Story
I’m helping find a loving, forever home for a 2-year-old male Pitbull Terrier (not neutered). 💙 He was acquired by family members as a puppy. He truly is the sweetest boy. He has been loved, but with busy schedules, his family just isn’t able to give him the time and attention he deserves. He needs someone who can pour into him, obedience training, and let him be part of the family. He listens and wants to do pleasing things. He is crate trained, wonderful with kids and cats, and loves playing with other dogs at the dog park. I’ve never seen him show any aggression — he’s gentle, affectionate, and will happily cover you in kisses. 🐾 This profile picture was taken in January 2025, when he was at his peak weight. He does have food allergies, and sensitive tummy. Please reach out if you feel like you could give this sweet boy the time, love, and forever home he deserves. ❤️ He is in need immediately.

Story
Hi, my name is Brandy and I'm about 2 years old.  I was rescued by Bond County Humane Society (BCHS) from Fayette County Animal Control.  I was running at large and taken in by Fayette County Animal Control.  I had been there two months before I was rescued by BCHS.  I am very friendly and playful.  I get along with other dogs.  I would play and run in the yard with another female dog about my size.  We got along very well.  I get very excited when I get to meet people. I love to be petted and get attention.  I enjoy my leash walks.  Shortly after I arrived I was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection and crystals in my urine.  Since then I have been eating special Urinary health food to prevent further infections and crystals.  I am available for immediate adoption.  I am spayed, UTD on vaccinations, heartworm tested, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is $150.  If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at www.bondcohumane.org.  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request.June 23, 2026, 3:52 pm

Story
Hi, my name is Chance and I'm about 1-1/2 years old.  I was rescued by Bond County Humane Society (BCHS) from Bond County Animal Control.  Me and another Labradoodle were running at large for a week and were taken in by Bond County Animal Control.  After spending the required 7 days at Animal Control we were released to BCHS.  I was severely matted when I arrived and was taken to a local groomer where I had to be shaved.  The groomer said I tolerated the shaving very well.  I am super friendly and playful.  I enjoy going for walks on leash.  I am very playful and like to play with any toy.  I love being with people and will be satisfied to sit next to you and be petted.  I am good with other dogs. I play with other dogs at the shelter and get along with all of them.  I don't know if I'm housetrained.   I am available for immediate adoption.  I am neutered, UTD on vaccinations, heartworm tested, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is $300.  If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at www.bondcohumane.org.  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request.June 23, 2026, 3:52 pm

Story
We’re unfortunately looking to rehome Jasper. We took him in back in January from someone who had to move and couldn’t keep pets, and while we’ve really enjoyed having him, the timing just isn’t right for us with baby #2 on the way.Jasper gets along great with our other dog and does well with our cats. He’s been good with our two-year-old after learning not to bump into her, but we think he’d do best with older kids.He takes time to warm up to new people and can be nervous in unfamiliar situations. He has bitten before when he felt cornered or overwhelmed, so we want to be upfront that he needs an experienced owner who understands dog behavior and can give him a calm environment with proper introductions. Would be happy to discuss details at length. He also seems like he’d have good potential to be trained off lead for someone with a larger property. He loves toys and sticks. This is not an easy decision, and we want to find the right home for him. Message me with questions.
