Chloe is a wonderful family dog in need of someone who can keep up with her high maintenance self. She does have separation anxiety and will find any access to water that she can to drink out of. She loves to go on walks, run and play fetch, and absolutely loves to swim. Getting her out of the water is the hardest part.

Jesse is a terrific boy who hasn't gotten the attention he should because he is a bi-color smooth-coat BC, which may seem unusual to some. (However, smoothies are the best when it comes to coat maintainence, you should know!) Jesse is being fostered in northern Illinois and MWBCR says that he is truly a gem of a dog: loyal, smart, loves to learn, gets along with all other dogs, not over-the-top in energy level, and with great house manners. He's very treat and ball-motivated, which would seem to make him an excellent candidate for dog sports. The rescue says this about Kip: Kip is about a year old and a petite 35 lbs. She is a really great girl—sweet, affectionate, and she gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She has been around cats and simply ignores them. She is already spayed, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative. Through an unfortunate turn of events, that owner now seeks a new forever home for Oliver as her living conditions do not accommodate dog ownership. Oliver is a sweet, well-trained adult BC who has handled beautifully everything that comes his way. His owner says this about Oliver: Oliver is amazing, he knows about 20-30 commands. He knows a few tricks. He was trained from a very young age. He is completely house-trained and crate trained. He loves car rides. He loves going to the park to play. Oliver loves to swim either in a pool or an open body of water. He will ask permission before entering any body of water.Oliver is so special, he understands the English language so well we started to spell his favorite things, he loves to train. Oliver loves to give hugs. Until recently Oliver and his owner lived in Mexico, but as is noted, Oliver understands commands and cues given in English. Ash is a sweet young boy, just under a year old, who loves everyone he meets! He’s great with other dogs and rides comfortably in a crate in the car. Smart and highly motivated by treats, he’s ready to learn and should be lots of fun to train. Ash was found as a stray in Southern Indiana alongside Salem and Binx. The shelter believes they may be littermates who were abandoned by their previous owner. His breed mix is a mystery—perhaps Cattle Dog, Border Collie, or Australian Shepherd—but that’s just our guess! He’s brand new to rescue, and his foster family is still getting to know him.
