can't wait to meet her! Foster Profile: meet Honey! This sweet girl is your typical teenage dog who loves to play. She’s working through some fear and sometimes needs guidance deciding if she’s excited or should be scared. She’ll benefit from a patient home and a confident resident dog to continue teaching her to be comfortable. She can be shy meeting new people but accepts pets especially when the resident dog is also getting attention. She tests the boundaries of using her voice, but is ultimately quiet and good I know her crate. She has some reservations peeing on a leash and is still working through those insecurities, she did not have a problem when fostered in OK with a yard.   Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Mikey! Mikey is a 1-year-old, 15 lb Dachshund/Spaniel mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. He’s now looking for a very special home that can give him the time, patience, and understanding he needs to thrive. Mikey is a shy, sensitive boy who can be skittish in new situations and around new people. He is considered a flight risk, so he will need a calm, secure home committed to keeping him safe while he learns to trust and settle in. He’s looking for a quiet, predictable environment—ideally outside of the busy city—where he can decompress, build confidence, and establish a steady routine. Because of his sensitive nature, Mikey will need an adult-only home with adopters who have experience working with shy or fearful dogs. Having another well-adjusted, confident dog in the home would be a huge benefit for Mikey. He takes comfort in other dogs and would love a buddy to help show him the ropes and build his confidence. While he may be reserved at first, once Mikey forms a bond and feels safe, he shows his true colors—sweet, cuddly, and deeply loving with his people. He just needs time, patience, and a gentle approach to get there. Mikey has not been tested with cats. Mikey is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

GRAVY 1½ years • Long-Haired Dapple Dachshund/Doxie Mix Stunningly handsome, sweet and cuddly — meet Gravy, part of our Breakfast Club that arrived on Monday. When he first arrived, Gravy seemed like one of the boldest of the bunch. He would come looking for pets but stay just far enough away that he couldn't be caught — something we commonly see with undersocialized dogs or dogs who haven't always been treated kindly. What a difference a safe foster home makes. He’s opening up more every day and now seeks out his foster dad for comfort and cuddles. He runs zoomies with Waffles, loves outside time in the safety of their big fenced yard and has become best friends with Wilson, a Pacific Rim Rescue alum his fosters adopted last year. Like her famous namesake - Edna is a legendary personality in a sturdy little package! Edna is believed to be a Dachshund x Corgi! All the short legs and all the brains combined in an adorable fur coat. Edna is truly a sweet girl, surrendered to us by a family who could no longer care for her. She is a bit underweight but we are working on that with all the yummy treats and quality food. Edna is in wonderful health otherwise, and will be current on vaccinations, has received her Microchip, will be spayed and have a dental with our vet soon and is ready for her happy ever after. Edna has integrated into a multi-dog foster home like a champ and even likes the resident kitty! Let's find this icon the most wonderful place to land.
