Jerry (but don't show him the money)...(AKA WindChime) Chi/doxie mix4.5 months old (born 8/9/2025)5 pounds (Still growing)Good with dogs: YesGood with kids: Over 12Good with cats: Doesn't care about catsCrate trained; YesHousetrained: Doing okayLeash trained; Not yet MUST HAVE A PHYSICAL SECURED FENCE This sweet boy loves to be near his humans and play with other dogs. He has no fear of life and will need an actual fenced yard until he is trained on a harness and leash. Jerry is a small fry and being part Doxie, he will need steps to get on furniture but please make sure he doesn't jump off high places. If you’re looking for a tiny adventure buddy who jingles through life at full speed, Jerry...lack of money is your guy! **We do not allow electric fences/halo collars, runners/tethers or doggy doors **If you are interested in adopting, you must email us: Loveoflittlesrescue@gmail.com ##2528836##

Shih tzus carry a gene for wire hair. It's recessive and bred out of the breed and its unusual to have a phenotypically wire shih tzu ("Prapso" Shih Tzu, a natural short-haired variant, which is distinct from the standard long-haired coat). Being the smallest of the 4, she loves to observe and watch what her sisters are up to before jumping in. She is cautious at first but loves cuddles more than anything once she gets to know you. ** Our Puppy Adoption Policy & Senior Adopters** We absolutely adopt to seniors and value them deeply in our rescue community. In fact, we encourage adopters age 70 and older to consider adult dogs (5+ years) — they often form the most beautiful, well-matched partnerships and truly thrive together. Why not puppies? Puppies require many years of intensive care, including: Daily training and socializationSignificant physical activityOngoing veterinary careLong-term contingency planning for the next 15+ years Because of these lifetime needs, we place puppies only in homes where long-term stability and planning can be confidently met. For this reason, we do not place puppies with adopters over the age of 70. This policy exists solely to protect the lifelong welfare and stability of the dog — never to diminish the value or capability of senior adopters. Disclaimer:Adoption decisions are made on a case-by-case basis and reflect the rescue’s mission to act in the best interest of each animal. Policies are not intended to be discriminatory and are applied solely to ensure lifelong placement and welfare of the dog. We do not allow electric fences/halo collars, runners/tethers or doggy doors ##2619826##
