Story

Nymeria or Nya is a 9-month-old German Shepard mix. I am not 100% sure what she is mixed with. Her dad is a purebreed German Shepard, but her mom is a mixed lab. This is one energic puppy. The walks are great, but I will say she gets overly excited about the walk in the first 5 minutes. You will need a bit of strength to hold her until she calms down a bit. She is such a cuddler in the mornings and loves loves loves to chew on bones. (She does break them apart, surprisingly). She is amazing with other dogs. I love her to death, but I am a college assistant cheerleading coach with another part-time job. Also, I am working on my Master's and I barely have time to give her the exercise she needs. She deserves a big yard to run around in, and someone that has the time to spend with her. She is so goofy and a bit clumsy. She has recently been spayed (August 17th) and ripped her stitches, so I am currently rubbing ointment on the area until September 4th.

Story

Due to an unexpected terminal illness, our lives have changed so we cannot care for Kane the way he deserves. He's very loyal and loves family time. DOB 4/9/21. He is house broken, lays down on command, sits well, still working on stay and come. He is still a puppy in some natures, but starting to show maturity in others. If you are familiar with boxers, you know their maturity is a bit slower. Kane is still learning to control his excitement with visitors. He has mastered no jumping, but loves to kiss and hug them. Still needs your guidance with that. He is mellow and routine oriented otherwise. He Loves cuddles and treats. He loves to play in his large fenced yard. He entertains himself, prefers you join him. He plays with visiting dogs, no issue. He has not been around cats. He has never destroyed anything in our home. Kane is very sharp and curious, would benefit from further training. Kane needs a family to love him like we do and spend that time and energy with him.

Story

Poppy age 3 1/2 years is a loving dog with separation anxiety issues. She needs more exercise and stimulation than I can give her. She takes daily medication for her anxiety which she readily takes inside a cheese cube. She is spade microchipped and up to date on shots, gets along with some dogs and seems to ignore cats, is good with kids with proper introduction. I have new people give her shredded chicken as a treat until she likes them. Works every time! She likes to burrow under blankets. Leash trained but loves to run in a yard. She is fearful of new people and situations but warms up quickly with encouragement. She is very treat motivated. She would do well with an individual or family that can give her more exercise activities. She tends to whine when unsure of her surroundings but is very quiet at home. I keep potty pads in a room in case I am unable to take her out as needed. she does indicate when she needs to go. She is eager to please, loyal and protective.

I got Leto from the humane society. He is a great puppy that likes to laze around most of the time but is never scared of a long hike or a short run. I was told he is about a year old. He hasn’t grown since I got him so he is probably full grown at about 110-115lbs. I only am looking at rehousing because of some unexpected life changes that have hit me, and between travel and other things I cannot reasonably keep a dog.

I got Molly from Puppy Stop, Osage Beach, MO. She was born Jan 20th 2023. She is a lively, healthy pup, loves her belly rubs and cuddles. She loves to run around in the yard and she is very calm. She loves people, and is welcoming to everyone that comes around including children. She also does well with other dogs. She would love a playmate. She is potty trained, with minor accidents every now and then.

Jerry, is a fun-loving happy boy! He is smart and loyal…he likes to be near his owner as much as possible (not stepping on toes or anything; just near you). His favorite toy is a ball. He will fetch it if you through it; but then he will walk in the other direction and keep it! 😂 His favorite game is “rolly ball”, this is where you sit on the floor and roll the ball to him and he rolls it back.😄 He is a lazy boy! So you have to make sure you force him to go on daily walks/jogs and gets adequate exercise. He is slightly overweight and we’ve been working on that with him. He really is quite the character. He understands many different words and phrases and you can practically talk to him like a person. He is leashed trained, of course; however, he doesn’t usually require one. He’s such a good boy. His main issues would be weird little quirks, like how he really doesn’t do stairs.😅 He is really just a great dog and good buddy to have around. My family needs me, so he needs a new family.💙
