Story
My parents bred huskies and I have been left with a number of them. I am trying to rehome a bunch of them as I do not have the time with a full time job. They are rather shy of people they don't know but very sweet and very well behaved. Freya is a loving sweet girl. She does well with all male dogs and some females. She will be very shy and need time to adjust. She will warm up and adjust with the right person/home. She deserves a chance and a lotttt more time than I can give her. I believe a quiet, uneventful home would be best for her. Serious inquiries only please. She is 8 years.

Story
I have a beautiful yellow labrador retriever that needs a new home. Buddy is house broken and will lay down or sit on command. Buddy is great with other pets including dogs, cats, and farm animals. He would do best in a home where he can run and play with other pets and kids, and be taken for rides or to the lake. I aquired Buddy (then Smokey) from a reputable breeder. Buddy comes with papers and you can register him with the American Kennel Club. Buddy has had all shots up to a year and a half ago. He also has his rabies shots with certificate. Buddy has a chip and is a member of Home Again so if he is ever lost you can put out an alert immediately and also have access to 24/7 emergency medical hotline, 24/7 access to lost pet specialists, and access to pet travel assistance. Buddy needs his yearly checkup and a new perscription for heartworm prevention. Loving Homes Only!

Story
Have you ever wondered why the tradition of smooching under a sprig of mistletoe at Christmas time started? Someone at MAS read a story to me about a god being struck down with an arrow made from a mistletoe plant, so his mother goddess mandated a promise of a kiss to ensure that mistletoe was never used for violence again. So mistletoe became a symbol of love and peace, through the grief of tragedy. I don't know if there is truth in the story, but I can promise you that I will do my best to live up to being a symbol of peace and love at home with you! I say that I will do my best, because I do have a bit of prey drive; so I cannot promise I will be so loving and peaceful to small critters like cats, squirrels, or small dogs. But I have done well with some other dogs my own size. If you have a dog, have no fear! MAS does dog introductions before I go home to make sure we are a merry match! Before meeting me, you should know that I am as sweet as a Christmas cookie and I love being around people...I have some pep in my step so I might be a little much for very small kids (I would hate to knock over a small one when I get excited with the zooms). They say that nobody is perfect, but I would have to say I have got to be pretty darn close! If you have some extra smooches for a sweetheart like me, submit your adoption application to the website below to meet me! DOB: 8/27/2018 For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physical fenced in areas. Please fill out our online adoption survey at www.mackenzies.info/adopt/adoption-survey-application/

Story
Did you know that the ivy plant is a symbol of everlasting life, devotion, fidelity and loyalty? An inspiring name for a charismatic pooch such as myself! Being the young lady that I am, an active family would be a match made in heaven! Play time is quite possibly my favorite time of day (sometimes I get a bit carried away with my plushy toys). I like to live life enthusiastically, having a positive direction for my gusto would be the ultimate delight for me! Although physical activity is an absolute riot, having a cool down period with some mental games is a good time too. At the end of the day, I just want to be involved with my people. I am not one to turn down a snuggle session by any means. What can I say, I am a sweetheart after all. I hope to find a family that wants to understand and accepts me for the glorious rescue dog that I am. For instance, I like some other dogs, but not every dog. Smaller dogs (and cats for that matter) remind me of chicken nuggets, I can't help but feel some prey drive there. But some other dogs my own size are fun to hang out and play with. I suppose that its pretty normal to not get along with everyone you meet in life though. Whether or not you are a botanical enthusiast, if you are looking for a forever companion submit your adoption application for the perfect furry addition! Resilient, loyal, and gorgeous - it's triple threat Trinity here! And I am ready to impress you with my heart-of-gold spunk! Let's start with my ideal digs – none of that noisy, rambunctious stuff for me. I'm all about that laid-back adult-only vibe, free from the hustle and bustle. Let's just bask in some peace and tranquility; I relish in some cozy cuddles but feel free to do your own thing. I'm perfectly content entertaining myself with my toys or a quick snooze. When it comes to strangers, I don't exactly roll out the welcome mat. It takes time for me to warm up and trust new friends, but once I do, it's a friendship for life! To join my pack is the real deal. Just know that we will stick together through thick and thin, creating all the best memories and sharing snuggles like there's no tomorrow! As happy as I am to indulge in an afternoon laze, there's nothing quite like getting my heart pumping and feeling the wind in my fur! Ever seen a powerhouse like me tear through a room, giddy with the zoomies? It's a sight to behold, let me tell you! And adventures? Count me in! Whether it's a rugged hike or a road trip for a pup cup, I'm game for it! Wait, did someone say treats? I've got a bit of a weakness when it comes to food. Show me a tasty snack, and I'll show you what a pup with determination and a hunger that just won't quit! And hey, who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? I'm living proof that you can teach this ol' girl a thing or two! Well, what do you say? Ready to join the pack of a tough, yet totally silly, and downright lovable pup like me? Check out the MAS website below to fill out your adoption application and let's get this VIP party started! DOB 2/26/17 For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physical fenced in areas. Story
Meet Hero – a lovable, larger-than-life pup looking for his very own hero! Don’t be fooled by his photos; Hero is a whopping 75-80 pounds of pure, giant puppy energy! This sweet guy is seeking someone with experience in handling large breeds to help guide him toward mastering his manners and leash skills. If you're ready to be leaned on (literally – he’s a "lean in for love" kind of guy), you’re in for plenty of affection. Hero loves exploring the yard, lounging on the couch, and gnawing away at his favorite chewy bones. He thinks playtime should be an ongoing event, but he’s learning that it’s important to mind his p's and q's. With a strong prey drive, Hero is not the right fit for a home with kitties or small animals. He’s lived with other dogs in the past, so any dog introductions will be required to make sure your dog is just as into Hero as you are! Despite being a lot to handle at times, Hero is a sweet, bright boy who’s all about earning a snack or two! He’s motivated by tasty treats and thrives with consistency – whether that’s in training, patience, or love. Hero is patiently waiting for someone to be his guiding hero and bring him home. Could that hero be you? Apply to adopt Hero at the MAS website below – you won’t regret it! DOB: 2 / 21 / 2023 For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physical fenced in areas.
