Story
Vegas is an active boy with a heart of gold! He was originally adopted before he could be posted online, however he was returned once the family found out he has heartworms. The community has rallied around this sweet pup, to raise enough money to begin heartworm treatment. Enough donations have been made to cover his treatment, now all he needs is a place to call home. Do you have room in your heart and house for Vegas?

Story
Hi, my name is Sheila and I'm 14 years old.  I was adopted when I was 7 years old and returned when I was 13 years old.  I was returned because I had severe anxiety when it stormed or when there were loud noises.  My family lived in the path of an airport and the planes flying over caused me to have anxiety.  I am back living with the foster family that I lived with before I was adopted. My foster mom says I am one of the smartest dogs she ever met.  I am friendly and greet visitors at the door.  If it's just one person I lay on the floor and just relax.  If there are many visitors I greet them and then relax in a different room.  I do pace when there are thunderstorms. My foster mom said one time I used the bath tub as a safe place during a storm.  I am guarded with men I don't know.  I don't live with any other dogs or cats.  I have learned to accept other dogs when I go to the groomer.  I do best in a home where I am the only pet.  I am house trained.  I am available for immediate adoption.  I am spayed, UTD on vaccinations, heartworm tested, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is $100.  If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at www.bondcohumane.org.  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request.May 28, 2023, 8:42 pm

Story
Hi, my name is Trixie and I'm about 15 months old.  I was rescued by Bond County Humane Society from Bond County Animal Control.  I was found running at large and no one claimed me.  I am super affectionate.  I think I am a lap dog.  I am energetic and enjoy playing outside and going for walks.  My new home should have a fenced yard to give me an opportunity to run off some of my energy.  I am very alert and when my human companion makes any sound I am there by their side.  I am learning a lot of new commands that help me with my manners. I know "Sit",  "Off", "Wait", "Down" and more.  I am very smart and learn quickly.   I would do best in a home with older children.  I play hard and rough with other dogs so not all dogs are going to like the way I play.  I wouldn't mind being the only dog in the house so I could have all the attention. If there is a dog in the home I would do best with a male dog.  I am very stimulated by cats so my new home should probably not have cats.  I listen well and am easily redirected with a command and/or food.  I am crate trained.  I am available for immediate adoption.  I am spayed, UTD on vaccinations, heartworm tested, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is $200.  If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at www.bondcohumane.org.  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request.May 28, 2023, 8:42 pm

Story
Hi, my name is Ralph and I'm about 12 weeks old.  Me and my litter mate, Ryker, were rescued by Bond County Humane Society from a shelter in Kentucky.   We were found as strays and no one claimed us.  I am friendly, playful and affectionate.  I like toys, but my favorite game is to play with my litter mate, Ryker.  I know how to "Sit" for treats. I am working on my puppy manners, but still need training.  I am crate trained.  I am available for immediate adoption.  I am neutered, UTD on vaccinations, heartworm tested, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is $250.  If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at www.bondcohs.petfinder.com.  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request.May 28, 2023, 8:42 pm
