Story

Bella was a stray for many months, she was caught and taken to the vet when she was hit by a vehicle. The vet cared for her and operated on her hind legs. She was adopted and then that owner could not care for her due to the owners health declining. I adopted her and have put her through a lot of training and gotten her on pain meds (to help her mood) and anxiety medication to help her. The surgeries do not affect her as she runs and hops around with a lot of energy! She is very sweet and active. She has gone after my parents dog multiple times and my other dog multiple times and I cannot keep her. She needs to go to a home with no other dogs and if with kids they need to be older.

Charlie is a 6-year-old pit bull/heeler mix that I took in from a friend at 1-years-old. Charlie loves pets, chasing his ball, and will insist on going out with you when you take the trash out! He is a loving, cuddly boy that will be a lap dog if you let him. He does well with a chihuahua who runs the house and has enjoyed playing with other dogs without incident in the past. He loves to chew on squeaky toys, but his main goal is to rip the stuffing out. He will eat toilet paper as a substitute, so you’ll have to watch out for him sneaking off for a snack! He’s had some tummy and skin sensitivities, but has done well with being on a sensitive kibble. He knows sit and could likely be trained for other basic commands. We are looking to rehome him due to recently bringing a baby home and not having the time to give him that he deserves. He is curious of the baby and wants to be near her, but I have not seen his interactions with older children.

The sound of the baby crying makes me bark and I’ve had to live in the in the garage. I don’t do well with other animals. I am aggressive towards cats and dogs and I meant for a home where I would be the only animal. Hercules is five years old and a fantastic best friend and companion. He is also very food motivated, which can be a huge help when working with him and building his confidence.Unfortunately, Spud struggles with significant anxiety and reactivity, especially outside of the home. Living in an apartment has become increasingly stressful for him. The constant presence of neighbors, other dogs, shared outdoor spaces, and unexpected encounters makes it difficult for him to relax and feel secure.
