Looking for a sweet boy with a little puppy energy and a softer side? Meet O'Reilly! This handsome 10-month-old, 34-pound neutered male may be a Mountain Feist mix, and he’s ready to find someone who will help him blossom into the amazing dog we know he can be. ❤️ O'Reilly is a little more on the shy side, so he may need some time to feel comfortable and show you his true personality. Once he warms up, he’s a fun-loving young pup who enjoys being around his people. He also does well with other dogs, which can help give him a little extra confidence. Like any young dog, O'Reilly is still working on his potty training and leash skills, so his new family will need to be patient and willing to keep working with him. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. I want A "FUR"ever" HOME!  Read the FULL Bio to see where I am located and contact info:    D2026-169 Meet Diva! Diva is looking for her forever person! At just 11 months old and 48 pounds, Diva is a beautiful German Shepherd/Husky mix with a BIG heart and a personality to match her name! Diva is an incredibly smart, loving, and highly trainable girl. She is what we lovingly call a Velcro dog—if you're moving, she wants to know where you're going! She absolutely loves being glued to your side and soaking up attention from her favorite person. Diva does have some anxieties, so she needs someone who understands that she may need time, patience, consistency, and training while she learns what it means to live in a home. She previously lived outside, so she is not potty trained yet and will need someone willing to teach her the basics of being a house dog. A few things to know about Diva: Learning how to play and interact with other dogs — she needs time to adjust and someone willing to work with her. Not cat friendly Not potty trained yet Very smart and highly trainable ❤️ Extremely loving and affectionate Total Velcro girl who wants to be by your side Needs someone committed to helping her build confidence and learn Diva isn't looking for someone who expects her to be perfect on day one. She's looking for someone who will give her a chance, put in the work, and let her blossom at her own pace. With the right person, this gorgeous girl has the potential to be an amazing companion. ❤️ If you're looking for a loyal best friend who will happily follow you everywhere, Diva may be your girl! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. I want A "FUR"ever" HOME!  Read the FULL Bio to see where I am located and contact info:    2026180 Meet Tequila! He’s small, spicy, and comes with a warning label! Meet Tequila, a 1½-year-old, 13-pound Chihuahua mix who may be tiny, but he has enough personality to fill an entire room! Tequila is good with other dogs and older kids, but cats? Well… let’s just say he considers them an exciting opportunity for a high-speed chase. A cat-free home would probably be best! And whatever you do, DO NOT let him see a doggie gate and assume it will contain him. Tequila can either jump over it OR climb over it. Apparently, nobody told him he was supposed to be a small, contained dog! ‍♀️ Loves to unlive stuffed animals Loves FOOD because obviously Knows basic commands Good with other dogs Good with older kids Will chase cats Doggie gates are merely a suggestion ⚖️ A perfectly spicy 13 lbs Tequila is equal parts sweet, sassy, athletic, and chaotic. He’ll happily show off his commands… right before plotting his next escape from whatever barrier you foolishly thought would contain him. If you’re looking for a little dog with a BIG personality, questionable respect for boundaries, and a serious passion for snacks and stuffed-animal destruction, Tequila might just be your guy! ️ Adopt Tequila. Because life is too short for boring dogs! ❤️ *Tequila will be ready for adoption mid September so don't miss out* Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. I want A "FUR"ever" HOME!  Read the FULL Bio to see where I am located and contact info:    D2026-179 Meet Baxter! Say hello to Baxter, a little over a year old, 17-pound Chi/Terrier mix who is looking for someone who will show him just how wonderful life can be. ❤️ Baxter came to RCHS after being signed over to animal control by an older woman. Because of his past, he can be very shy and cautious when he first meets you. He needs someone patient who will give him time to learn that he is safe and won’t be hurt. If voices get raised, Baxter gets scared, so a calm and gentle home is a must. He would also prefer a quieter household without a lot of hustle and bustle. Older children would be best for him. Once Baxter trusts you, though… you’ve got yourself a serious snuggle buddy! He loves curling up with his people and also enjoys playing with his toys. Good with other dogs Good with cats Total snuggle buddy Loves toys Knows basic commands Prefers a quiet, calm household Older children preferred ❤️ Needs a patient, gentle home Baxter may not be the dog who runs up to you and immediately acts like you’ve been best friends forever. He needs a little time to trust—but once he does, he’ll give you his whole heart. He deserves someone who will be patient with his shy side, celebrate his progress, and show him that people can be kind. Maybe you could be the person Baxter has been waiting for. ❤️    *Baxter will be ready for adoption mid September so don't miss out* Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. He went to the veterinarian for a good teeth cleaning and some vetting and is ready! This poor senior has been through so much. He has hair growing back in the patches he was missing from flea allergies. Tramp is said to be around 9 years old and 17 pounds.  When he first came to us he was scared as can be but he’s come out of his shell and turned into such a lover. He is the type to curl into your lap and go to sleep! He does well for car rides and snuggles into his bed.
