Story
Remington (Remy), a 6 year old mutt, is full of life and looking for a caring family! He is up to date on all of his shots, weighs about 43 pounds, is house trained, and is very loving when he gets to know someone. It would be best if he was an only dog. He is on Prozac to help with his anxiety when around other dogs. He would enjoy a family that will keep him as an indoor pet. He needs to be taken on walks regularly or live in space that has a fenced in yard, to keep him active. He does not have experience around small children. We will provide all health records.

Story
I’m helping find a loving, forever home for a 2-year-old male Pitbull Terrier (not neutered). 💙 He was acquired by family members as a puppy. He truly is the sweetest boy. He has been loved, but with busy schedules, his family just isn’t able to give him the time and attention he deserves. He needs someone who can pour into him, obedience training, and let him be part of the family. He listens and wants to do pleasing things. He is crate trained, wonderful with kids and cats, and loves playing with other dogs at the dog park. I’ve never seen him show any aggression — he’s gentle, affectionate, and will happily cover you in kisses. 🐾 This profile picture was taken in January 2025, when he was at his peak weight. He does have food allergies, and sensitive tummy. Please reach out if you feel like you could give this sweet boy the time, love, and forever home he deserves. ❤️ He is in need immediately.

Story
Hank is 9 years old and weighs about 42 pounds. He may be up there in years, but he is very active and has a lot of life left in him! We've always compared him to The Dude on The Big Lebowski because he's so laid-back and go with the flow. He is house trained, crate trained and a very loving and well-mannered pup (just keep the trash can closed!). He is a good buddy. He is up to date on all of his shots. He likes to go on walks and play with toys. He has not been in a family with small children. He does need a haircut every 4 to 6 months, unless you like a very scruffy dog. We just use the clippers on him when he is chill. He does have the beginnings of cataracts. He needs to find a loving home who will take good care of him. We will provide all health records.

Story
Hi, my name is Barney and I'm about 10 months old.  Me and my litter mate, Betsy, were rescued by Bond County Humane Society from a shelter in KY.  When we arrived we were severely underweight caused by infestation of parasites.  We were treated and we have thrived and grown tremendously after receiving treatment.  I am friendly and playful.  I am very alert and watch my surroundings for anything out of the ordinary.  I love playing fetch with different toys.  I have been working on my manners and I am doing very good.  I need someone who will enforce the commands and rules for play that I have learned.  I respond well to positive reinforcement with rewards of treats and praise.  I would do best with older children who will also enforce the rules.  I am ok with other dogs with a proper introduction and supervised play.   I have seen cats, but have not interacted with them.  I am crate trained and working on house training.  I am available for immediate adoption.  I am neutered, UTD on vaccinations, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is $150.00.  If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at www.bondcohumane.org.  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request.April 3, 2026, 10:10 am

Story
Jeff was dropped off at our house this summer. Very good dog, fully trained (house trained, kennel trained, listens to commands, etc.). He looks really neat with the two colored eyes. We had him neutered, shots, etc. Vet thinks he is about 1 year old. He is very good with our older dog and adults but gets too excited with kids. We have too many kids in our family and will be babysitting my nieces newborn come February. Super hard rehoming him, he is the sweetest dog, just not great around kids. We just want him to go to a good home, he deserves that!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Snickers is a resident in the Campbell County (TN) Animal Center, and the staff at the Center are seeking a foster or permanent home for him, as he is stressed in the shelter environment.   If you are interested in Snickers, please contact the Animal Center through their website or at the phone number given below.  Here is what they say about Snickers, a young BC/Aussie mix: Do you need a little Snickers in your life?? A yummy nougat encased in creamy chocolate to “make you feel you” as the famous advertisement states. This wonderful boy is a Aussie border collie mix. He is approximately 3 years old and weighs 60 pounds. Snickers has the kindest eyes that will melt your heart. To be honest he is struggling in the shelter. Although he is safe, knows he has delicious meals served daily and daily walks he would benefit greatly being in a foster or permanent home. Snickers is a fluffy black and white male, with white front legs and black back legs. He is very smart and is craving to be mentally and physically challenged. His breed mix desires to be trained, given commands and lots of mental stimulus. The shelter is a very loud and is over capacity so he is fearful of his current situation. Each day he improves and when he goes outside for his walks he does a cute little trot of a dance to celebrate. Snickers tail is the short stub that wiggles when he is outside smelling everything Mother Nature has to offer. So what does Snickers need?? A loving patient family that will allow him to relax and trust humans. He would enjoy a bubble bath and a nice brushing to make his black and white coat shine. Snickers is food motivated so his training will be fun and engaging for his new partner. So come in and meet this precious soul and let your heart melt with his sugary sweetness.   The Campbell County Animal Shelter adoption center is open Tuesday - Saturday, 12:00 - 5:30 PM at 749 Towe String Road, Jacksboro, TN 37757   Phone: 423-566-8018   Adoption applications can also be completed online at fccanimals.org  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 9, 2026, 2:31 pm
