Story
Hey there, I'm Riley! I'm a great dog, but I struggle with severe anxiety around some people. I was fine with other dogs in my foster home, but I get anxious around energetic kids, especially toddlers. My current family loves me, but their busy schedule and a new landlord who doesn't allow pets mean they can't give me the attention I need. They're looking for a loving home where I can thrive. Despite my anxiety, I'm loyal, affectionate, and ready for adventures with the right person who can understand and give me the space I need. If you're looking for a sweet companion willing to start fresh, that's me! Let's make memories together.

Story
Sheldon is a very sweet and charming young male dog. He was taken from an abusive living situation. Because of the abuse, he is initially hesitant about meeting new people and is a bit skittish. However, he quickly warms up and seeks out affection. I have been working on socializing him with people to help him overcome his fear. He was raised with cats and young children. He did well with my child after proper introduction. I have had him fully vaccinated, treated for heartworm, neutered and microchipped. He gets along well with other dogs of all sizes and loves to play. He is smart, listens well, and is eager to please. He is a super cuddle bug, goofy, and perpetually happy. He is potty trained and kennel trained. Easy to bathe and will even wear dog sweaters without complaint. Unfortunately, I can no longer foster him due to a city ordinance complaint (I have three dogs of my own). I was hoping to find Sheldon a loving person/family instead of taking him to a shelter.

Story
Eowyn (pronounced "A O win") is a very wonderful dog. I drove down to Texas to pick her up from a dear friend who is battling pancreatic cancer and could no longer take care of her. When I got home with her to Illinois, I immediately found out that she is NOT compatible with other animals, especially cats. She is a VERY loving dog, very emotionally supportive and she LOVES all people!!!! Please help me find her a forever home. She just cannot be with any other pets or animals. The very minute you meet her you will fall in love with her. I live in Belleville, IL and am willing to transport her within 200 mile radius, or even further if necessary

Story
I adopted Sweet Pea in September of 2020 and she was 1 year old at the time. She is now almost 5 years old. I adopted her from a friend who realized that she needed more space and time than he could provide. I have now come to realize the same thing. I have a large backyard, but she is constantly finding new ways to escape. She needs a place where she can roam as she needs. A farm or a large plot of land would be perfect for her. She lives up to her name! She is very sweet and gentle. She loves cuddles on the couch, long car rides, long walks. Her favorite treats are bananas and popcorn!

Story
Nova is a very sweet, loving cuddlebug who really just wants to snuggle up to her humans. She is pretty low-key for a 10-mth old, and just requires a few runs around the yard a couple times a day to get her zoomies out before she is ready to lay down next to you for hugs. She is house broken and kennel trained (we only use a kennel at night) and knows stay and sit down. She does need a home with a tall fence - ours is 5 ft but as an Australian Cattle Dog she has springs in her long legs and she can (and does) clear our fence regularly, although not by much so 6 feet would likely be better. We do recommend homes with older children. She is still in the mouthing stage for now and although she is 100% not aggressive and doesn't apply any pressure while mouthing, accidents could happen with very small kids (our 3 year old is fine but it's something we stay aware of). She's a great pup and if it weren't for the divorce and needing a tall fence, she'd stay with me forever.
