This cutie is Susan. Possibly a boxer mix. She is about 2 years old and 52#. Susan can stand to gain a couple more pounds. She is a silly, happy and social girl. She likes other dogs. She likes everyone she meets. Susan brings an air of happiness with her. Between big tail wags, kisses and zoomies she is sure to brighten anyone’s spirits. She has very soulful eyes. Susan does well on the leash, is calm natured, knows the sit command and is quiet in her kennel. Susan loves naps on her bed, walks, exploring outside and canned food. There is no doubt she will make a loving and loyal friend for life. Adoption is $95 and includes wellness exam, DAPP vaccine, rabies vaccine, dewormer, spay, microchip, and heartworm test (negative). Meet BEN (black) & JERRY (blonde) 🍦🍦🍦 Dynamic DUO! These 2 are a very bonded pair of brothers. They appear to be around 2 years old and extremely sweet. They are both heartworm negative, up to date on rabies, DAPP, fecal/dewormer, and their wellness checked out great. They are both 12 pounds and fully grown. We do believe they are a type of chihuahua mix. Ben is very outgoing, happy to play and snuggle. Jerry can be a tad shy for the first couple of minutes but then comes out of his shell if he sees that Ben is getting all the lovins. Both are perfectly adorable in every sense of the word. Cuteness overload. Both are affectionate and like to be cuddled. They entertain each other very nicely so it’s true, having two dogs is easier than having one! Their adoption fee is $95(ea) which includes: DAPP and rabies vaccine, heartworm test (neg!), fecal/dewormer, microchip, and a neuter! Come meet these little balls of joy at Guntersville Animal Hospital, 1609 Henry St, Guntersville, AL. Mon-Fri 7:30-5:30 and Sat 7:30-12. No appt necessary. Call 256-582-3184 for more info.

Story
This beautiful girl is now named Mattie. She was found on Wyeth Dr. Mattie came into the shelter underweight, loaded with fleas, internal parasites and is heartworm positive. This sweet girl is young at around 2 years and only weighs 50#. She obviously was not well taken care of. It breaks our hearts because she is the most well mannered, patient and affectionate dog. Mattie can be a bit shy at first but give her 2-3 minutes and she’s up against you giving tons of gentle kisses. She has been doing well with the other dogs. We suspect she’s a Great Pyrenees mix. She was a good girl during her bath but is still in need of a good brushing. Mattie is one of those dogs that melts a heart. She’s easy going, quiet, gentle and a big love bug. She is unsure about the leash but once outside the shelter, she does pretty good. TAG is sponsoring her heartworm treatment (Yup, that’s us!) and it was started today. Mattie will be just fine and is expected to make a full recovery. A shelter is nowhere to be when a dog isn’t feeling well. Please consider adopting Mattie. Let’s get her into a loving home. Adoption is $95 and includes wellness exam, DAPP vaccine, rabies vaccine, dewormer, spay, microchip AND her heartworm treatment. Come meet Mattie at Guntersville Animal Hospital, 1609 Henry St, Guntersville, AL. Mon-Fri 7:30-5:30 and Sat 7:30-12. No appt necessary. Call 256-582-3184 for more info.
