Story

Ranger is a 5 year old husky. He is one of the quietest huskies I have ever met. He is very smart and trainable. He is very food motivated and will let you clip his nails if you give him treats and is good at the groomers. He loves walks and playing fetch but is not very good at tug of war. He has lived with cats the entire time I have had him and has had no issues. I adopted him from Kansas City Pet Project, where they found him on the street covered in paint. I have had him for 4 years and regrettably need to rehome him due to moving and needing to get a new more demanding job. He is well trained but needs a firm and consistent hand. He knows sit, shake, lay, high five, crawl, speak, zip it, wait, leave it, beep beep (move out of the way) and touch. He has always been very food motivated and will get in the trash for tissues or food if left out. He is much better about it then when I got him. I will provide food, kennel, beds, toys, food bowls and medical records.

Story

Hi, I'm Zena. I'm a very sweet girl; all the volunteers at the shelter will vouch for that. I do have to get to know you a little because I'm a bit on the shy side, but it doesn't take long for me to make friends. Also, I suffer from separation anxiety. This means that when you're home with me I'm a great companion, sweet and well-behaved. However, if you leave me I must be left outside of the house in a fenced yard. It's okay, I like being outside as long as I have some shelter from the extreme weather; a doghouse in the winter and shade in the summer. I also need a home with a 6 ft. privacy fence because I like to climb chain-link fences. I know the right person will come my way and then it will be just like in the movies, happily ever after. Are you my way to happily ever after?

Hi, my name is Kimmie. I’ll bet you can see in my picture that I’m a sweet girl at heart. I started out in a prison training program. It was great because I was learning all kinds of things to make me an even better friend. However, they discovered that I have seizures. Because of this, they could not keep me in the program. That’s how I ended up at M’Shoogys. However, this isn’t the best place for me either. What I really need is a good home with good people who understand I have special needs and don’t mind giving me medicine to control my seizures. When I’m confused I also tend to want to bite so I can’t go to a home with small children as they don’t know about giving me my space. If you have a big heart full of love and understanding and want to take care of a dog that really needs it; I’m the one for you! Those adopting Kimmie could get her medication at Angel’s Vet at our cost.

Hi. I'm Wyatt. I found myself back at M'Shoogy's after being adopted. I got lucky once and I'm hoping it'll happen again. I'm a little bit older but still have a lot of love to give. I do need to be in a home no kids and I'd do best in a home with no other dogs. I'd be a good alarm as I tend to bark only when I hear something that's out of the ordinary. I'm a friendly guy once I get to know you but I'm a little unsure at first. I'm housebroken and I've also had some kind of training since I sit for my treat and even know the command "shake." I need to be in a home with no chickens, or male dogs. I'm also a protector. So, it's best if I'm in a home outside the city. So, maybe I'm just a loner, and if you are too, we'd make a perfect match!
