Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Meet Kevin. He is a neutered male pitty mix. He has been in our care for over 8 months with no one interested in adopting him. He needs obedience training as he has lived in the shelter now most of his life. He was found walking a busy highway on a cold February day. He is playful and loves attention. He is heartworm negative and on prevention. We are located in Arkansas and transport to the east coast weekly. We are really hoping to find his forever home. He will not be adopted out as a gift or to any area that has a breed ban in place. If interested please email us a fundthefur@gmail.com and we will send an application.

Story
Who is Esther? She is a blonde, 60 pound gold eyes lab mix, a leader, and potentially an alpha-female. Approximately 2 1/2 years old, UTD on rabies and fixed. Still has the feral mentality to a certain degree, I say that because she likes outside but since she’s been with us, she’s getting a little more particular on when she goes out (if it’s too hot, she stays in, if it’s too cold, she stays in, the spring, or in the fall are just right.) she loves to hoard. I say that because whenever there are toys, raw bones, or any special treats involved, she likes to see and compare to get the better. She’s very vocal. She likes to be petted, but she will let you know when it’s ok. She has to find her comfort zone with you. However, she does have her times when she’s very standoffish. Her feral mentality kicks in periodically and she can become skiddish. It may take a while for her to warm up to you, so her potential family needs to be patient with her, as she is still a little timid. She would be excellent in any sort of atmosphere, whether it be an existing family of pets or her being the only one, she has adapted to the foster home pets, and in time, did great with them. She truly is a good girl, but very much misunderstood, and will take someone to have patience with her until she can find that comfort zone with her new home. She likes playing and will wrestle with our Rottweiler. She and her brother often times play with each other, but she’s pretty adaptable. She’s funny, she’s smart, and if she’s bored, can find herself chewing on stuff, but she understands when you reprimand her for chewing on something she shouldn’t be. She loves fresh fruits and vegetables like sweet potatoes, green peppers, frozen blueberries, bananas, carrots, frozen broccoli, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, and her treats. She and the pack look forward to getting a teaspoon of their “nutter nutter” every morning (peanut butter that has DE, Chaga, reishi, Turkey tail mushroom tincture, Tumeric, pepper and omega 3-6-9 mixed together). She loves raw bones with the marrow inside from the butcher. All in all, she’s beautiful and she is very smart. She’s a great dog and would flourish in a home with other dogs or alone with some good training. No issues with small or big dogs. Not sure about cats, she’s not been exposed to cats or small children. She just needs someone to work with her and give her the life that she so truly deserves. Story
Who is Samson? He is a black 2 1/2-year-old, 50 pound gold eye lab mix, fixed and UTD on rabies. Unlike his sister Esther, he is a follower. Samson is very timid and has progressed somewhat from feral mentality. He loves his bed in unsure times, he runs to his cage and observes. He is still trying to trust people, but he will come if called. He has his little quirky way of approaching me with a bark to get my attention because reluctantly he wants to play. He’s almost completely black with a little hint of white here and there and he has piercing gold eyes - resembling a puma. He’s gorgeous. I think, if given the opportunity to be separated, he would probably blossom, but he and his sister have been together all their lives. Sampson loves to eat. He loves fresh fruits and vegetables like sweet potatoes - his favorite, green peppers - 2nd best favorite, frozen blueberries, bananas, carrots, frozen broccoli, hard, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, and his treats. Definitely food motivated. He and the pack look forward to getting a teaspoon of their “nutter nutter” every morning (peanut butter that has DE, Chaga, reishi, Turkey tail mushroom tincture, Tumeric, pepper and omega 3-6-9 mixed together). He loves his raw bones from the butcher. He will play with toys but not a big fan… I think he’d enjoy them more if he were to find someone to throw a ball and teach him to fetch. He’s a great dog and would flourish in a home with other dogs or him alone with some good training. No issues with small or big dogs. Not sure about cats, he’s not been exposed to cats or small children. He just needs someone to work with him and give him the life that he so truly deserves.
