Story
This is Darby, She is as much a part of our family as our children. We found her after she had been hit by a car. Her pelvis was broken, she was emaciated, and she had just had puppies. We looked for days for them and never found them. She is the most loving, calm, wonderful soul. She is almost a truly perfect dog. I am forced to rehome her because she is extreemly protective of us and went into our neighbors yard and bit thier 7 year old lab. They have involved the police and we are being forced to either euthanize her or find her a new home. I cant even explain how painful this is, she is bonded to me like a child as I spent a lot of time with her durring her healing. We are guessing she is about 3 to 5 years old. She has escape artist tendencies so a solid fence is a must. She also has had sever trauma on a leash at some point as she is petrified them along with car rides. She prefers women, but has never shown aggression with a man either. There's so much more but I'm out of words

Story
Bitsy is a precious Chihuahua mix that would be a good dog for anyone with room in their heart for a deaf dog.  Bitsy was born prematurely from a rescued mama dog too malnourished herself to feed all three of her tiny puppies.  Bitsy was raised on a bottle and went back and forth from home to work in a groom shop every day.  She was raised with kids, cats and other dogs.  Bitsy came to Fairy Dogmother Rescue because she was being passed over at her other rescue due to her deafness.  Fairy Dogmother's clientele have always been forward thinking and open to loving special needs dogs as much as Fairy Dogmother herself does.  Bitsy is here now to find her forever home.  Please click the link below to watch a happy video about a man who did not want any dog, certainly not a deaf dog. Guess what?  He fell hopelessly in love and now they have the best adventures together.  LOL, those guys always fall the hardest.  Bitsy's adoption fee is a donation to the rescue. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid036k8ksE38EVH4Y68AK9bkoGYWA6WFgrM1onMvhwXEKG4gxhhB61XNiLYZ2TtjHiAol&id=100064747264237&mibextid=UyTHkb  December 2, 2023, 3:18 am

Story
Cujo is a 5 year old Chihuahua/Feist mix.  This fellow turned out to be a sweetheart.  However, he came in an unclaimed stray with the attitude of a junkyard dog.  Time to decompress, good food, vet care and neutering brought out Cujo's true self.  He enjoys a good scratch and pat, but he is not a cuddler and prefers his own bed in a crate with an open door (his 'safe space').  Cujo does well with other dogs, no cats or kids here and no history about either.  I believe Cujo would do best with a person looking for an independent companion that is not always asking for attention.  His adoption fee is a donation to the rescue in the amount of $400.December 2, 2023, 3:18 am

Story
Rusty is a one year old Aussie mix.  He is friendly, well socialized, weighs 50 pounds and has a docked tail. This young man was an unclaimed stray.  He has a beautiful red & white coat with a little bit of black.  Rusty gets along well with other dogs and I expect cats too.  He loves water!  A pool, pond or creek would be a plus for him.  He is not known to be house trained.  Rusty is neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm and flea preventives.  His adoption fee is a donation to the rescue in the amount of $600.December 2, 2023, 3:18 am
