Story
I’m helping find a loving, forever home for a 2-year-old male Pitbull Terrier (not neutered). 💙 He was acquired by family members as a puppy. He truly is the sweetest boy. He has been loved, but with busy schedules, his family just isn’t able to give him the time and attention he deserves. He needs someone who can pour into him, obedience training, and let him be part of the family. He listens and wants to do pleasing things. He is crate trained, wonderful with kids and cats, and loves playing with other dogs at the dog park. I’ve never seen him show any aggression — he’s gentle, affectionate, and will happily cover you in kisses. 🐾 This profile picture was taken in January 2025, when he was at his peak weight. He does have food allergies, and sensitive tummy. Please reach out if you feel like you could give this sweet boy the time, love, and forever home he deserves. ❤️ He is in need immediately.

Story
We’re unfortunately looking to rehome Jasper. We took him in back in January from someone who had to move and couldn’t keep pets, and while we’ve really enjoyed having him, the timing just isn’t right for us with baby #2 on the way.Jasper gets along great with our other dog and does well with our cats. He’s been good with our two-year-old after learning not to bump into her, but we think he’d do best with older kids.He takes time to warm up to new people and can be nervous in unfamiliar situations. He has bitten before when he felt cornered or overwhelmed, so we want to be upfront that he needs an experienced owner who understands dog behavior and can give him a calm environment with proper introductions. Would be happy to discuss details at length. He also seems like he’d have good potential to be trained off lead for someone with a larger property. He loves toys and sticks. This is not an easy decision, and we want to find the right home for him. Message me with questions.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Snickers is a resident in the Campbell County (TN) Animal Center, and the staff at the Center are seeking a foster or permanent home for him, as he is stressed in the shelter environment.   If you are interested in Snickers, please contact the Animal Center through their website or at the phone number given below.  Here is what they say about Snickers, a young BC/Aussie mix: Do you need a little Snickers in your life?? A yummy nougat encased in creamy chocolate to “make you feel you” as the famous advertisement states. This wonderful boy is a Aussie border collie mix. He is approximately 3 years old and weighs 60 pounds. Snickers has the kindest eyes that will melt your heart. To be honest he is struggling in the shelter. Although he is safe, knows he has delicious meals served daily and daily walks he would benefit greatly being in a foster or permanent home. Snickers is a fluffy black and white male, with white front legs and black back legs. He is very smart and is craving to be mentally and physically challenged. His breed mix desires to be trained, given commands and lots of mental stimulus. The shelter is a very loud and is over capacity so he is fearful of his current situation. Each day he improves and when he goes outside for his walks he does a cute little trot of a dance to celebrate. Snickers tail is the short stub that wiggles when he is outside smelling everything Mother Nature has to offer. So what does Snickers need?? A loving patient family that will allow him to relax and trust humans. He would enjoy a bubble bath and a nice brushing to make his black and white coat shine. Snickers is food motivated so his training will be fun and engaging for his new partner. So come in and meet this precious soul and let your heart melt with his sugary sweetness.   The Campbell County Animal Shelter adoption center is open Tuesday - Saturday, 12:00 - 5:30 PM at 749 Towe String Road, Jacksboro, TN 37757   Phone: 423-566-8018   Adoption applications can also be completed online at fccanimals.org  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 9, 2026, 2:31 pm
