Story
I rescued him privately a couple years back (2023) and he’s been glued to my hip since, he was originally an outside dog for my bosses daughter and her husband and they had him constantly locked up in a 6ftx10 outside kennel. It has been really hard to break his habit of wanting a confined space. He is indoors kennel trained and respects the “go to bed” command I love this dog with all my heart and I hate to see him go but I work 10 hour days and I’m not at my house frequently enough to be taking care of an animal. Some things you have to know about him He is really intelligent He loveeeeesss deep ear scratches He is a jumper and loves being pet up close and personal He can only eat lamb and rice formula dog food, I’ve tried others and he got really sick He isn’t malnourished but extremely skinny and lanky, the vet says it’s from lack of activity and being depressed from lack of affection. He’s a really good dog and I don’t want him to go but I can’t take care of him anymore

Story
Hi, my name is Tucker and I'm about 3 months old.  Me and my litter mate, Piper, were rescued by Bond County Humane Society from Fayette County Animal Control.  We were found as strays.  Even though we are considered Labrador mixes we probably will not be as large as a Lab.  I am friendly and playful.  I play well with other dogs, large and small.  I also enjoy playing with a 9 year old boy that helps at the shelter some time.  I am still learning my puppy manners and sometimes I just want to do things my way.  I am crate trained.   I am available for immediate adoption.  I am neutered, UTD on vaccinations, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is $300.  If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at www.bondcohumane.org.  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request.July 14, 2026, 11:09 am

Story
I’m helping find a loving, forever home for a 2-year-old male Pitbull Terrier (not neutered). 💙 He was acquired by family members as a puppy. He truly is the sweetest boy. He has been loved, but with busy schedules, his family just isn’t able to give him the time and attention he deserves. He needs someone who can pour into him, obedience training, and let him be part of the family. He listens and wants to do pleasing things. He is crate trained, wonderful with kids and cats, and loves playing with other dogs at the dog park. I’ve never seen him show any aggression — he’s gentle, affectionate, and will happily cover you in kisses. 🐾 This profile picture was taken in January 2025, when he was at his peak weight. He does have food allergies, and sensitive tummy. Please reach out if you feel like you could give this sweet boy the time, love, and forever home he deserves. ❤️ He is in need immediately.

Story
Hi, my name is Brandy and I'm between 2 and 3 years old.  I was rescued by Bond County Humane Society (BCHS) from Fayette County Animal Control.  I was running at large and taken in by Fayette County Animal Control.  I had been there two months before I was rescued by BCHS.  I am very friendly and playful.  I love everybody I meet, young and old.  I get along with other dogs, small and large.  I run and play in the yard with any of the other dogs.  The only thing I will not do is get in the kiddie pool, but I will drink out of it. I can hardly contain my excitement when I meet new people.  I will almost immediately show you my belly for rubs.  I also enjoy my leash walks.  Shortly after I arrived I was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection and crystals in my urine.  Since then I have been eating special Urinary health food to prevent further infections and crystals.  I am available for immediate adoption.  I am spayed, UTD on vaccinations, heartworm tested, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is $150.  If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at www.bondcohumane.org.  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request.July 14, 2026, 11:09 am

Story
Hi. My name is Macy and I am a large girl. I weigh approximately 100 pounds. I am a mix of reat Pyrenees/Newfoundland/Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog. I was adopted 6 years ago and have been a perfect dog for my dad but life changed and now there are children in the house. I love them one-on-one but when they get noisy, I get nervous. My people fell it would be best for me to be back in a childless home, or with older children. If you are looking for a big, beautiful girl to love, that’s me. Help me find a quieter forever home. My adoption fee is $150. If you are interested in Macy, please visit www.pawscare.org, and click on the online application. We require the application to be filled out and approved prior to meeting her as all of our animals are in private foster homes. Please fill out all information as we cannot process incomplete applications. A phone number for your veterinarian is a must. We CANNOT process your application without a vet phone number.
