Story
6 month old Rottweiler / Mini Australian Shepard mix. Currently about 40 pounds. She is a happy, energetic, and loving dog who needs someone who can give her a lot of love, attention and some additional training. She would thrive with someone who can walk her often and take her for out for runs, hikes, and adventures. She is very active and loves to play and run. She gets along with other dogs small and large, but is extra playful. She loves kids but sometimes tries to play with little ones a little too rough. She would be ideal for a family with older kids or no kids. She is very sweet and will snuggle or love up on you after a long day of adventures. She is up to date on all shots, kennel trained, knows a few commands and is house broken. She does have a bit of a chewing problem (as most puppies do) and needs to have a lot of toys available for her at all times. Her tail was docked and dewclaws removed before from breeder around birth. She is up to date on shots but needs spayed.

She is very loving but is very active. She loves to play with kids and gets along well with other (large) pets. She is rough with little ones. She needs someone that will be active with her because she tends to dig if she hasn’t let her energy out for the day

Story
EVE Eve is a small sweet Puggle (pug and beagle) the vet estimates is 6 yrs. old and is 22 pounds with long legs. She's a lovebug and wants to cuddle with a person on a couch/chair and in bed. She knows how to use a dog door and has had no inside accidents. She has a lot of play energy and needs a home where she will be walked a minimum of 1-2 times a day. She also needs another dog to play with and a back yard to run in. Eve can jump high and a minimum 5ft. wall all the way around is required. She is also a digger. Fencing must have a footer so she doesn't dig her way under. Children in the home should be at least 6 yrs. or older, due to her energy. Her favorite thing to do is lay in the back yard, waiting to stalk squirrels. We aren't sure if she is cat friendly. She is not happy being in a crate. We are looking to adopt Eve in the Tucson area as she has the potential to be a door dasher. If you are interested in adopting Eve or have any questions about her, please fill out an application on the Southern Arizona Beagle Rescue website. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1SnhudHYFJaPfZyCeKy36-9pbowOVOI-xrX4TIiSIxl4/edit Eve's adoption fee is $250.November 5, 2024, 12:02 pm

Story
CARTER Carter is a 3–4-year-old, 70-pound, sweet, snuggly hound boy! By DNA, he is roughly equal parts bluetick, redbone, treeing walker and Plott hounds. Even though he looks and sounds like a bloodhound, he does not have any bloodhound in him and his personality is all coonhound! So, if you love coonhounds, you can get almost all of them in one package with Carter! Carter gets along great with dogs in a public setting. However, in his foster home he sometimes guards his space against other dogs. For this reason, it is best that he be the only dog in the home, but with his larger than life personality, you don't really need another dog! He is unknown with cats. He is vaccinated, neutered, crate trained and house trained. Carter needs a 30-40 minute walk every day to stay happy and healthy, so he is looking for an active adopter. He loves the water and will take a dip in even a small tub of water! Carter will need a 5 foot block wall or a 6 foot fenced yard for his safety. Carter gets along well with kids, but due to his size, he would need to go to a home with older kids. We are looking for a hound-experienced adopter with secure containment, and children 12 or older for our big, sweet hound boy. If you are interested in adopting Carter, please go to our website and fill out an application https://docs.google.com/.../1SnhudHYFJaPfZyCeKy36.../edit, and his foster mom will be in touch with you. Carter’s adoption fee is $300.00. Southern Arizona Beagle Rescue, SoAZBR is an all-volunteer group. One hundred percent of your donation is used for the care and treatment needy beagles. Your donation is 100% tax deductible, too. We URGENTLY need fosters so we can help save more dogs.  If you can help, please contact us. Story
Zander is a 7-8 year-old hound mix who was found roaming in rural Arizona. He was picked up as a stray by animal control and never reclaimed. Zander is such a good boy, and we can’t imagine why no one came for him. Despite spending time on the streets, Zander is house trained with a dog door, and non-destructive in the home. He gets along great with other dogs. Children and cats are unknown. He has nice leash skills and enjoys a 20-minute walk per day. Zander weighs about 52 pounds and could stand to put on a few more pounds. Zander is looking for a home where he can spend his golden years getting regular exercise, regular meals, and a nice soft bed! If you would like to meet Zander, please fill out an application and his foster mom will be in touch. https://docs.google.com/.../1SnhudHYFJaPfZyCeKy36.../edit... Zander’s adoption fee is $250.00.
