Story
Hi! My name is Faith and I am 5 years old. I was found by my current family in the amish country when I was just a little pup. They have taken great care of me and loved me. I love to play ball and jump. I am really fast! I love children! Definitely when they have yummy snacks for me. I also play well with other friends that look like me! I am looking for a new home that will love me, take me for walks, play ball, and enjoy me! I am a hyper active sweet girl. I hope to find that family soon!

Story
George is an amazing dog! He has done doggie daycare and he’s amazing with other dogs! He’s also good with cats. George is the sweetest and most loving dog you’ll ever meet! He wants nothing more than to be next to you getting all of the affection he can get. He listens very well, can be a bit stubborn at times, and just an overall cuddly good boy! As much as it breaks my heart to rehome him, I believe he deserves someone more financially stable to provide him with what he needs to live out the remainder of his life

Story
ADOPTION FEE WAIVED‼️ Buddy has been returned through no fault of his own. The new owners said he is a resource guarder and does not want any other dogs around when he is eating. This is usually an easy issue to fix if you feed your dog in a separate location or in a crate and pick up any uneaten food. Buddy is a quiet, very cuddly boy. He literally just wants to lay around and burrow up next to you. He walks well on a leash and loves being petted without being demanding. Buddy is quiet, very well mannered and has a gentle personality. While he has done well with the other shelter dogs, supervision and proper introductions are always highly recommended. Buddy is around 3 years old, 47 lbs, heartworm negative, up to date on his shots, flea/tick preventative good for 1 month. He does have a little bit of skin irritation on his lower back and tail but we were able to confirm it is just from severe fleas that we have already taken care of. Buddy is READY for his forever home!! Let's help him out. He is neutered and fully vetted. Come meet this sweet little guy at Guntersville Animal Hospital, 1609 Henry St, Guntersville, Al. Call 256-582-3184 for more info.

Story
WE NEED HELP‼️ Donations, a special adopter, a sponsor and/or a rescue partner needed‼️ Lilly was picked up by animal control and is now available for adoption or a rescue pull. It appears sweet little Lilly lived her young life as a chained dog based on the extra heavy duty collar she was wearing. She is also very underweight (it does not show just how much in her pictures). What is even more disheartening is that she is heartworm positive. Despite all the neglect Lilly has endured she is the sweetest girl who very much wants to be near people. She loves positive attention and interacting with everyone around her. She is eager to be shown some attention. Even as starved as she is he is very gentle when she takes treats from your hand. She is not quite as outgoing as Chewy but is still confident and playful. She has a loving and gentle spirit. Lilly is approximately 2-3 years old and right now only weighs 35 pounds. Her ideal weight would be more in the 45-50 pound range. We are humbly asking for donations to be called directly into Guntersville Animal Hospital & Surgery Center for her heartworm treatment. Please call (256)582-3184 to make a donation for Lilly and help us save her life. Lilly came in with a male companion, Chewy, who is also heartworm positive and will require the same medical care. It is obvious these two dogs were used for breeding. Lilly has clearly had mutiple litters. If you are interested in meeting Lilly come by the shelter at Guntersville Animal Hospital & Surgery Center at 1609 Henry St, Guntersville or call (256)582-3184 for more info. Mon-Fri 7:30-5:30 and Sat 7:30-12.
We'll also keep you updated on Chewy's adoption status with email updates.

It appears Chewy lived his life as a chained dog based on the extra heavy duty collar and the heavy metal clasp he was wearing. He has visible hair loss and an irritated skin patch on his chest most likely from the constant rubbing of a chain. He is also very underweight (it does not show just how much in his pictures). What is even more disheartening is that he is heartworm positive. Despite all the neglect Chewy has endured he is the sweetest boy who very much wants to be near people. He loves positive attention and wants very much to be petted and loved. Even as starved as he is he is very gentle when he takes treats from your hand. He is very outgoing, confident and playful. He will require a bit of training because he does pull on his leash but he is so people and food motivated that this can be easily accomplished. Chewy is approximately 4-5 years old and right now only weighs 45 pounds. His ideal weight would be more in the 55-60 pound range.
